Josh Bone Finds It Tough Going In Second Marathon

Josh Bone, the Newcastle supporter who is attempting to run seven marathons in seven days in aid of cancer, and in honor of his father Ron who died last year of the disease, completed his second marathon in successive days from Felbridge to Lewes yesterday, but since seven miles of it was uphill, which was unexpected, it turned out to be tough going.

Josh Bone – before yesterday’s second marathon

21 year-old student Josh Bone is attempting to run 7 marathons in 7 days from Trafalgar Square in London, to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, from September 2nd through September 8th, and we’ll be following his progress every day.

It’s in honor of his father Ron, who died last year of cancer, and Josh will be raising funds to support two major Cancer Charities, Cancer Research UK and Dorothy House Hospice, and he hopes to raise £10K.

You can follow Josh’s progress on his blog every day during this week’s tremendous efforts, and you can donate to Josh’s cause here, and you can also donate by text – text LTOP90 and the amount to 70070.
