How can 99% of people think 4-3-3 works infinitely better than 4-4-2 yet we STILL plod along dissappointing with it?

We were never going to lose today. When they scored it was only a matter of time untill we scored and then only a matter if time untill we scored the winner. Unfortunately down to villa time wasting all game there was not enough time to get the winner.

Is the next goal we score the 1000th premier league goal??

cisse is better than demba ba.

demba ba is an idiot and he is a grumpy fool all he did last season was complain for playing left wing

cisse was so happy when he was playing up front on his own

now cisse cant get a sniff cause demba ba always shoots and gets in the way of cisses movement

demba ba needs to be sold to nott forest for 5 million cash up front

then we can buy an unselfish player

a player like kevin doyle cisse wont have any worrys with him as kevin doyle is more of a teamplayer

So its ba’s fault cisse isnt scoring?
Atm cisse couldnt score in a brothel so your ideal solution is to have ba injured for 6 months and try to flog him in jan?
You truly are a fcuking genius maybe all that sleep deprevation through watching melboure at 4 in the morning is starting to take its toll

@Ben arfa cisse is better than ba?

The only reason he was scoring last season was because teams were worried about ba and that free’d space for him..Also you cannot expect some1 to score goals like that every week we all knew it was going to end at some point imho ba looks more consistant

Yeah, request to the fans.. please dont feed people like Ben 11 and Kets, cause thats what they want.
Marv is such a composed player and Ober has finally realised the simple thing, go past your man with pace and put a good ball in. These two guys have shown the drive, so hopefully they are rewarded with more gametime. As someone said, it was an insult to give Marv 5 minutes, he has ALMOST ALWAYS done something good with the ball. We have to improve lots to have any chance of getting something from Goodison. Here’s hoping!

we need to sell the following players

danny simpson-1 million get the cash in before he goes on free
santon-3 million fee off the roma good by italian mama boy
anita sell him back to ajax-for 4 million
sell cabaye to arsenal for -12 million
sell ba for 5 million-to nott forest
sell elliot for 2 pounds-to fleetwood town

we would then have 25 million in the kitty

we buy fellani from everton for 17 million pounds
and buy debuchy for 8 million quid

our new team would then look like this

    BENARFA11 –

“if ba wasnt playing cisse would score”

1.Ba played in almost every game Cisse scored in for Newcastle. His mere presence is obviously not the entire problem.

    2. I get really sick and tired of people like you stating things as if they are definitively true and without the mere possibility of being incorrect.

You are not an all knowing oracle, nor are you a time traveller (that I’m aware of). Do not state future events or possibilities as objective fact: it makes you look even stupider than when you normally talk about just football.

    Got to go lads.

Lot of work for the team, but i was pleased to see Obi, Beny and Marv together at the end of the game.

This is the future in my opinion.

    A very exciting Lille/PSG tonight.

    Bonne soirée messieurs.

what the hell is AP thinking here
    quote from SSN
I thought we were a bit funny today. For us, we lacked a bit of discipline in areas and our set-plays were awful.

if you think that’s funny then you think like a clown so no wonder you brain does not know about formations.

Shocking that some people on here are celebrating Simpson’s injury……well that’s a positive supporting approach to the team!
We are already a thin squad with 8 players out and 4 in and then to top it off we’ve got people still banging on about Simpson…..
Next match against Everton I’d like us to play one Striker and 5 in midfield…based on what I’ve seen so far this season by performance and injuries I think this is our best side:-
I think this would be our best formation. I would drop Cabaye simply on poor displays so far this season. Jonas can work well in the middle and provide deeper options…..Bigi looks capable on his on in DM.
    Concern is injuries so far:-
Raylor, Shola, Perch, Simpson, Sammy….is that everyone… early in the season this is crushing.

Again if ya gonna play 4-4-2 then you have to have (a) two strikers who are not too similar in movement but a good partnership (b) play attacking wing backs or wings. When I first saw Cisse’s first match he worked really well and linked with Obertan….really cannot understand why we don’t start off with Marv and Obertan or Amalfitano.

you got to ponder the question why no one stumped up the 7 million cash for demba ba in summer we all know why

he is past his sell by date just like his strawberry syrup is.

this guy is a disaster he has jinxed cisses goalscoring run

he also didnt help cisse for senegal in african nations cup

the sooner he goes off to the county ground the better…….

I don’t like Jonas as a player. He does nothing. He’s loyal and fantastic when it comes to hard work, but his days of great football are over.
Pardew needs to stop being a little wuss and drop Jonas because of this. Also, drop Cabaye, Ba and/or Cisse. Those three need a wake up. Badly.

Everyone now knows you are not a fan of Ba. However do you need to repeat your point? Today was frustrating but please either get behind the team….or restrain placing overly negative perspective comments repeatedly. No point whinging about the players we got….that’s our team….simples 🙂

Cabs was poor today. No doubting that. Whether it be ring rust (sounds painful!) or that his head really WAS turned during the transfer window, it doesn’t matter. If it takes him to be dropped then so be it.

I love the lad, and on his day you will struggle to find a better midfielder, however he’s not had ‘a day’ in a while so maybe things need to change. Not permanently, but maybe he needs to find his drive and determination again to reignite the player he was last year.

i think alan pardew could learn abit from his opposite number today

paul lambert showed how to do it today and the performance was much improved by his team

he dropped big profile names like

    shay given
    charles n zogbia
    and gabby agbondoler

    and got a deserved point

maybe we would do well at everton now

if he dropped jinxed demba ba

    just scroll past the comments.

Personally dont mind the players we have, obv we should have strengthened but thats for another day, not gonna change til January so forget transfers and think formation and tactics.

Bigi and Tiote together in midfield, or Jonas in place of either as Bigi is new and Tiote made of glass at the minute.

Anita RB, looked good there and was nice to see we could at least use the RB for attacking means for once. Not a dig at Simmo, u can tell he tries his hardest, solid defensively but just not blessed with skills.

Please though, 1 up front vs Everton, use Cabaye as a free man between midfield and Ba(Cisse needs a break until he finds his sharpness). We are the only team who can get a world class playmaker who has proven he plays best in a 3 man midfield and then waste him in a 4-4-2.

For us, Lille and France he excels in a 4-3-3, lets just use it.

And Marveaux on the LW, offers more of a threat than anyone else down there.

Think Jonas is a CM now, works hard, good at keeping the ball etc but you need an end product to play LW and he just doesnt contribute enough with goals and assists to play there anymore. but a solid teamplayer nonetheless and plays well with Tiote.

Come on AP, ditch the 4-4-2, Cisse and Ba are not a partnership, lets get back to the times when we actually controlled matches last season and push on. This season isnt over for us or anything stupid, but lets kick on in 2 weeks time and start moving.

i think maybe its time we put adam campbell on the bench

give demba ba something to worry about knowing there is a hot new prospect on the bench to take his place he might be more of a team player then and give cisse the goals he needs to become top premiership goalscorer

i cant believe demba ba has ruined my bet on cisse he doesnt give cisse any chances

cisse must think that he should injure him in training or spike his strawberry syrup

cisse is not a 1 season wonder either he scored plenty of goals in germany to

alan pardew has 1 more chance make the right team or he is going to be sacked

Do they need attention? It’s immaturity at it’s most vicious I think.

I really hope Ben Arfa 11 is a younger than 15, otherwise it’s just really sad.
