Some Good News – This Youngster Played Well At Old Trafford

Not only did we lose a close game at Manchester United on Wednesday and now have lost seven of our last nine league games, but we have lost another two players from the game – with Vurnon Anita being carried of on a stretcher and mike Williamson picking up his fifth yellow card and therefore will miss the game at Arsenal on Saturday.

Gael Bigirimana – played well yesterday

But one bright spot that has gone a little unnoticed, was the good play of 19 year-old Gael Bigirimana, who played for 65 minutes before being replaced by Gabby Obertan and he looked a good player in the white-hot atmosphere of Old Trafford.

Alan Pardew talked about the former Coventry City central midfielder:

“He’ll get a lot of experience from that. I’m not sure where we were when he came off – he gave a good account of himself.” “He’ll learn from that. He did some really good things.”

Gael has done well since he joined us for £1M from Coventry City in the summer, and he has already played 17 times for Newcastle with one terrific goal, and he could see more action at the Emirates on Saturday.

And Vurnon Anita has also come good after joining us in the summer from Ajax, and Vurnon has played 22 times for Newcastle with one great goal, so that both players brought in during the summer seem to have been excellent acquisitions – but we just didn’t bring in enough players to mount a challenge in Europe, as well as in the Premier League.

We are now paying dearly for that oversight by the Newcastle Board.

People saying about our defence, Pardew can only work with what he has, and willo Is a shower of shite, his positional sense is bad, see manure’s last goal, simmo ain’t much better, average at best, Colo has to babysit willo which effects his game, Santon is better going forward than defending, we need major surgery to our back 4, we scored 3 goals hit the woodwork twice at old Trafford withoit our creative players Ben arfa and Cabaye, the defense let us down, not Pardew!

He held himself up well, but he was slightly anonomys i thought, not a foot wrong tho and didn’t look a liability. Perch, Anita and Marv ran the midfield show.

Streete travelled with the squad yesterday, great to see AC on the bench. I think they’ll both get a run out soon, but it won’t be in this run.

Catchy,Im sure most of us would like to see a better manager in place but what you have to get into your head is that under a man who has given him an eight year contract Pards is going nowhere in a hurry, the only thing that might hasten his departure is a relegation and if that’s what you wish in pursuit of your objective then you really need to take a look at yourself and ask if you really are a fan.

    See, now that is logic.
Catchy says what he means but never thinks about it.

I understand why Catchy want us to lose, because he hate AP and his style. The only way to get rid of AP is when MA hit the panic button. Panic button will be hit if we keep losing games and in 17-20 place in the table.

Why are we so happy with the performance yesterday?. The “great entertainers” lost yet another 4-3. WE led 3 times & still couldn’t close it out. Willo suspension no great loss. Wouldn’t mind if he never played again, he was 3 yards from Hernandez. We won’t win at the Arse anyway. Squad not strong enough. Seems like MA will sell Ba & Simmo & at best buy Remy & Debuchy. How will that strengthen the squad? We must add to it & get 2 quality centre backs & a strong centre mid as we will be without Tiote & Cabaye for whole of January and now possibly Anita. Sell Gosling, Amafiliano, Ranger, Abeid & Obertan as they are never going to make the grade (look for “buyers” in Div 1) Saylor & Bennie are injury prone & rarely available so a bonus when fit & Ba & Cisse can’t play together. Give Simmo a new contract because we will find no better cover & sell Tiote if we get bid of £10M +. He misses too many games thro suspension & has made far too many mistakes this season. Play Shola at CB on Saturday. That should bring some lively comments.

Must play young Fergie against Arsenal to provide service to Cisse & Ba . Will have to move either Simmo or Santon to CB. Bigi will certainly have to play alongside Perchino with Marvaux & He who falls over wide. 442. Needs to be injury free game for Everton at Home

Team against Arsenal will be a Europa League sort of side
    Krul(out of form)
Simpson Perch Coloccini(out of form) Santon
    Bigi Tiote
    Marveaux
    Cisse Ba Obertan

    Bench
    Harper
    Tavenier
    Ferguson
    Amalfitano
    Abeid
    Sammy
    Shola

With Cabaye Anita Gosling R.Taylor Gutierrez S.Taylor Vuckic all injured and Williamson suspended. that is 8 missing players and all but Vuckic and Gosling would be at least on the bench.
Bring Loic Remy, Mathieu Debuchy, and Kouygate. Bring in Sissoko and Douglas on pre-contacts.

Bigi may end up as our ‘new’ Tiote, in DM but he needs to learn his trade from Cab and Anita and could hardly have 2 better mentors to understudy to learn how to play in midfield. The little dutchman was excellent again and I hope he’ll be fit again soon.

Catchy is vermin whose posts are ludicrous, without logic and he has no place on this board making pointless and uninformed arguments.
