Joey Barton Simply A Shameful Disgrace – Video

Joey Barton seems to have slipped back to become a jerk again – like he used to be.

Joey Barton – pleading his case – what case?

He was sent off in yesterday’s crucial game for QPR at Manchester City,  just after QPR had equalized at 1-1,  but it left relegation threatened QPR down to 10 men after 54 minutes,  in their final last minutes of the season.

Amazingly Jamie Mackie put QPR ahead after 66 minutes,  but two injury time goals gave City the win 3-2, and the Premier League title for the very first time,  in a dramatic last five minutes of the season.

If Bolton had got one more goal at Stoke to win 3-2, then QPR would have been relegated,  and it would have been no thanks to Barton.

Of course in Newcastle’s relegation year back in 2009, in the 4th last game of the season at Liverpool, Joey got himself sent off and missed the vital last 3 games of the  season, and then Newcastle manager Alan Shearer banned him from the training ground.

Alan Shearer on Match of the Day last night rightly criticized Joey’s behavior at his former club City, after his confrontation with Carlos Tevez, which got him a red card, but as he was walking off he kneed Agurero in the leg, with that mean look on his face.

His conduct yesterday was inexcusable, and he seems to have dropped back into being a thug on the field,  after showing signs that he was over that,  for a year or so, while he was playing at Newcastle.

But of course these days we have Tritter and it’s available for all those people who want to make their point – or make a bad situation even worse.

While we would have hoped that Joey would have at least apologized and shown a little remorse for his actions  to the QPR fans, after all he is the QPR captain – this is what he put out last night:

Shearers still on my case…”I know I f*cked up Alan, thanks for stating the obvious”.

“Whilst were both stating the obvious about each other, can I just say for the record what a great player u were. Well better me…”.

“But I have a better hair(which is not hard), wear well better shirts on TV and have a personality(something u lack)”.

“I really don’t like that prick, in fact I honestly despise him… Goodnight”.

“I’d take it off Hansen and @GaryLineker but not from that bell, same fella that stamped on Neil Lennon, then threatened FA if they banned him”,

“…That he would retire from international football. No sorry, not having him, never have. Selfish, boring man him. He can do one…”.

“My favourite memory of him though is when he dropped his spuds when Keano put it on him. Goodnight Al, sleep well matey….”.

“With that my #shearerrant is over… Goodnight all xxxxxx”.

So Joey is showing there,  that he has no class and gives no apology for being sent off,  in what could have been a catastrophe for QPR.

As we said, he’s simply a disgrace to football that he should put nonsense like that out, and we wonder if Martin Hughes will want to keep him at QPR, on his inflated £70K/week wages, where he is now getting into the newspapers  for all the wrong reasons.

We supported Joey when he seemed to be putting both his football career and his life back together at Newcastle, but with these actions, just let’s say we are glad he is not playing for Newcastle.

Here’s the video of what happened in the game yesterday if you haven’t seen it.

And with one fell swoop he has lost all respect from any Newcastle supporters.
How many chances has he had? Would like to see QPR sack him!

it was scary watching Joey just completely lose it, especially that face he had when he kneed Aguero in the back .

Shows that he hadn’t completely gotten rid of his devilish temper

Would have loved to see him square off against Balotelli though 😛

What a prick, I wish he & QPR & him had gone down yesterday like they dserved; after agent Foy cheated Bolton & Owen Coyle of survival with a soft penalty and not giving a foul for thug Walters taking the ball out of Bogdan’s TWO hands.

He also tweeted this but deleted it straight away. Luckily some people managed to retweet it before it was gone.

    @Joey7Barton: P.S. My final point, ur a sh*t pundit/manager…

    Absolute waste of space.

If we play against Barton next season (very unlikely as he’s getting a 10 match ban & will probably be sacked by QPR, Mark Hughes looked livid when he got sent off) i hope Tiote snaps both his legs off so he doesn’t ever play again.

If i were Joey barton, i would probably have done the same thing, Tevez made a meal of whatever happened. He knew he had been unfairly sent off, if QPR go down, he could no longer do anything abt it. so why Not!!!!.

    P.S
This is just abt this incident, i am Not a thug like JOEY

    1) Man City get rid of him, then Man City become champion

    2) NUFC get rid of him, we are no 5 in the league

Cant wait for him to retire and no other club want him.

my question is that: why did some of our fans said barton is a legend? legend of b*llshit

To have Djibril Cisse and Joey Barton on the same team…!

Will they ever have 11 men finish a game?

    @Indian Magpie

No matter who you are, there is no need at all for violence like that in this great game. If you agree with Bartons actions yesterday then you are just as bad. Shocking attitude Indian,

hdavid23 @ 15 – Yeah they could put him alongside their usual clown/maniac Clattermole. What a pairing that would be!
Seriously this guy should be kicked out of football. Yesterday’s actions were a disgrace to the game. Glad to see, after he had been viciously kicked by the sad specimen, that it was Aguero (a proper footballer) who got the winner to clinch the title. That’s the way to capture the right type of footballing headlines Barton.

BARTON IS A TOTAL KNOB & COMPLETE NUTTER..BUT How fickle we are….
Memory from the past – 50,000 fans singing Bartons praises ( cos he was the best we had at the time ) even though many still despised him as a character !!!

NOW – we all hate him and he’s a nutter ( BOTH OF WHICH I AGREE WITH ) but haway lads….FICKLE.!

Joey Barton… he used to be the best right winger we had before Ben Arfa’s resurgence. Kinda like our boy Ryan Taylor. Hardworking, decent crosses and actually cares about every game that he plays.

I don’t know if it was me or what. But it looks like both Tevez and Aguero made a meal out of Joey’s contact with them. Of course, it doesn’t mean that Joey should lash out like that. Just pointing out that those two Argentines doesn’t look all that innocent.

Joey did look like he got the fire in his belly under control while with us. But did he flare up on that day. I hope for his sake he can channel his aggression properly like Rooney or himself one or two seasons ago.

I know for certain gentleman Alan would be the bigger man and just ignore Joey’s outburst though so don’t you guys worry about this thing becoming some kind of a saga.
