St. James’ Park Forever – Signs Back

Workman have now completed putting the signs back on the stadium and we have St. James’ Park again – not that it went anywhere.

St. James’ Park signs back at St. James’ Park

The name was only changed for about a year, before common sense and tradition prevailed, and the St. James’ Park name was restored.

Wonga have bought the naming rights for a four year period, and decided to rename the stadium St. James’ Park and not Wonga Stadium, Wonga Park or anything Wonga, which would have been a travesty.

It’s a good day today that we have St. James’ Park back.

Howay The Lads!!

Nice to see it back. I know there is mixed opinions on whether it should have gone, has ever been gone or the reasons for it, however, it is back (see above) – let’s enjoy it. HWTL

It doesn’t matter what Wonga have decided…
It will always be The Sports Direct Arena to me. 🙂

Pity about BandB.. some real good points and a good way with words….must have missed the post where he/she decided to call it a day. Probably a reincarnation of another old blogger. Hopefully to return with a new moniker but just as spiky.
Anyone wondering what Beattie25 posts as these days ?

It’s towards the end a few threads back. Kind of came out of nowhere (as far as I can see).

tads….I’m not buying it. Good poster, picked some odd disagreements imo and what an odd sign off.

Sounds like an old poster testing the waters, but I would have to jump down of my fence to make such an accusation, something I just wont do.

tads….Indeed. Although, I do seem to remember BandB posting a while back, but not as a frequent poster. Not sure what or if that changes anything. Oh well, not going to spend my evening discussing this one. We have….oh wait, maybe this is the best topic. Congratulation BandB 😉

use of smileys or the general
idea of my match report? 😀

MFH @9 Beattie25 still reads the blog because he posted an RIP to Jimmymagpie which I thought was really decent of him.

Martoon….He did indeed and it was very decent of him. Doesn’t mean he hasn’t made any other posts using a different name – not that I think you are Beatrice (P.S. I miss you).

    Jesper…Girly usage of smileys….sickening stuff.
