Ed, I don’t think anyone want to see the highlights

    I hate fighting for relegation
I hate that this happens to us.
I hate Mike Ashley cause he bought 0 defenders and 0 first team players last summer.
I hate that as a NUFC supporter I have to go through this over and over and over.
I hate the fact we didnt get bought by some Arabic consortium and we can purchase players.

  • 5 Big Pappa Cissé // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:34 PM

Pardew is setting records for all the wrong reasons this season.

  • 6 niafron // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:34 PM

    Bonne soirée messieurs.

  • 7 roshan MAGPIE // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:34 PM

I think ba is embarrassed enough to leave the club

  • 8 Twatter // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:34 PM

Tiote was awful all game. Really really awful. As for Simpson? Get a replacement in and get rid.

I feel sorry for Krul, Ba and Marveaux more than anything. They’ve tried their hardest these past two games and put in a decent shift but there’s only so much you can do.

All in all, we shouldn’t score 3 both at Old Trafford and Emirates without getting at least draws.

Pathetic defensive display, not one redeeming quality to any of the back four tonight.

  • 9 Santon03 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:35 PM

    gorgonzola

even if barca was managed by pardew the results will be the same, relegation battle

  • 10 Indian Magpie // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:35 PM

At 3-3 Pardew said No more Goals. guess what we conceded 4 more

  • 11 ochytoon // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:36 PM

Hypothetically, if Ashley sold up, do you think we could tempt Keegan back into management? Would anyone here want him?

  • 12 Spuggy // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:36 PM

Am I the only one still heartened by the 70 display with a second string mf and perch in defence.

With marv and Anita coming good add Cabaye and HBA and a couple of good defenders and I’m optimistic about the 2nd half of the season.

However I still think Cisse should be up front with demba behind or on the left in a three with Cabaye and HBA.

  • 13 nimo // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:37 PM

think someone told simmo hes out before the game

  • 14 Novocastrian66 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:37 PM

Jasper. I confess it was me. I was of course taking the piss as he did all evening.

  • 15 Santon03 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:37 PM

    pardew really make me sick

  • 16 WWYCD // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:38 PM

    ochytoon
    NO! :)

    Spuggy
Yes and no, I agree we played 2 of the best in the league with a ruined squad and we werent out classed but our dropping off late on in games is worrying though shipping 3 LATE goals to a team who had a lot longer to rest and prepare for us isnt too out of the blue

  • 17 Big Pappa Cissé // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:38 PM

I hope Danny Simpson reads this. Get out of my club you absolute useless footballer. He would struggle to get into my local pub team let alone a premier league club but Pardew persists with him for some reason.

  • 18 euanpolo // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:38 PM

What the hell have they been doing in training this week?! Did they learn nothing from the Man Utd match? Our defending desperately needs work on because it’s not just individuals we’re defending badly as a team.

  • 19 JackButler // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:38 PM

Putting Cisse on the wing almost puts us down to 10 men before a ball is even kicked, the throw Simpson into the mix and what chance do we have. And can someone please tell me whats happened to Tiote? he’s gone from world beater to championship standard

  • 20 North Atlantic Magpie // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:38 PM

Everything fell apart when Birigimana was taken of the pitch. Stupid decision by Pardew.

  • 21 Twatter // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:38 PM

    @Spuggy

The defence was awful all game, you’re really clutching at straws if you think it’s a hopeful display to give away 3 goals as cheap as that in the first 70 minutes. Either way it’s irrelevant because we’ve conceded 7, yes, 7 – altogether.

  • 22 Santon03 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:39 PM

what kind of excuses will pardew come up now?

  • 23 TurkishFan101 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:39 PM

@Foxworth dont even think you wacthed the match, he was holding fingera up with numbers saying 1 up top that being cisse for the first time up front. Every midfielder and was ordered to stay back and help the defence even the commentator said that. I am not spreading so dont contradict something without witnessing it cause obviously you didnt watch it.

  • 24 wreker16 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:39 PM

If u score 3 goals u should win. Simples. Defence was shocking as was cisse.

    Good players: marveaux obertan
Mixed players: krul tiote bigi ba
    Bad players: the rest

  • 25 Foxworth // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:39 PM

    Santon was awful, Tiote poor.

    No highlights for me.

Wish Santa just brought us 3 points. Instead of 3 goals the last two matches.

Depressed but proud of the lads. Not the Fullbacks & Tiote mind.

We’ll HAMMER Everton 6-2 and all will be well again :-D

  • 26 spitfire_ // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:40 PM

Very Happy New Year from Pardew… and the next SEVEN also.

Was last season just a dream and am I just waking up to the same old Nufc. I love the club but supporting them is getting harder and harder and its just not fair

  • 29 gonufc (up and Hatem) // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:40 PM

Need to buy in January. Badly.

Wenger needs to stop cheating the fixture list.
2 years in a row now to get out of playing on boxing day. No wonder we looked far more tired than them in the last 15!

  • 30 Novocastrian66 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:41 PM

    Big Pappa Cissé
    Dec 29 – 7:38 PM
Pardew persists with him because we have no-one else. That’s the biggest shame of that shambles.

  • 31 Santon03 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:41 PM

the players were looking dejected when they were 4-3 down, especially Santon and Colo

  • 32 wreker16 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:41 PM

  • 35 Spreadthetoon // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:42 PM

I’ve stuck by AP, but quite frankly I am disgusted that we have conceded 11 goals in 2 games….that’s not good enough. If we have a similar result against Everton then I think it’ll be time for change……sorry but I am too upset with this to even go into it….SHOCKING!!

  • 36 Spuggy // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:42 PM

Twatter – that’s why I said we needed defenders which we can get in jan.

  • 37 ochytoon // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:42 PM

Plus his return would suit us, everything would be going alright and then he could quit on us…. again and f shit up.

  • 38 ONLINE GUY // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:42 PM

When Shola came on I felt bad about it ..we were attaking ..ball to Shola ..totally backward’s when a break was on he went the other way ..no momentum ..he Is Shit really. PArdew took of a midfielder for him ..after that Arsenal just danced through us . Shola is a joke of a footballer..forget the occasional goal..he’s an embarrassment .. Also our defence is so nice ..we need someone nasty at center back x 2 !

How arsenal got a game called off over Christmas smacks of David Dein days at the FA.

Arsenal bung the FA every year by paying for the England youth teams ..they pay for everything . Did you know that ?

  • 39 JackButler // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:42 PM

No no no no no! I love KK for his time with us and the fact he brought us to the big stage but that was then this is now, football moved on and KK got old, tired and fell out of love with football. He is happy picking up wages talking about football and mouthing off about MA and I am happy for him but not again do I wish to see the man in charge of NUFC again

  • 41 Marvealloux // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:43 PM

Once again a disgrace, marveaux was the only positive. He deserves his place in the first team, even when cabaye and ben arfa get back.

  • 42 thebionicMAG // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:43 PM

I hear you mate…me too. I also hate living down here in London and having to take stick off Man U & Chelsea fans everywhere.

    Always look on the bright….. …… ……

    Ok, I’ll leave.

  • 44 Earl // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:44 PM

The only people to blame for this is the players on the pitch (minus Ba and Marveux) Not Pardew. You could see after we leveled at 3-3 that he was pulling his hair out, he just cudn’t fathom the chaos of our back four!. If i was in his position I would been saying exactly the same thing! they were Spineless, Nervous, not up for the fight. Every single goal was a mistake by us. I cant believe i’m saying this but Santon was the worst player on the pitch. showed absolutely nothing. was at fault for half of the goals conceeded. gutless.

  • 45 yorkymag // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:44 PM

    Really is a bad situation
Need to keep with the team however hard
Some awful performances but tiotie was by far the worst no effort no fight ,supposed to be a leader
Me think he on his way and not just to African nations
Was marv injured if not turnip head has lost the plot

  • 59 Spuggy // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:50 PM

What a bunch of whiners on this site. Grow same balls.

It was a great display for the most part with a knackered team who have played a few days ago against a fresh arsenal team.

Yes we have defensive weaknesses we all know that. It isn’t pards fault we didn’t sign debuchy or douglas etc he was as disappointed as anyone. We ran out of steam at 73 mins due to our efforts against Manu. We have a threadbare team with no one to being on.

Some people on here need to grow up.

  • 60 magpie6699 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:50 PM

Hey at least we’re getting our tag as “The Entertainers” back ( in a court jester / laughing stock sort of way. )
To be slightly fair – I think Boxing day may have taken something out of us for the last part of the game whereas Arsenal have had time to recuperate. But how many games and points have we lost in the last 10-15 minutes this season? Something not right there.

  • 61 phizzyJ // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:50 PM

I am inches away from not wanting to e a football fan anymore. I can’t stand by every week and watch a team I love get worse and worse. Alongside Man U fans who support the team because of their success and yet think they can comment on our misfortune. The fact is is that we could have bought numerous players on the back of last season but we didn’t do anything on the transfer window, this time, even if Ashley chooses to buy players, no one will want to come to us an everyone worth anything will be begging their agents to leave us. After my 25 years of support nothing changes and I have had enough of it. Glory supporters can f**k off. It’s easy to support the likes of Chelsea and man city and Man U, and then ridicule the real supporters who try their best to remain strong for their club.

  • 62 GAZ09 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:50 PM

I think its all part of a plan, Play crap resulting in Pardew sacked then no new manager until february, meaning no time to buy new players. that way the FAT man doesn’t spend a penny!

  • 63 DanToon // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:51 PM

pls someone tell me a way to come out of this depression..i am full of agonies and sorrows,NUFC
not good at the moment..but what is the solution..?

  • 67 catchy in norway // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

i think you pardew fans are missing the point here

we know what team we have, and we know the injuries, the problem didnt start at man u, the problem started the first game of the season, he played very defensivly with our first choice team, we could and should have won more games than we have villa 1-1 swansea 0-2 reading 2-2 west ham 0-1
these games where our points, home games against teams you have to win
playing defensivly against these teams has cost us now,

i find it strange why he goes defensively against poor team or teams he should beat, and the against man u and arsenal go out on the attack.. its madness,, and even more mad to play a high line against wollcot,,

sorry the damage was done weeks ago,, it hasnt happend over night

  • 68 Nufc-83 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

The only positive from this is surely it will force ashley to spend and bring in new defenders.

  • 69 bambams // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

could not have happened at a worse time with the window coming up…….Would you sign when there will be clubs further up the premier league and with ambitious owners

The most surprising issue was how poor Krul played, not like him.

End of the day boys its only a game (keep trying to tell myself)

  • 70 Toonacious T // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

Right, I am off to drown my sorrows seeing as no OV boys have the balls to come on here and argue their sustainable growth model boll@cks, go and fill in an imaginery spreadsheet and seek solace in our balanced books and then jump up and down and clap as all our best players leave for clubs with ambition. Disgusted, enough is enough with this bellend MA.

  • 71 WWYCD // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

Hard to disagree…though ur going to get hammered for saying it

  • 72 magpie6699 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

I think I can remember losses of 7-2 to Manure, 8-1 to West Ham and a 6-2 defeat at home to Manure when Sir Bobby was in charge. So this can happen. If we can get a couple of wins the world will be a happier place.

  • 73 beefman13 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:52 PM

That right there is AP`S, idea of our best first choice defense minus saylor, it is bloody horrific, Derek lambias has to pull heaven and earth to get extra faces in, if we dont i will start to turn on the regime i have supported for three years under extreme pressure at times.

For some reason i can see jail for ashley sitting with a little grin on his silly face at the moment, i think he is that sort.

  • 74 ONLINE GUY // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:53 PM

Do Any of you think that Pardew will resign ?

And if he does who would you want to replace him ?

Whoever that might be you can bet it will be a poor excuse for a manager if Ashley goes down that path ..It will be a yes man.

Ashley uses this club to advertise that shop of his …He has no ambition for Newcastle United ..non at all.

New Manager ?..It’s got to be the special one ..dream on Online.

  • 75 Ketsbaia9 // Dec 29, 2012 at 7:54 PM

Simpson must be secretly putting his pork sword up Pardew’s dump box. I’d rather go with Gutierrez or Gosling at right back than him. I’d take £500k for him in Jan. We must get rid.

Like Pardew said, if one player leaves, 2 must be brought in.

If we are looking to sign 3 and Simpson leaves, we need to make 5 signings, so these players are required:

    Alderewerield
    Debuchy
    Sakho
    Sissoko
    Remy

Not whiners spuggy – just realists. We are so weak
defensively and every other team knows it! This problem should have been addressed but it is now out
of control. A managers job is to move Hell and High
Water to get the players and cover he needs, if the
funds are not forthcoming then he has to swallow his
pride and move on to a team who WILL back him.
