Sunderland Road Sign – For Football Follow Newcastle – True!

We were sent this photo last night and expect to be around the Internet in the next few days – and it’s valid too.

This sign is in Sunderland too – oh my!

You would have believed it was dreamed up by the Toon Army but no, it’s a road sign in Sunderland that is pointing the way to the Stadium of Light.

But if you want football the sign suggests you follow Newcastle – “For Football Follow Newcastle.”

Basically the sign says that the Stadium of Light is straight ahead but if you want football turn right and follow Newcastle – that sounds about right. 😀

You cannot make up this stuff.

Thanks to Gordon Thompson for sending us the photo.

Hahah, thats quality. Makes the Collo injury news slightly more bearable. I think the sign should also say for clean drinking water and half decent crack 🙂

Has anyone seen the Reuters report about Ashley not getting his expected dividend from Sports Direct?
It actually says,” He does not take a salary and generates significant free advertising for the company through his ownership of English Premier League club Newcastle United.
For all those (including myself) who’ve doubted whether he actually pays for all that tat he has at the stadium that may be seen as confirmation?
