Coloccini Back For Newcastle – Tiote Out

Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini is back in the Newcastle starting line-up, for the Premier League clash against Bolton Wanderers this afternoon at St. James’ Park.

Fab coming in for Tiote  is the only change to the side that won 2-0 at Swansea on Friday afternoon and racked up four wins in a row.

So it looks like Fabricio  will partner Mike Williamson at the back, and James Perch, as expected,  will fill in for Cheick Tiote in defesnive central midfield, and it looks a strong Newcastle side to take on Bolton Wanderers this afternoon.

It’s good that Yohan Cabaye is fit,  after being taken off after 74 minutes on Friday in South Wales, presumably  as a precaution.

For Bolton, both Davies start – Kevin is up front and captains the side, and Mark, who is rumored to be a Newcastle target in the summer,  starts in central midfield for the Trotters.

If Newcastle can get the win this afternoon,  it will be the first time since April of 2006 that Newcastle have won five league games in a row.

Howay The Lads!!

Newcastle United (4-3-3): Tim Krul; Danny Simpson, Mike Williamson, Fabricio Coloccini (c), Davide Santon; Yohan Cabaye, James Perch, Jonas Gutierrez; Hatem Ben Arfa, Papiss Cisse, Demba Ba

Second Perch post in the last few minutes…

but in recent games ive noticed that rebound from free kicks and corners, Perch has only been a yard away from having a tap in on a few occassions…reckon he’ll bag one today :D!

I like the bench too (bar Elliot).

Nice mix of young players plus Raylor & Shola.

    Good feelin’ about this match.

good team. very easily can switch to a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 with jonas in the midfield or moving to the flanks. easy transition.

Testament to Perch, that Tiote is out and nobody bats an eyelid, whereas they’d have been people in hysterics a few months back.

Cisse’s movement will be far too clever for ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ extra, Wheater.

    4-0!

today could be the best day yet since this run started because i can see chelsea getting a loss (easier to spell than losing lol) against fulham which will be a big helping with our aim of atleast 5th

I hope Colo and Cabaye can last the match, reckon neither is particularly fit but have been risked with us having 12 days before the next game.

I think the biggest roar possible would be if Perchinho scored today, the roof would come off 🙂

Perch is playing so well and Carr is so good at finding talent, people seem almost ok with Tiote being sold in the summer. Really says a lot about the faith in our thin squad and recruitment team

Ruddy…Not really. I don’t want Tiote to go, as I’m sure most don’t. However, compared to a year ago, I think fans are more relaxed about players leaving to high bids. Just shows we have more faith in the squad and recruitment. Def not me saying I want Tiote sold 🙂

    Feeling optimistic?

“25M in G.Carr’s hand or Tiote?”

Beginning of the season i would have said Tiote…

but although when hes played Tiote has looked as good as before, its when he hasnt played and we havent missed him (e.g. second half vs Swansea), makes me say 25million for Carr to spend!

I’ve got Hatem Ben Arfa to score first. The LB for Bolton was having a rubbish game on Saturday, so Hatem has got my vote for first goalscorer. And I’ve got Cisse to score two goals.

geordiejamie, I’ve just stuck £2 on ben arfa to score first and us to win 5-0 at 175/1 with Ladbrokes. Not being over-confident like, just think they’re pretty huge odds!!! Not bad return if I win from 2 squid 😉

definitely don’t want tiote go, every creative player need someone that clean their mess and shield the defence so that creative player can focus on attack
    zidane need makalele
    xavi need busquet
    kaka need ambrosini & gattuso
therefore we need tiote to make cabaye and hba play at their best

    A bit off topic but…

I’ve never bet before online. I think I should as I am not bad at predicting results. Do you guys open another account with your bank only for online betting or do you use your existing account for online betting?

I am just asking because I would like to start but confused about all the pay pal and all the stuff.
