Demba Ba Signs For Galatasaray – It’s Not True

We’ve realized we all have to be very careful these days with social media like Facebook and Twitter now being used worldwide.

Demba Ba – going nowhere?

That’s because it’s so very easy to send news around the world, which is not true. So what’s new?

And that happened with Newcastle’s interest in Ajex midfielder-full-back Vernun Anita last weekend,  when there was a buzz that the fee and a wages had already been agreed for the player, and that he was due on Tyneside for his medical.

As it turns out none of that was true, and we received a number of emails yesterday, saying that Demba Ba had signed for Turkish club Galatasaray, because apparently Sky Italia had reported the Turkish club had met the asking price of £7M in his release clause.

That could be true, but they then have to agree wages with the player, and there was a story earlier this week that Demba’s wage demands had put them off.

So at least right now, Demba Ba is still a Newcastle player, and according to the Evening Chronicle last night, Newcastle denied that any of yesterday’s news was accurate.

And Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, who was a guest pundit on the BBC’s Euro 2012 coverage yesterday, also said he had heard absolutely nothing of a bid for top striker Ba.

We hope it stays that way until September 1st, or even through July 31st, when his release clause runs out, but if Demba Ba does leave, it would seem it’s because of the money.

That would make it easier to lose him, but we still hope he commits his future to Newcastle United, and be part of what looks like an exciting future ahead for Newcastle.

    Papa

You have to be the single biggest goon ever to have posted on this fIne blog. I mean I have come across people who don’t have a clue what threw talking about before but you take first place.

Firstly to say that ‘we are giving you independence’ in conjunction with Scotland possibly gaining independence is the single most stupid thing I have ever seen. The Scottish may be giving themselves independence. The English aren’t giving it them you stupid pr1ck. How arrogant must you be to think that. Next you talk about the armed services and how Scotland would still be protected by Britian is it gained independence. Again you are a moron. Currently the Scottish pay taxes to the British treasurery but should that cease they would no longer be eligble for protection of the British armed services and so would need to find their own defence. However given they contribute massively to the armed services and those sons and daughters are dying alongside the English throughout the world protecting cocks like you I don’t think they would have a problem.

    Shot bur

Whilst I understand you take on secretanarism o cannot accept you view that the problem is nation wide in Scotland. Yes there are many who are divided but take a look at the country of you birth to as similar in terms of race, religion and culture. The Scottish have secretarian chants yet here in England we have chants over the colour of a players skin, we ask if a players wife takes it up the arse, and I’ve heard fans chanting about rape. So we are hardly perfect. Bringing Rangers (and other Scottish clubs) into our leauge and giving them a new direction and new rivalries can only help the problem.

Novo your also a goon. The reason to invite Rangers into the leauge wouldn’t be for their club it would be to benefit the whole of British football. Allowing Scottishg teams would unify Britian even further and give the people of Scotland another reason to vote no in tue referendum. The Scorttish FA is on it’s knees also and the national team is suffering due to the lack of money, investment and talent. A move such as this would improve the quality of Scottish football. As for how it would benefit us well imagine the revenue it would bring in having Rangers and Celtic playing in the PL.

It won’t happen due to the SFA and thief need for nationalism but I would think the fans of Scottish football would like it to happen rather than seeing their leauge fall into te abyss.

Finally for anyone that says the Scottish hate the English you need to take a look at yourself. Are all Scousers racist because a couple of fans chanting about racism?

The rivalry of Scotland and England goes far back into the past and the Scottish people do not hate the English anymore than the Welsh, Irish, French, Spanish etc… Hate the English. It goes back to the times of war.

And you educate you on the Scottish independence. The Scottish aren’t voting on total independence they aRe voting on political independence. They would have their own laws, their own goverenment and their own nation but they would still be British and recognise the monarchy. Let’s not forget that the British monarchs can be traced back to Scotland and Germany and that Tonald McDonald is more English than the Queen.

James 1st if Scotland became James 6th ofn England and eventually the thrones united. Then the English queen married a German.

Anyway that should shut you single minded morons up. Probably not though.

    Thanks Keely

    Ha ha TDS

I woke up at 8, kissed my girlfriend and then kissed my Shearer picture and thought I’d read the blog. I saw the posts from last night and this morning and went mad!

Ha ha, back to nufc. I don’t think Ba is leaving because he wouldve gone already. The only club seemingly interested is Galatasary and I doubt anybody else will be. Maybe a Turkish, Greek, Russian or Qatari club may want him but would he want to leave to go to them??

Have to say as far as the whole argument goes im not opposed to rangers joining the league due to fans but purely if they still answer to the SFA, a bit like swansea and cardiff answer to the welsh FA, all appeals etc go to them and swans n cardiff were notorius for getting reds overturned in championship n league 1 any club playing in the english league should be under rule from the english FA full stop

Lets move from Scotland to England.
I still have my doubts that Ba will stay. It seems Ba may turn out to be a bit of a nomad. Seemingly doesn’t care where he plays as long as him and his bro make some money.
It’s a shame, but it does look like it could be reality. 4 clubs in 18 months, it’s not the whole truth, but it could turn out to be a pattern here…

It’s because of devolution. The Scottish nation voted in the SNP and they now have the power to vote for independence.

It’s like if Newcastle City Centre wanted the community to vote on whether or not to build a new stadium and then invited the votes of other people throughout England. It wouldn’t make sense to let other people vote on something local so on a national scale it wouldnt make sense to ask the English to vote on Scottish independence. Plus there is more English sixths Scottish vote may be void if all the English voted no.

There should be a vote in England though to offer our advice and feelings but we cannot determine their fate. It’s like the Falklands, their doing the same.

completly agree Dannyo i dont think he is completly commited to the toon which is a shame really however i wont judge him until a bid comes in from a lesser team in a lesser foreign league coz if he leaves then it will just prove hes driven by money and money alone!

that being said i do hope he stays really he has no reason to want to leave hes part ov a front 3 that struck fear into every defence towards the end ov last season and hes in Europe playing along side his international teammate in Cisse

why would u wanna leave 🙂

Sorry guys last bit I swear

If Ba leaves then good riddance if he stays then fantastic.

For me it isn’t about retaining his quality it’s about retaining or getting rid of his personality.

If he is a mercenary only here to put himself In the shop window then get rid for £7 million and be happy with it. If he wants to stay he needs to sign a new contract.

    i hope Ba stays

because if we get debuchy and have marveux fit we can actually play an offensive 442 with him and cisse up top and the movement and the workload from the front 2 could be deadly when they actually do click

the reason it did not work last season is because simpson and jonas offer nothing going forward which put a lot more pressure on Cabaye and Tiote in the middle who sometimes got outnumbered because there was no one to pass it to on the wings and when it went to Jonas it would either get lost or result in a bad cross

But if we have overlapping fullbacks on each side like Santon and Debuchy along with 2 wingers who can actually take the ball on and cross it in i think the partnership could work as last season even though at the end we done well some of the games we hardly created any chances but still won

would like to see us batter a few teams next season rather than just scrape through with a 1 – 0and 2 -1

433 would still work in certain games and 442 in other ones will work as well obviously with a better CB than williamson as well will make it easier as i have no nails left from last season watching us cling onto games!!

Demba Needs To Come Out Himself To The Press and The Geordie Nation and Say Weather he is Leaving Of Staying at Newcastle … Its probably a Load of Crap that he is Leaving . If Cisse and Tiote are saying this week they are staying then Demba Ba has to do the same either shut up and stay or move on so we can get more players in.
