a baptism of fire for our new boys!!

well done the toon, great first half, messy second but credit where its due, you got the result, not many other teams will play the way AVFC played in the second half, they were on fire

  • 2 robertlee7 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:29 PM

Sissoko is the man! First post on here…can’t believe the negativity…this win is going to keep us up :)

  • 3 Toon1978 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:31 PM

We got 3 points. Some are never happy. Rather then looking at a half empty glass, look at the half full glass.

  • 4 Beattie25 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Chelsea and Spurs next, massive games.

We cannot be lulled into a false security that we are safe.

We need 2-6 points from the next 2 IMO.

Oh and we need a LW!!!!!!!!!!!

    An news on Obertan?

  • 5 toon1707 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:32 PM

Swear to god I aged 10 years watching that 2nd half and my fingers have no nails left but well done lads for hanging on. Where are all the people before the game saying we will get beaten team was wrong pardew needs sacked. The only negative of the whole game was guti unfortunately he was terrible tonight and could have cost us a few goals on another night

  • 6 Peter Beardsley // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:32 PM

    Coloccini peut baiser ma femme!!

    (Pardon my French!!)

  • 7 valle // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:32 PM

Debuchy would have been my motm had he not conceded a penalty (A soft one though)… Still cannot understand pards tactics at times, why did Jonas start? He is a whirling mess of arms and legs all over the place.

  • 8 Black and White with an army lol // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:32 PM

good result could of been better though second half, pardew once again made the worst subs by bringing on Ameobi and even starting jonas even though Marv and Anita we on the bench, and i still say Pardew is not the man for the job to keep us up.

  • 9 Toon Tang // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:33 PM

MASSIVE respect and big ups to all the traveling toon army who’ve traveled all over the country and watched majority shit performances . this win is dedicated to you diamonds .

this would be my tweet if i were on twatter and was a toon player

  • 10 Hencha Boii // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:33 PM

What’s with the negativity..? Get behind the team ffs!! Aye pards decisions can be baffling but he’s here to stay so accept it or do one! And whoever said cisse is lazy is a moron, ran his socks off!!! Good game lads bring on Chelsea!!!

  • 11 nick_9 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:33 PM

    Chelsea at home
    Spurs away

Not really sure how many points to expect. Realistically two draws would be decent results but we need more.

  • 12 gorgonzola ( former Pecorino former to gorgonzola) // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:34 PM

For me Mbiwa possibly should have started. Even ahead of Saylor but not as a CDM sub…at that time…

Sissoko signing that is absolutely immense…

Cant wait to HBA…and please Dont get him injured he will be crucial for us…

Pardew made no brain mistakes…ppl defending him now should have their head examined just as Remy does….

I am afraid we will lose to Chelksi if his tactics are employed again.

Chelksi team shoudl read but it wont..

    Debuchy Mbiwa Colo Santon
    Anita Sissoko
    Obertan(HBA if fit)Cisse Gouffran

We desperately need a RW LW or preferaly one that could llay both… and a CF THEN we will be sorted I really cant wait to see HBA….

  • 13 Black and White with an army lol // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:35 PM

    Hencha Boii

we are behind the team 100%, but not behind Pardew.

  • 14 Spreadthetoon // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:35 PM

Well I am delighted with our first AWAY win and 3 pts. Anyone not pleased with that needs their head examined.

I thought the 1st half of the game was excellent with Sissoko impressing and Grouffran creating spaces and placing lots of runs. We passed the ball well and dominated that 1st half away from home.

2nd half Agbonglahor came on and his pace gave Debuchy and others difficulties. They played almost 4 upfront and pressed high up on us and the early conceded penalty gave them belief. Jonas did an amazing line clearance but sadly his best days are behind him….he is at best a Defensive midfielder but he offers nothing offensively. Krul was my MOM as he made several spectacular saves. Sadly we did not come out the blocks the 2nd half, Villa were extremely physical and IMO they could have had at least 2 of their players sent off.
It was a good introduction to the premiership for Gouffran and Sissoko. They will get better and so will the team, I was encouraged that we held onto a win.
Those criticizing AP is understandable concerning his subs and where he played players…..such as Mapou as a defensive midfielder was an appalling decision. But if you looked at the bench and I did mention this before…….there was not a single game changer on that bench, despite our new signings. Ameobi’s offer v. little offensively and Anita was for me the only ray of sunshine as a potentially offensive player.
Its disappointing that we cannot play a decent 90 mins, but the team and the squad will be relieved to have got the win. They will have gained a lot of confidence from that, as that was a real dog fight.
I definitely think having seen tonight that we definitely need to sign a winger/ striker in the remaining window! Anyway a win is a win HWTL!

  • 15 Hencha Boii // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:36 PM

But he’s here to stay, so for now just accept and stop breading negativity IMO.

  • 16 Black and White with an army lol // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:36 PM

we need a LW, striker and a new manager.

  • 17 croftus5678 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:36 PM

was never a penno so not holding that against deb’s

  • 18 Graeme // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:37 PM

Sholla has now, hopefully played his last game for toon; Jonas is no longer a starting player.

That there is talent in the squad now is just not in doubt, but to bring on Bambi instead of talent is not the way to win footy matches – with the possible exception of the scum!!

It was one hell of a battle; at times more like a war than a footy game – we got the 3 points and, all in all, we deserved the 3 points, but in the 2nd half Villa pushed us all the way.

  • 19 JARRAMAG // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:37 PM

    Great 3 points

    Pardue has to go

    He is totally lost

I dont care what anyone says but for Jonas to last the whole match or even get on the pitch should be enough to sack Pardue

To bring on Ameobi and put Cisse on the right wing should be enough to sack him

He is the 1 and only problem that is holding back NUFC on the pitch as he is totally clueless

We will only survive due to the greatness of the likes of Cabaye,Ben Arfa,Krull,Sissoko and Cisse and nothing to the coaching of the idiot Pardue -He should be sacked now and a top class coach replacement in

  • 20 ToonDownSouth // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:37 PM

Biggest positive for me is one that no one has mentioned.

From what Id heard from footballing experts like Kevin Phillips and Paul Ince, the Frenchmen were a bunch of baguette wielding pansies and wouldn’t be up for a fight.

Well to me they looked plenty up for it! Debuchy, Cabaye, Sissoko and Gouffran were battling their guts out tonight, and weren’t shying away from anything, and spent the whole second half scrapping for our survival.

  • 21 will.dawg // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:39 PM

I think if we drew or lost that game, we’d be focusing on that second half performance. But come on lads, we won, looks at the positives, we were sick in the first half! Exciting stuff!

  • 22 TorqToon // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:40 PM

Miggy – I’m sure we all are mate! But we won…and some people on here clearly expected us to walk off 6-nil up.

It simply wasn’t going to happen. A massive game for both clubs.

Pards substitutions – gonna open myself up here…but I don’t feel they were that terrible. Perch was brought off for ameobi to switch the midfield about slightly and try and get more conposed legs on the ball, Gouffran ran his socks off and was tiring (winter break) and as for Mbiwa playing DCM – that’s nothing new to him. Yes it’s not preferred positions – but I can see the reasoning. Villa pushed everybody forward so there was next to no space to get the ball down and passed. A lightning quick CF (Gouffran fully fit) would’ve been ideal on a counter attack.

Instantly when villa scored the negativity spread again – seems like some on here would’ve preferred we LOSE so they can make their point about Pards!

Robby – Spot on! At 2-1 up he put on an extra striker and moved a more composed ball playing midfield back instead of perch…

Now Pards is too positive?!?!? Jesus…

  • 23 yo-yo // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:40 PM

The big pluses tonight were that Cabs is getting back to his best but is still short of match fitness and Sissoko and Gouffy are going to be real good for us . Especially impressed with Gouffy who is better than I thought he’d be. Sissoko is just a star.
Mapou had to play on his back foot but again will be class.
Once we get a settled starting 11, are fit for 95 mins, and gain a bit more confidence we will be fine.

  • 24 nick_9 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:40 PM

Sissoko looks about 7ft on the tv, big physical man. Hopefully marveaux and obertan will be back for Chelsea.

  • 25 SuperShearer // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:40 PM

People calling for AP’s head should take a good hard look at that first half we played. Slick, pass and move football. We dominated them. Yes the 2nd half was poor but Villa had nothing to lose.

  • 26 Black and White with an army lol // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:40 PM

  • 27 gfp13 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:41 PM

I feel perch was favoured over Anita as he is a bit stronger in the tackle so I’m unsure as to whether we will ever see Anita, sissoko and cabaye all starting together, that is unless he plays sissoko as the deep midfielder and cabaye further forward

  • 28 nick_9 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:41 PM

TDS – Debuchy is well up for if, since he has been here a few of his tackles I thought were bookings but they went unnoticed. I don’t think we have seen the best of him yet though.

  • 29 gorgonzola ( former Pecorino former to gorgonzola) // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:43 PM

sorry caps…I just cant take it…:(

  • 30 psutty80 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:43 PM

too much negativity on here after such a massive game tonight.
It was our first away win all season, you could tell that in the second half massively, we were so nervous all the way through, the subs were to be desired, but in the end it worked (dont know how).
Massive, Massive 3 points tonight, that will give the whole squad confidence not only for the next game but for our next away game.
Sissoko was awesome, Cabaye and Taylor still coming back to match sharpness.
    Bring on Chelsea, HWTL

  • 32 Toon-Prodigy // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:44 PM

    Stuart No9,

I am looking at the bigger picture mate.

This was a very difficult game to get anything out of. Before the game I’d actually settled myself for a point. Nevermind Villa, we have been down and out all season, no result away from home, players coming back, new players under pressure to perform. Rock bottom confridence and morale and we dug it out. They showed balls tonight.

We had a great start, excellent first half. Obviously Villa were not going to roll over with the expectations of the game. Then they got their goal, the game was always going to be a struggle from then on due to nerves.

The fact is we won tonight. And that was a monumental performance and result considering the circumstances and pressure that came with it.

I think some people expect us to play like Barca. The only time some people stop winging on here is if we put a performance in like Barca and Pardew gets absolutely everything correct with his decisions?

People really need to make up their minds if they are either a supporter or not for me. I see very little actual support from some posters on here. Some of it is cringe worthy.

  • 33 RonVanDam // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:45 PM

    From Previous post

Yes we did win. The reason everyone’s complaining is simple. We have a team filled with 8+ internationals, it doesn’t matter if Siassoko and Mbiwa isnt used to PL. They have played are Pro footballers who should adapt quickly and have played for their country (more physical then PL? some games maybe)

We have a Manager who makes clueless decisions, how often have we seen our team go to sleep in the second half or go into defensive mode, senseless substitution and first team line up. 90% of the bloggers here can see Jonas isnt cutting it anymore, shola – dont get me started.

Team is stacked with quality players, we need a manager who understands how to use them properly – Pardew doesnt know how to do that.

By the way Villa were dirty fcuking cnuts tonight.

There is fighting for a cause and there is kicking, stamping and fouling to unsettle the opposition.

Agbonglahor dived for the penalty and the dirty little brummy tw@ts deserve to go down.

glad to see everyone happy with a MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE result but obviously the first half had nothing to do with pardew and the second half was all pardews fault hey!!!!!!!!!???
do any nof you’s realise there was a second team playing i.e villa??
AT HOME – we embarressed them in the first half
they brought on two very attacking players at half time and put us on the back foot plus us well under confidence on the road
oh and who would you’s have put on instead of guti??????
i thought sammi wasn’t good enough and should be sold
i suppose mbwia should be sold now coz he gave the ball away and hoofed it!!
some of you’s get wound up totally forgetting that there’s another team involved that are after the exact same thing!!
for me that was a great and massive win and massive highlights in sissoko n gouff n cisse (he’s learnt the offside rule!)
debuchy should know better in that situation!
lets guess though its all pardews fault for the WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 41 munkeyboy // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:48 PM

Just watched the highlights again after watching it the pub. No wonder Pardew was thanking Guti at the end – the goaline clearance near the end of the match was 2 points saved. Agree, he was bobbins for the majority of the game but would have one of his more attacking replacements been in that position? Torn between his work rate and tracking back, and his inability to create anything going forward (and sideways some of the time!)….Why not Guti at RB, Santon LW? Guti good positionally, rubbish going forward/ Santon dangerous up front, not so great defending?….

  • 42 Magpie from Lithuania // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:48 PM

Zero good wingers in the team ATM, so against chelsea, i would go with hard working, and attacking team, full of midfield control and passing. The best team plausible with the players we have: 3-3-2-2 or 3-5-2 (attacking) and 5-3-2 or 5-4-1 (goufran coming back, would lead cabaye in the middle and up the pitch while in counter attack, goufran sissoko on the RAM and LAM and sisse ST, in counter attack cabaye is the perfect man to pass the ball for Clear Cut Chance on goal. and with three options he will chosse the right one)

  • 43 Marzy // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:48 PM

3 points which we so desperately needed! Great 45 minutes but tactics all wrong for the second half! Subs where used incorrectly to, Shola in my honest opinion did nothing but defend in our half, when he was up top he never held the ball which we so desperately needed him too. Jonas was poor all match, he just looks so leggy at the moment! Perchino looked quality at times & certainly didn’t deserve to come off & especially not to be replaced by Shola. Taylor’s return was ok & Gouffran looked good at times, particularly his hold up play was quality!!.
Great 3 points but do question Pardews tactics!!

Also I am very disappointing in how Anita is not being utilized properly.

The lad is the best at calming taking the ball and playing out of defense.

Yeah Perch played well but I think with Anita playing in that first half we could’ve been 3-4 up.

Madness to some of you perhaps but logical to me.

  • 46 toonLYF // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:50 PM

if Villa go down i’m gonna travel down to Birmingham, stand outside Vanilla Park and grief the sh*t out of the dirty cnuts.

As has been said, there’s fighting for a cause, and just being dirty and unprofessional, they were certainly the latter.

Really had enough of all bad press on pardew best I’ve seen 1st half 2nd half gabbyand wieman came on defo soft pen yet our heads could have dropped like reading but we held on a huge 3 points and I fancy getting a result against Chelsea sat as thy are not at there best winning breeds confidence but all I hear is negative on Jonas and pards and people say we r the best fans !!!

  • 51 Ketsbaia9 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:53 PM

Anita should’ve started instead of Perch. Anita is faster and better on the ball. I hope Marveaux isn’t badly injured. We would’ve won by 3 clear goals today if Marveaux, Mbiwa and Anita started. We desperately need Wilfried Bony or Mauro Zarate at the club.

  • 52 Big Pappa Cissé // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:54 PM

Very happy with the result but we made it so much harder for ourselves. Why does Pardew always seem to change tactics that get us playing well and normally a goal or two ahead ?. Its like a switch goes of inside his head and says “go ultra defensive” even though it rarely works. We would have comfortably won 3-0 or 3-1 if we just kepst playing the way we were FFS. Fair enough Villa were going to come out strong for the first 15 minutes of the second half but we should have just passed around them and frustrated them rather than giving them back possession by lumping balls up for Shola.

    Team for Chelsea

But we all know Gutierrez will get the nod so what is the point.

  • 53 manxpie // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:54 PM

  • 55 soundoid // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:54 PM

Anyone on here think we missed perchino when he was taken off. He’s a really underated player. Never going to set the world on fire but solid DM Well worthy of his selection.

I’ll say this again but pards needs to work on the guys fitness.

  • 56 TorqToon // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:55 PM

Manx – Thank GOD somebody else saw that! The players were the reason we played so well first half – yet Pards was the reason we played so poorly second half!?!

I don’t actually think we were that bad 2nd half – just up against it from a gritty villa side with nothing to lose, and a ref who pretty much have us nothing! The swan dive for the pen made it look a lot worse – yes slight contact so letter of the law states it was possibly a correct call – but it was orchestrated to look so much worse.

Then all of a sudden we are flooded with ‘new bloggers’ who stayed to bitch until full time – then left again!

Frustrates the hell out of me!! Once Sissoko, Gouffran and Mbiwa are all bedded in, cab’s is back to his very best (not far off) and we STILL have HBA to come back….wow!

Today was a MASSIVE win and a great result!

  • 59 croftus5678 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:57 PM

when shola comes on it means we are tryiing to kill the game tbh shola does a hell of a lot defensively i personally think he should have been a defender from the start of his career.
we do desperatly lack a striker who can come on and brighten up a front line like villa did with benteke and bent either of those 2 would be a great addition to us.

  • 60 ToonDownSouth // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:57 PM

Yeah, I do hope Debs doesn’t start to get a Tiote like reputation, and hence a mandatory booking regardless of how deserving. There’ve been a few tackles which could only be described as ‘tasty’.

The only thing he’s missing for me is pace – I don’t think Debuchy really lacks it, but it’s more a case of him being aware of his opposite number. Today Agbonglahor’s pace really shocked him at first, as he clearly wasn’t expecting it. However it should be the coaching team and the other players jobs to make him aware.

Enjoyed watching him get forward and link with Jonas & Gouffran today.

  • 61 TorqToon // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:57 PM

Soundoid – I agree. He played very well today – but can see why the change was made to try and add a bit more ‘footballing’ ability the the midfield. No offence to perchy – he played very well!

  • 62 Spreadthetoon // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:57 PM

A good hard earned 3 pts against a very physical Villa who IMO did not deserve to finish with all 11 on the field.
People complain about the 2nd half but Villa played high pressure with 4players upfront. Gouffran has just come from winter break so would not be at his absolute sharpest. I do not know why Obertan was not on the bench as a cameo from him would have worked wonders on a counter attack. We had no outlet and people need to remember no HBA, no Marveaux and no Obertan. All 3 of these players are highly counter attacking offensive players that AP did not have at his disposal. I said before the start of the match that we did not have any game changers offensively on the bench other than possibly Anita. The Ameobi bros don’t cut it for me – IMO.

Agreed, we defo need a winger/ striker that was painfully obvious.

  • 63 psutty80 // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:58 PM

i missed the first half, but many of you are right, who could have we brought on?
There are no game changers on there.. perhaps marveaux, but he got injured. our new lads were a bit leggy and did need to come off ready for the chelsea game.
Mbwia on for perch was the strange sub.. But we got 3 POINTS AWAY FROM HOME!!
This was a big game, if we had lost we would be in the sh*t, a win and more vitally a confidence boost!!

Now the next 48 hours will be interesting to see if we bring another one in.

  • 64 northernirishtoon // Jan 29, 2013 at 10:58 PM

It would of been stupid to bring mbwia on in central defence given he situation. We were being slaughtered

Mbwia has played CDM before. I think he even played it against arsenal in the champions league so it’s not as bad as some people are making out

Only negative for me is the guti situation. Completely lost the head in the second half

I am disturbed but not surprised at the lack of objectivity and basic knowledge of what goes on in a football game on this blog during and just after match time. Great First half poor second half bad tactics blah blah its pathetic sometimes.

If we had kept the team as it was second half we would have lost by a couple of goals no doubt about it. As it was, digging in was only just adopted in time to save us from a determined side putting in a last-ditch effort to stay in the league with all their forward guns going, and stamps and hacks flying in.

What must have been our most experimental side ultimately pulled off what we have not done this season – a win. Tactics for each half not desired but ultimately right. Watch more football and do less moaning.

A win is a win gets the monkey of our back so to speak yeah they poor 2nd half but we got the points and can take something positive into the chelski game. lads won’t ben arfa just come into the lw instead of jonas? Tiote for perch? Also if villa go down I would take Clarke as a young 3/4 choice cb and benteke to replace shola

I really should leave this blog because I get so wound up reading all this negativity.

Someone mentioned earlier that Pardew isn’t to thank for our great first half but he’s all to blame for our 2nd half???? Absolutely ridiculous, get a grip with yourselves.

I personally thought it was a good performance, good line up, good formation, good tactics, good subs.

Players are extremely low on confidence so giving away that early pen clearly knocked them but we did well to hold out.

    Huge win

TDS @ 20 – That is a very good point there lad. Doubt we will see many games more physical than that. Maybe Stoke, lol. Still not convinced by AP I am sorry to say and that might mean that we could go down to the wire. Jonas must have witnessed Pards doing something extremely compromising as I can’t for the life of me understand how he gets 90 mins tonight. At times he was actually embarassing. Maybe he will get a rest against Chelski. Lets hope so. In game flexibility is defo a prob for Pards and he just about got away with it tonight. Tbf, Villa threw everything at it in the second half. Sissoko looks a real player and I thought Debuchey was really up for the fight tonight. Cabaye’s goal was top class and more than anything else, I am delighted for all the long suffering Toon family on here, at the ground and around the world. We finally have an away win and some semblance of hope for the immediate future.HWTL!

STILL MOST OF YOU have yet to realize that Marveaux was INJURED and couldn’t even make the bench FFS!

Some real clowns up here tonight I am off!

Great first half, nail biting second but I am happy and behind the team AND the manager!

Spread – Nice to see somebody else speaking sense.

Looking at the latest posts – I think it’s only realists left who can see the game for what it is, and not just using a tough 45mins to scream PARDEW OUT blah blah blah

  • 72 manxpie // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:04 PM

    torqtoon exactly
i think there’s still people on here who expect fast attacking free flowing football i.e barcelona after the season we’ve had !!

  • 78 Krul to be Kind // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:14 PM

this was my first in game blog haha

it gets intense(!!!) folk always fear the worst, in reality we were 2 1 up 20 mins to go they changed from taking on the wings to lumping it into the box and i thought our lads done admirably, felt with the personell on and the changes that were made we could deal with that all day long, with our heavies on… villa dont play nice, never have

  • 79 Krul to be Kind // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:17 PM

we torchured them so bad in the first half they were always gonna bite, they couldnt have got muchh worse, folk leaving the game in the first half, they had to react… they were inspired, no coach in the world could envisage that 2nd half villa turn out

  • 80 Munster Mag // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:29 PM

Cant say I was impressed with that second half. Villa were excellent, and credit there, but it concerns me that we had absoltely zero control of the ball in the second half. Strangely Anita looked shattered by the end ( maybe he had been injured ??) but i cant see why Pardews substitutions were praiseworthy. Mbiwa has played defensive midfield ( think he did against arsenal ? ) but if that is anything to go by, it wont work for us. When Colo goes, we need to find a tall dominant centre half to partner Mbiwa. why can Pardews teams this season not produce two decent halves?? We were lucky to get 3 points – Krul was MOM.

  • 81 Munster Mag // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:32 PM

Gotta say, was hugely impressed with Sissoko, and Gouffran looks a tidy player. A sort of Obertan with confidence and brains.

  • 82 gonufc (not Arf' bad) // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:33 PM

Only seen highlights but I’m damn impressed with Sissoko, his passing was fantastic, both through balls and pinging one touch passes he looks an absolute gem.

Thought he’d be largely a keep it simple powerhouse but he looks to have serious class as well.

  • 83 Blaydon-Toon // Jan 29, 2013 at 11:59 PM

Well great result is the all important issue and the fact we have bedded in some of the new Frenchies ! Was impressed with both Sissoko and Gouffran but my MOTM was Krul with some crucial saves and commanding his area and last but not least his distribution was nearly always short ! Have seen enough to feel confident to pull away from the relegation scrap ….. Next two games will be tough but the pressure is slightly less as we are playing two sides who we will do well to get a point apiece from ! Also thought Taylor was decent for his first game back which bodes well for the future and Colo was solid so overall I’m happy ! ant wait to get HBA in that side as I really think some team will get a hiding from us if everyone is on song !

  • 84 ONLINE GUY // Jan 30, 2013 at 2:18 AM

Do any of you guy’s realise just how hard it is out there on the pitch ?

The only people on this blog with a semblance of understanding of the game ..Yo Yo..and Torq Town, ..there are a few more to an extent to be fair… Sorry if I miss a few names out.. but , but .. A lot of you are reactionary and let your heart rule,..I understand that as I have done it myself…

Saying that .. when it comes to Pardew’s tactic’s he is trying to stay one unpredictable step in front of his opponent’s ..This will upset a few ..but take a backseat and put your self in Pardew’s position ..BTW he seem’s to have aged 5 years in 5 month’s ! poor guy ! He’s only like you and me you know? just human and wants the best for Newcastle and uz fans.

I know exactly what He’s been going through.

My Dad Would have been proud ..proud ! of uz in the first half mind .. we looked like world beater’s amazing first half performance ..Total football

One thing we do need right now just as important as players on the pitch a new Coach with fresh Ideas ..I love Carver and Stone ..And they always give good structured advice and idea’s that are set in stone ..scuse me ‘ ..npi…. A new coach will freshen thing’s up and give another dimension to our play and hopefully our play in the last 15 min’s of any game , as right now we are going to pieces in that final period ..its nerve racking to watch ..It seems to have crept in recently and we are loosing games because of a collective nervousness that seems to gather pace in the final 15 min’s

I do get the feeling or the inkling that the many overseas player’s we have …don’t feel they are playing at home, when we are at home,! as they don’t feel at home. So ..So ..Let’s see how that goes ..

Remember Pardew’s tactic’s last season with HBA , Cisse And Ba in a 4-3-3 hitting teams on the break ? we have lost that from our game .. Villa was a good place to use that system …But hey! ..We won .. vital !
