Newcastle Supporter Successfully Runs 7 Marathons In 7 Days

21 year-old Josh Bone has supported Newcastle United all his life, and he completed his seven marathons in seven days yesterday, when he ran the last and final stage from Cergy to Paris and finally arrived at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Josh Bone – I did it – at the Arc de Triomphe yesterday

Josh started on his journey from Trafalgar Square in London last Sunday, and apart from a hitch when the ferry across the English Channel was delayed for almost twelve hours early in the week,  everything went off  well,  and he achieved his ambition of running the seven marathons in a week, in honor of his father Ron, who passed away of cancer last year.

Josh said he would do it – and he’s done it – and we’re sure his father will be very proud of him – and we offer him our congratulations for a job  very well done,  and which showed great courage and fortitude.

Josh is raising funds for cancer charities, and now he has completed his fantastic journey you can donate to his cause here – we just did.

Many thanks – and congratulations once again to Josh.
