Who Was Newcastle’s Best Player In 2-0 Loss At Brighton?

brighton fc

Let us know who you think was Newcastle’s best player in what was simply a dreadful performance by a fringe Newcastle eleven this afternoon, and to make things worse – Shola Ameobi was sent off in the second off when he picked up his second yellow card – as things seem to be falling apart at Newcastle and Alan Pardew will need to turn things around very quickly – we are in a big mess at the moment – make no mistake about that.

    Yo…with all due respect Pardew could probably buy a whole new team and it would probably not change that much…

    It was a long journey down, and the temperature here is very different to Tyneside, with it being nearer France it also had an influence on certain players who haven’t yet adapted to the new year, which is always a problem, but we showed – in patches – what we are capable of and what the fans need to remember is we didn’t drop any points today which I think the lads can feel proud about….

    We need 14 new players. Pardew should’ve risked keeping Abeid on. He didn’t deserve to get booked in the first place. Anita was poor today. Marveaux is the only decent player we have. Ranger did a lot better than Shola. Sammi and Obertan are pathetic.

    Williamson was at fault for both goals.

    There really are times when no one wants to see a ‘Who was the best player?’ poll.

    And now is that time.

    ” yeah it was a poor resuwt but make no bones about we ain’t ‘ad fuwl team out for awhile now, we’ve been honest and the players they was tired, we’ve had a difficult run, we’ve lost an important player and got one over the line we’ve got a couple of big players coming back who need to step up to the plate, make no bones about it we need to start applying ourselves a bit more “

    Brighton fans singing can we play you every week at the final whistle just sums up how bad we are those saying the cup is not important are right but the performance is and that was shocking the team looked like they were not interested from the first whistle so pardew clearly can’t motivate them the starting 11 he started was a joke

    Ed i think you have to be a bit more careful here. There are times when your ‘Who was the best player?’ can get a lot annoying. people here might start cussing heavily here!
    Coming to the performance of the players, what can i say? pardew hang your head in shame you bas**rd. what sort of team did you put out, worst again the hoofball tactics. I mean i cant believe you can be so daft and stupid.
    and the donkey brothers i mean wtf were they doing on the field. Ranger made more impact in his 20 mins than the useful servant of nufc made in the whole match.
    This -vety is gng to spread like wildfire and we are in for a doom.
    This is what pardew should have done. fielded a stronger team or at least played a more attacking passing game. Instead the hoofball, i mean wtf is wrong this bas***d.
    I’m just getting used of this shit being played.
    and the poor nufc supporters, travelling 700 miles to watch this shit being played. Watching on tele itself was frustrating cant imagine what they’re feeling now.
    God save NUFC.

    Whether you want a manager change or not, now really isn’t the right time. It’s time for us to get behind the team 90 minutes of every game; the loudest home and away crowd in the league, we need to dig out of this, i for one dont want to be heading to brighton for a league game next season, and then deal with it in the summer if required.

    i didnt really care if we won, lost or darw,this game the only thing i wanted to see is newcaslte play good football but sadly that 90 mins was just bad football but the worst thing about that game for me is Sammy and Abeid there were nothing in that whole game.

    but on a brighter note we can buy player now and focus on the PL and Euro game and like i said playing good football is what i wanted to see in that game weather newcaslte won, lost or darw.

    Fantasy sequence of events for us would be;
    Pardew out, Roberto Martinez or Di Matteo in
    Mike Ashley, Lee Charnley and Derek Llambias out
    They couldnt care less about the fans and thats why Pardews job is safe, any other manager winning two games out of 16 would be out.. simples. Ive never jumped on pardews back and always shook my head when other people gave out about him, i wanted him to have a chance. I accepted our awful football last year because we were winning, why sign technical players and then play like stoke and irelands love child? Its rotten. We have a good ball playin side and we are hoofin it and it wont stop.
    Ins;
    Remy, or Belhanda.
    Sakho, Alderwield or Yanga Mbiwa

    Pre contracts for summer;
    Moussa Sissokho
    Miralim Sulijmani

    Sell simpson this window, and willo out in the summer.

    .. Havent posted in months, theres the thoughts all spilled out haha

    @NUFC, not good enough in the slightest! The squad needs investment, without hesitation. We need one immediate CB and one in the summer when colo goes, a midfielder capable of passing the ball forward, as well as cover for Cabs, a left winger and two strikers. Sammy, and abs need to be loaned out. And Ranger needs to be sold.

    This is not a wish list, but what is, in my opinion, vital to servive.

    KETS STFU!
    Abeid was crap, he always has been. Not one of those players played well today. I’m going to vote to Elliot because he made a couple of good saves, not even outstanding. But the rest of the group shokd take a look at themselves.
    Williamson at fault for both goals. Obertan the laziest player ever. Shola just a donkey. Sammi crap.

    The really worrying thing was that a number of so called “Up & Coming players” were given a chance to show they deserved a place at NUFC – not one of them took that chance.

    There wasnt a single “Stand-out” player and that is disgracefull. Apart from Bigi and Anita the rest should be shown the door as soon as the season ends. Rubbish. no pride or endeavour whatsoever.

    Absolutely disgusting performance
    £8million for anita he is too small and might as well not be on the pitch .He has a decent touch but his distribution is shite and to me way too weak for th PL.Saying that he was our best today so what does that say for the rest of the crock of shite we had on the pitch .Santon was ran ragged by lower league players we were outfought outplayed in every department .Pardew on Tv saying that the sending off was the difference is he totally deluded

    We don’t need players, we need a manager who can and will get 11players to play as a team. He and his coaches are are not up to the job. He has never manage that and never will.
