Tiote and mikel talking now. Don’t know if that’s mikel apologising or tiote having a go but atleast he is okay. Looked a nasty hit to say the least.

Oh and to clarify I believe “swallowing” of the tongue is where it relaxes, flops back and covers the air way. Not literally swallowing it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysuQdnA2X_Y high quality version of goal of the decade.

Honestly, we’ve had some great goalscorers in our time but if Cisse stays, I honestly think he’ll outdo Shearer. He is just out of this world. I’m honoured that he plays for Newcastle, I really am. This kid is a legend in the making.

Pure predatory ST. He must really make other STs question whether they’re just kidding themselves they’re STs – raising the bar.

Also, they should wait until the end of the season before casting votes on team of the year etc, he should absolutely be in it.

We’ve have now officially exceeded the points total I predicted at the end of January as the absolute very best scenario.

I had us done for 62 points as our maximum….wow!

Can you become a legend after 11 games?
If that’s possible, Cisse has done it.

But honestly even the 1st goal was good but the 2nd, I can’t describe how good it was. Great performance tonight , I hope the FA look into mikels and ivanovics elbows on Tiote and ba. Dirty tw@s. although I can’t see it happening.

I love Perch for his diving headers and sliding tackles but his positioning needs to be spot on also to do these things. The guy has looked consistently good in a variety of positions making his exploits even greater considering this is premier league level.

Seriously, I would pick him for England on his current form

Brilliant just brilliant, shame Bolton lost the plot for 15 mins when they should have taken the lead, that leaves me a little bit gutted but all we can do is win our games which the boys dd magnificently tonight, between us and spurs now really

They won’t be able to do anything in regards to Mikel’s elbow on Tiote.

The referee had a clear view on the incident and decided not to take any action.

Ivanovic’s elbow to the back on Ba was unnoticed by the ref though.

I haven’t seen a player with a better instinct for goal. seriously.

Cisse never stops running, never stops looking for a route to goal, will defend any corner of park when out of possession, and will shoot when he wants, will shoot when he wants, will shoot when he wants, will shoot when he wants!

I chuckled when I heard chants of,

    He dives when he wants,
    He dives when he wants,
    Didier Drogba!
    He dives when he wants.

To be fair to the lad though, he hasn’t dived as much over the last two seasons.

AP confirm Cheick Tiote will play on Sunday – “He has a 9-inch gash in his head and ‘400’ stitches. But it’s just a scratch to him.” #NUFC

Tiote can be stoped only with a tank… maybe.

what a result, if Tiote is fit for Sunday & Perch stays in the starting XI, i reckon we’ve got a good chance against Citteh to get a draw at the very least, just have to hope Spurs slip up to either Villa or Fulham cos Bayern will smash Chelsea in the Champos League final!
