Thinking about it, am really impressed with this game in contrast to the swansea game. In that one we countered and frustrated them and today we passed it beautifully and kept possession.

Imressive that we can properly cater the style to the opposition.

Got to be Cabaye today. Scored 2 and assisted the other. Opta stat showed that he’s been involved in 5 of our last 7 goals (2 scored and 3 assisted).

Great performance all round today. We never once looked in danger.

Cabaye’s day, but to me Santon did really well and was rock solid performance from him.

Brilliant team performance…but Cabaye was the standout to me. Cabaye has the skill of a Modric or a Mata, combined with the tenacity of a Tiote.

lol was looking thinking who the hell voted for Krul. Has to be cabaye but cisse played well again and santon was excellent. Ben afra had a great first half but not so good second. BA although had some nice touches still looks a shadow of the player he was hopefully get his goal soon.

    Cabaye for me.

Always rated him but today he showed why we went for him. He showed his brilliance that he showed in France today

Yeah ankle injury for Cabaye, no news yet though. He was walking off so I don’t think it’s too bad.

Tiote actually had his best game of the year, but somehow was only the third or fourth best player on the side…if youre Stroke, you know you’re in deep trouble when tiote is getting two shots on goal.

excellent win but please don,t get rid of tiote, the guy was awsome most of the game, i think the big difference in the camp now is , we,re enjoying playing football now, you can see it through the team, come on qpr

Don’t compare Cabaye with Modric, it’s an insult to Cabaye. Modric is a media darling and fairly ordinary in reality, in my opinion.

I voted for Jonas, think he’s outstanding as a DM, he’s adjusted to his converted role unruffled, gives great protection to FBs and is composed on the ball, canny ‘freekick winner’ too, when in difficult situations.

    Roll on Wigan! 😀

I’m happy Demba Ba was not substituted 2day coz he really needs his confidence back

On the contrary, I didn’t think Tiote was at his best today. His passing was a bit sloppy although he did have two ferocious shots at goal.

Cabaye is MOTM , but the hole team deserve 8/10 at least. Only Ba was weak, he needs to find hes confidence, the club did everything for him.

i realised something.. whenever there’s a defensive midfielder in the team, such as Tiote or Perch, it allows Cabaye to roam forward and usually played very well.. his performances suffered only when he’s been put to play with Guthrie. and this new 4-3-3 formation really had us playing beyond beliefs..

champions league? europa league? it doesnt matter.. we’re going to europe! when we only had eyes on being on the top half of the table!

I was incredibly pleased with Santon today. He had a great game, got forward at the right times and defended when necessary. The lad is really growing into the club now.
