Lewis Spears is one of our readers, and he and his pal Mail Shotting are planning a cycle ride across the country for Help for Heroes. They'll be setting out from Whitehaven at around 8:00 am on Sunday 23rd of June, and will cycle across the country in one day, arriving at South Shields in the evening.
It's all for Charity - Help for Heroes - and a modest target of £500 has been initially set, but hopefully that can be exceeded.
Here's where you can donate to Lew and Dan's coast to coast challenge - thanks.
I have had several medical tests completed over the last couple of weeks, and they show my PSA count is undetectable, which signifies my prostate cancer is currently under control, and there is still no trace of it in the body.
What does this mean - well it means the blog will be continuing for at least another six months - until I get my next set of tests - that's the most importamnt thing.

It does not show on the ‘highlights’[!] but Tiote was everywhere today – fantastic work rate.
Overall we retained possession and passed well for much of the game – controlling the game as AP calls it.
We missed Cabaye’s passing from midfield.

Debuchy played for 70 minutes today. Unless he pulls off a miracle, he has no choice but to stay there :/
