I didn’t think we were that bad today. OK first 15 minutes was woeful defending then Utd had NO shots on goal until 55 minutes! That’s a mass improvement baring in mind they had 6-7 in the first 15. I find us frustrating to watch, even when we create chances we miss them. The just outside the box shooting is bad, we had maybe 4-5 good chances to hit the target and all went over or wide.

Defence is not good enough, atleast central defence. I was shocked young Ferguson started, maybe thrown into the deep end against Utd I would have preferred Santon left and Anita right back.

Williamson should be back up of a back up, Perch is versatile and personally I think his best position is centre midfield.

Harper is finished, too slow and old for me he is no Brad Friedel who looks sharp, fast and aware.

Ba and Cisse finishing was poor but sometimes u just have to accept that.

Overall Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Santon and Jonas can hold their heads high. Tiote not far off!

Common guys stop throwing insults. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. For the record I agree with Darren…we were totally useless.

Jonas, Ben Arfa and Santon all played well.

I personally think Jonas was the pick of the bunch though. Never stopped working.

as for the next game well put it this way a loss to the is where the exploding point will start fully because this break should be enough time to allowcolo and hopfully saylor and krul to return and considering how poor the scums are agressively we should surely win that if we don’t then i will have had enough and evedence will be clear that pardew has changed from a winning games manager to a drawing games manager.

We have been poor this season, but I do a predictor at work and we have more points than I though we would have at this stage. We have to accept our squad, first 11 quality and after that its average, young and upcoming or poor.

Our team is stronger than last season, just not as fit or lucky with injuries. We had about 11-12 games into last season with the same team every week. We hve already had Krul, Simpson, Taylorx2, Tiote, Cabaye, Elliot, Ameobix2 injured this season.

Before anyone judges the team we should support them, and wait and see how we do up to Christmas when our true stand can be seen or estimated from what we have played. Until then support them!

our league has been mediocre at best with 2/7 wins 3/7 draw n 2/7 losses. beat by chelsea n man u when we shd be chalenging em instead of rolling over lik a yellow belly mutt. struggled against norwich. drawn by relegationists villa n reading. we shdnt be in dis state whr we are short on 1st team players in e 1st place when we shd have invested in june july aug. pardew shd hav stop 442 long ago n no tactic nous n motivation skills. ferguson is overrated. look at him contribute noting today. jonas contributes nothing. cisse is really a dud beneath and willo shd never hav been ere in e 1st place. we will lose our other games if we continue lik dis, then lose our league standings, then our hope of europe, our top players lik hba anf cabaye, and be relegated even b4 the 8 yrs are up. PARDEW OUT.

oh and ed stop doing best player polls when we perform lik $$$$ bcos tere isnt a best player to vote for

Gutierrez man of the match for his sheer work rate, versatility and never say die attitude.
I have never understood the grief that he gets off some people ?!
Jonas gets slaughtered for his apparent lack of end product and hardly ever praised for his teamwork and overall contribution to the shirt but the same people applaud Perch and other “squad players”
Buy 2 quality International defenders and we will have a real team to challenge for a top 5 position.
