Newcastle Reported Interested In African Striker

There are reports that Newcastle have been tracking Anderlecht striker Dieumerci Mbokani, the DR Congo International, and other clubs thought to be interested in the 26 year-old include Everton and of course Sunderland.

Dieumerci Mbokani – 26 year-old Anderlecht striker

Newcastle only have three proven strikers on their books, and for top clubs at least four strikers is the norm, but whether Newcastle will try to bring in Mbokani in January or next summer, we don’t know.

Mbokani was brought in from Monaco a year last summer to replace Romelu Lukaku,. who joined Chelsea and is now on a season long loan deal at West Brom.

Mbokani has a decent goals record at Anderlecht and in 30 games has scored 15 goals for the side, but of course how he would perform at the highest levels in the English Premier League is an open question.

And the player is right on the edge of being too old for Newcastle as he turns 27 in November, and Newcastle’s three strikers are all currently 26 or older, so on age alone, Dieumerci may not be a wise signing, and we would expect Newcastle to bring in a younger player, if they are to fortify the squad in January or next summer.

He has played 16 times for the DR Congo with 6 goals and was born in Kinshasa, Zaire (now called DR Congo).

We’re not sure this lad would be a good signing for the club.

I think I actually preferred it when dorty Des kept his pearls of wisdom to himself haha

I didn’t really want to know about his colour coded method of team ratings

I bet Pardew starts the day with a double whiskey

I wonder if they sit the players at lunch according to the ”colour chart”

Colo krul tiote etc all sit at the grand dining hall

And sammy and the younger lads all huddle round the microwave taking turns to make micro pizza’s

Tiote, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Cabaye, Bigi, Santon……there’s 6 players no-one really heard of unless you were a freak like me who scoured the football manager system hours on end or FIFA 10/11/12 looking for decent up and coming players with little financial outlay, but gave good rewards in the game(sounds like Carr maybe lol) but I trust there are other gems to be found, albeit harder because of our success, but if we can keep things tight (dragovic mentioned the other day btw is mint on Fifa lol) then we’ll no doubt be bringing out a purple strip to compliment the purple players lol

The cheek of Llambs Arse !

Reading stories all over the place about Cutting down on Transfers? A colour-coded Policy as far as regards the First 11 does,nt interest me in the slightest !

Would be interesting to look at; say the last Five years and get an insight into how many Millions have been incoming and more importantly how many Millions have been given Out !
I can bet that their are more Ins than Outs, and, to tell you the truth what goes on on the Park is more Important!
Don,t get me wrong, Ashley has reportedly baled us out as far as regards debt and maybe there is a cunning Plan?
    ( Baldrick )!

I am all for spending wisely, and getting the right players in! But until the club has every Position covered with two Top Class A team players, then we will have the same problems if someone gets crocked like we have had so far this year !

With Injuries to Krul,Cabaye,Raylor.Tiote and Saylor, a 10 year old kid could see where the problems are! There have also been developments with the youth, and i think we,ve done well to achieve the mid-table position we are now in! But what now?

We get this Idiot spouting off about cutting down on Transfers
I would of been happier if he,d kept his Gob shut about the Finances because i think basically the likes of Fat Ash and Derick are now only out to make as much Money as they can get ! Do they really think that the clubs supporters are that Naive? Maybe a lot are, i don,t know!

And then came Wonga~! The much talked about and, in some quarters hated Sponsorship Deal for Shirt and Stadium naming rights. The gritty details of this deal hav,nt been published or bantered around in the national Press . Only Negative Press!
Why on earth is there so much fuss about the Religuious effect this deal could have on our Muslim Players. This all really goes to show just what sort of tainted attitude the Media have in relation to NUFC !

How much Money have Fat Ash and Llambs Arse made on this Deal? We,ll probably never get to know!
But with such a blinkered Mentality to Transfer Dealings, we will i think never ever reach the Heady heights again of a top four Finnish or lift another Major Domestic Title !

    I am Frustrated!

Don’t you think comparing Lamearse to a 10 year-old kid is just a bit unfair on the 10-year old kid??

Just because we don’t understand, comprehend the Deadly Dekka school of Football Economics – doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a cunning plan!!!!!

i dont see the obsession in signing only young players? you need players that know and have learnt their game and are at their peak also

Moderate striker but only proven in the lower leagues. He also has very bad attitude towards other players and coaches. Hardly played and score goals at Monace nor Wolfsburg. Only proven in Belgian league as one of the better strikers with Anderlecht and Standard Liege. Don’t think he would be a great buy
