Newcastle Supporter Josh Bone In Sight Of Paris

11:04 am, Saturday, September 8th, 2012 by Ed Harrison · 7 Comments

Newcastle supporter Josh Bone completed the sixth leg of his seven marathons in seven days target yesterday, when he ran from Gisors to Cergy in bright sunshine.

Josh Bone on the road in France yesterday

On Josh’s blog he is reporting that the sixth stage wasn’t too bad, but he is completely sick of the long D915 road, which seems never ending.

Josh is due in Paris some time today,  and it will have been a magnificent achievement by the 21 year-old who will have completed seven marathons – one a day for a week – to run from London to Paris, and it shows great courage and fortitude, to say the least.

Josh is running the marathons in honor of his father Ron, who died last year of cancer, and Josh will be raising funds to support two major Cancer Charities, Cancer Research UK and Dorothy House Hospice, and he hopes to raise £10K.

Please donate to Josh’s cause here if you possibly can – and you can also donate by text – text LTOP90 and the amount to 70070.

You can follow Josh’s progress on his blog every day during his brave efforts for charity.

Which post was the incident in? I also agree I have read many your posts Ruddy and you have never came across as the villain. I have seen you passionately defend yourself, and mix it back when others have been rude.

The venom just has to stop. We can all agree to disagree. If we were all sat together in a pub there is no way we would be calling each other ‘idiots’ and ‘tosser’ etc. Some people are misunderstood but thats still not a reason to start a bun fight. We are all on the same side here. We need to remember that.

Amazing, I would be passed out with my bones ground to dust after a few miles. Way to go, Josh.
