I wasn’t saying u were being foolish, i was talking about AP.
Wether the grass is greener or not has nothing to do with it. It comes down to the players wanting faster success seeing as their careers are pretty short.
It’s better that AP keeps it open than repeat the Carroll thing. If he doesn’t say anything at all, speculation will rise equally high as when he says it’s probable that someone leaves.

Aren’t the players likely to get success at NUFC? I’m sure hoping they are and if players want to leave then there the fools! Colo could have been snapped up by any big club but he has chosen to sign a long term deal. Shouldn’t that been a signal for others to follow? AP has to signal his intent for next season by signing three or four quality players surely that will only help his cause to keep the best players at the club. Money talks theses days. We’re almost in the black as a club and with Europe next season surely the money (albeit not that much) will help the club in the long run!

I voted for Krul personally but Collo is definitely a close, close 2nd for me but most of the other usual starting 11 are also a close 2nd too. Ba fired in 16/17 goals to kick our season off to the best start for years, Cisse has scored 12/13 goals after playing his first game in FEBRUARY,not forgetting his goal of the season! Ben Arfa has scored 3 of the best goals of the season aswell his best against Bolton, Cabaye sweetly set up some amount of goals and got stuck in when we needed him to. Tiote is Tiote, Jonas is in my eyes 1 of the hardest working players to ever pull on a black n white shirt in every aspect apart from goal scoring and last but not least Santon would have been the break through player of the season but for the fact we also had Ba, Cabaye and Cisse,Davide has been Great in my humble opinion.

I nearly forgot about the massive contribution Ryan Taylor put in the main 1 being his free kick that beat the makems! Simpson has also cleared some amount of balls of our goal line that its unbelievable! Steve Taylor was as solid as anything aswell until he got injured. Guthrie never had a bad game and Perch has totally turned his career around too he’s gone from being a joke of a defender to being a tough tackling ball winner in the middle of the pitch. When you think about it we are lucky to have such a great team and I also have to thank Pardew, Carver, Stone and Beardo for doing such a great job in training this team to such a high standard and Carr for spotting the potential in players like Tiote, Cabaye and Santon and making sure our manager and chairman get the best deal for the best players.

Sorry mate, but there is a reason juventus are letting him go for free!!!! I dnt want him here, he is toooo old, better options out there for less money, stop living in the 90’s mate

And why would U be happy to see Ba go?? Are U crazy?? Ba has to stay, we won’t find a better replacement..tell me who was the last Newcastle player to score more than 15 goals in the premier league?? And how long ago was that?? Now we two who can do that and U want rid of the other…
Some people need to wake up, we won’t get dejong. Etc, they are valued at more than 12 mill..

    BA HAS TO STAY!!!!

This might sound insane but i think we should sign Marouane Fellaini from Everton as he can play in 2 positions we need covered during the ACON, the 1st position is as Tiote’s replacement as DCM or alternatively he could play as the 2nd striker where he played so well against us on sunday. He’s young, big strong, skillful, he can tackle, he can head a ball, he can hold the ball up and he scores a decent amount of goals. his wages would be in our wage structure and Everton don’t barter themselves out of deals by asking daft prices like 15-20m so i reckon we could get him for 10m or a little under. Oh and we would have to open a bigger wig section in the club shop for collo and fello wigs just imagine hahaha!

really? did you see Ba play for the last 3 months? did you see how he act? HE HAS TO GO.
Stop living in the 90’s? I’m not living in the 90’s. These 35+ players are still good to beat anyone. Do you know Scholes, Giggs? Why would MU call him back from retirement? Did you see Nesta kick Messi’s ass (world best player)? Even Inzaghi can still score 16 goals if not more. Look at Raul, Klose, Seedorf, etc. Even Shearer is still dangerous.

I agree with you that these older players can still be productive for a season maybe 2 at push but i think tarie is trying to tell you that Newcastle just won’t be buying or even paying the wages of these older players now as our transfer policy has changed even from last season when we got Campbell and Kuqi for nowt just to fill a gap for a few months on a low wage. The policy is now only buy 20-23 year olds with great potential like Abeid and or 24-27 year olds that are proven talent like Cisse was and is & always will be.

Why am i insisting on these older players? Because we have a young squad and they can’t handle the pressures. Do you think it will be less pressure next season? I don’t think so. We need at least 1 players who’s been there and won it. The last 2 games, we have no winning mentality, we were broken down into pieces.Nesta or Del piero doesn’t have contract or clubs now, I’m sure they will accept reasonable wages, plus for them it’s not about money, since they already have a lot. They just want experience playing outside Italy.

I think Ba will be back in the goals come the new season he’s been really unlucky not to score quite a few times since Cisse turned up. I agree he has had a few bad spells in games and i remember him going off in a huff when he got subbed against Bolton but he’s still one of the best goal scorers in the premier league at the minute and it would cost alot to replace him. I really hope Demba 1 doesn’t leave we still need him alot!

It’s not only about their skills, that’s why Fergie called Scholes.

I think we didn’t win the last two games because (and no offence meant to the 2 guys i’m about to mention) Perch was playing in his weakest position and Willo is very hit and miss as central defender. Man city and Everton know this and they attacked our weaknesses and it payed divid ends for them this is why we need to either sign a new RB & CB or shift Santon to RB and sign a new LB.

I think we have the same tactic vs Chelsea, the only difference is the pressure. I don’t think it’s about tactic, they were afraid to make a mistake, their movement became restricted and made even more mistakes.

I’m not sure why it worked against chelsea but not citeh and everton you might be right when we restricted our movement (because we didn’t have faith in Perch and Willo) we did make more mistakes. I just can’t see how adding an older defender with restricted pace would help relieve pressure anymore than Willo would? I mean we tried it with Sol last season and we got our asses kicked by stoke, STOKE!
