Newcastle To Investigate Racial Abuse Privately With Den Haag

One of the unfortunate things that happened during Newcastle’s 0-0 draw with Den Haag last night, was alleged racial abuse against some of the Newcastle players at the Kyocera Stadium.

Papiss Cisse in action yesterday in Holland

And the Tyneside club have confirmed they will be pursuing the matter with the Den Haag club, since the chanting came from the home section of the crowd.

A Newcastle spokesman has confirmed in a statement that Newcastle will be handling the issue with the Eredivisie club, but it will be done privately.

This is what the Newcastle spokesman said in a statement:

“In relation to alleged racist chants reported during Newcastle United’s friendly against Den Haag today, the club will be raising the matter with officials at Den Haag and the issue will be dealt with privately.”

We hope that Newcastle can get to the bottom of this and maybe identify those who are guilty and take any legal steps they can to punish the perpetrators.

Tiote was airlifted out of the stadium in a hannibal lecter type concrete prison. For the safety of the locals

Cant watch that again lol. On Debuchy, i think his club are treating him like rubbish. 8 years of service and the club are thinking of their own selfish needs without a tiny thought for the wishes of Debuchy. I know he said he would not do this but he really should put in a transfer request whether he ends up here or anywhere else. Lille have move the goal posts that many times on this deal and if i where in charge of NUFC i would never ever do business with them again. I know they do not need the money but they really are a bunch of selfish f…ers that run that club.

Can’t see us signing debuchy now, Lille are awful for digging their heels in, they did it with Hazard last year and sow the year before (both left a year after) The hazard money means they’re finances are good, theyl dig in over debuchy and lose him for about 4m next year would be my guess! Think we’re 2 first teamers (a rb + cm) and 2 up and coming squad players (CB + Fwd) away from bring a top 3 team!

NUFC should move on from Debuchy. A double swoop for Anita and Weil would be a good move. Lille will rue the day with the way they have went on over this deal.

We were disappointed when we allowed Enrique move to Liverpool for £6m. A lot of people thought we shod have kept him, or held out for more money. Cannot blame Lille for holding him to his contract.
We might get him for nowt next summer or next to nowt in Jan.
Probably not but you never know.

    He’s got more than 1 year left, so I doubt we’ll be getting him for free like (;

ED ; I heard it – not sure I could believe it at the time, but you could hear on the audio of the first half what sounded like M_Chants – . .
    Shocking!

    – I suppose he has a contract with Llle- so yes – and we end up in players going on strike, which sounds familiar

When you take into consideration the club had already stated the opinion that they would not stand in the way of his progress as he has been such a loyal player.

If this is how they will not standing in his way, I would hate to see them when they are trying to be awkward with a player.

Nufc Transfer Rumours on Facebook are stating we’ve bid 10mil for Anita and VdW. Cant see that being either true or if it is, accepted.

Yes they can reject his request.

But think about it why would you reject a request and then have an unhappy player in your squad potentially upsetting everyone?

There is a very good chance that this is not going to end well for Lille as MD wants to move to the toon and he will probably see it a Lille just blocking his path trying to screw more money out of NUFC so he could end up constructing his move by being an unsettling influence in the squad and that could happen without him having to ask for a move.

After all asking for a transfer means you generally lose all and any transfer and loyalty monies.

The point I’m making is that we would want our club to pull out all the stops to keep our best players or get the best price. You cannot knock Lille for doing likewise.

Hi boys, this is my first post. I was going to submit some comments a couple
of weeks ago but was frightened off by one of the contributors. There was a thread about some potential signings and one contributor, I presume a male stated words to the effect that if we sign him “ I’ll shite my panties.” I waited for the person to be taken to task about wearing panties –I’ve been raised believing that panties are an item of female clothing. Nobody mentioned anything. So I think that most contributors to this site must also wear ladies panties or condone the wearing by men of such items. I am not into this sort of stuff and can proudly state I wear mens Y fronts or Marks and Sparks mens briefs.
I had just about regained some confidence to do another post when I was frightened off again by some deviant stating that, as I recall, that he had kidnapped Debuchy had covered him in oil and was about to give him a “rodgering” with a hose pipe. I do not want to get involved in this type of behaviour.
I have regained my confidence to submit a post but point out that I will not provide any of my personal details to persons involved in any of the above mentioned practices.
Anyway back to the blog – dealing with racism privately. I fail to see in this day and age that such matters could be dealt with privately – they must and should be dealt with publicly and any individuals identified as participating receive appropriate punishments along with their club. Dealing with it privately is the same as sweeping it under the carpet.
Back to Debuchy –I think we will sign him. Having him and Santon as attacking fullbacks will frighten the crap out of some teams.
Centre back signing is a must –unfortunately Williamson is not a top drawer CB. I am also worried somewhat about Obertan –a couple of games ago AP reported that he was the pick of the bunch. I must have been watching another game.

CuppidSunt, it’s quite ironic that you’re the one trying to insult people over an on-line forum. Especially since you should have got the hint that I’m only writing first to annoy some certain people, and it seems as though that’s worked on you to. So I believe that you’re actually the moron.

But I’m not here to coach the stupid and the plagued such as yourself, so I’ll leave it here.

Question. If we sign someone else say, VdW then where would that leave MD? I know he wants to come to the toon but he must be thinking the same thing surely? “Ok I kick up a fuss to get out and Newcastle has signed someone else!” What then? Guess MD has to be careful here.

Good point. But thinking about it there will have to be a cut off point. If we really do want him then will we wait and hope noone bids on Simmo or that one of the youngsters break through and are good enough now for the PL, bid for someone else or just hope he becomes available quickly. Will the board keep Cabaye tHAT informed on transfers? I’m unsure myself.
