Newcastle Fan To Run 7 Marathons In 7 Days In Tribute To Father

I am more than happy to help Newcastle supporter Josh Bone in every way I can, as he attempts to run 7 marathons in 7 days, in honor of his father Ron, who died of cancer last year at age 60.

Josh Bone – 5 minutes after finishing the London marathon last year
Hey – who’s that sponsor?

Josh is a 21 year-old lifelong Newcastle fan, and an avid reader of this blog, and he lost his father Ron, who was aged only 60, when Ron sadly finally lost his fight with cancer last year.

And in honor of his father, and to aid two Cancer charities, Josh will be running 7 marathons in 7 days in early September.

Josh will run from London to Paris, and he will be raising funds to support two major Cancer Charities, Cancer Research UK and Dorothy House Hospice, and he hopes to raise at least £10,000.

Last year, Josh ran the Brighton and London Marathons just one week apart, and only a few months after his father’s death.

This year Josh hopes to complete this gruelling seven step challenge from Trafalgar Square in London, to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, from Sunday, 2nd September to Saturday, 8th September.

I know that money is very tight these days, with the state of the economy and everything – but if you can possibly donate to this cause please do so HERE.

We will do everything we can to help Josh achieve his goals in early September.

Thanks for supporting Josh in his brave and courageous efforts.

Obertan looked very poor as usual. Carried on from last season. Either way, he is a good player for depth. We should keep him. Better used as an impact sub as his pace gives defenders something to think about and alter game plan.

Vuckic still has a long way to go before he is ready for the first team. A loan seems like the best option for Vuckic now as his development seemed to have stalled. Even Abeid now looks more at home around the senior players than him.

A couple of more players with real quality and we are just about ready for the season. HWTL,

have to feel for Lille, winning ligue 1 then losing their stars – Cabaye, Hazard, Gervinhno and most likely Debuchy, not to mention Joe Cole not returning to them. Lille fans must hate the premier league top 6

There is no way we would sign Remi without Ba or Cisse leaving. We need a young striker that is happy being third in line but with enough quality to be pushing for a start, leaving Ameobi as fourth choice which would be perfect. My choice would be Guidetti

Well Guidetti wouldn’t be happy to be our third choice striker. He said that he wanted first team football..
Remy would be perfect imo he is young, quick and can play as a winger.

As Scharner looks almost nailed on (after all, he IS trying to sell himself on this very blog) maybe we could go a step further and snap up Owen to give him some spending money to go with his main profession of hanging around horses who other people feed, clean, train, ride and generally do the work for. It would be soooooooo icky if he like, had to, like, let his ego not be attached to a huge premier league club anymore even though he contributes nothing for his vastly inflated wages.

    What a guy.

The Remy link has come out of France it seems though doesn’t appear as if there’s much in it, he wants away but Marseille wont entertain bids of less than €18m. Spurs bid €12m a while back and were waved away….

A noble cause for young Josh….best of luck fella!

Logic dictates we are looking at a 3th or 4th choice forward preferbly someone who can play with and would bide his time.

Ba and Cisse are going nowhere.

I cannot se the likes Carroll, Guidetti or Remy accepting that. They are wanna play.

I think a young, hungry forward will arrive and rightly so. But hi, if the board wants to buy a £ 12 mil forward who am I to complain 😉 hehe
