Comment #81Gotta say, was hugely impressed with Sissoko, and Gouffran looks a tidy player. A sort of Obertan with confidence and brains.

Comment #82Only seen highlights but I’m damn impressed with Sissoko, his passing was fantastic, both through balls and pinging one touch passes he looks an absolute gem.
Thought he’d be largely a keep it simple powerhouse but he looks to have serious class as well.

Comment #83Well great result is the all important issue and the fact we have bedded in some of the new Frenchies ! Was impressed with both Sissoko and Gouffran but my MOTM was Krul with some crucial saves and commanding his area and last but not least his distribution was nearly always short ! Have seen enough to feel confident to pull away from the relegation scrap ….. Next two games will be tough but the pressure is slightly less as we are playing two sides who we will do well to get a point apiece from ! Also thought Taylor was decent for his first game back which bodes well for the future and Colo was solid so overall I’m happy ! ant wait to get HBA in that side as I really think some team will get a hiding from us if everyone is on song !

Comment #84Do any of you guy’s realise just how hard it is out there on the pitch ?
The only people on this blog with a semblance of understanding of the game ..Yo Yo..and Torq Town, ..there are a few more to an extent to be fair… Sorry if I miss a few names out.. but , but .. A lot of you are reactionary and let your heart rule,..I understand that as I have done it myself…
Saying that .. when it comes to Pardew’s tactic’s he is trying to stay one unpredictable step in front of his opponent’s ..This will upset a few ..but take a backseat and put your self in Pardew’s position ..BTW he seem’s to have aged 5 years in 5 month’s ! poor guy ! He’s only like you and me you know? just human and wants the best for Newcastle and uz fans.
I know exactly what He’s been going through.
My Dad Would have been proud ..proud ! of uz in the first half mind .. we looked like world beater’s amazing first half performance ..Total football
One thing we do need right now just as important as players on the pitch ..is a new Coach with fresh Ideas ..I love Carver and Stone ..And they always give good structured advice and idea’s that are set in stone ..scuse me ‘ ..npi…. A new coach will freshen thing’s up and give another dimension to our play and hopefully our play in the last 15 min’s of any game , as right now we are going to pieces in that final period ..its nerve racking to watch ..It seems to have crept in recently and we are loosing games because of a collective nervousness that seems to gather pace in the final 15 min’s
I do get the feeling or the inkling that the many overseas player’s we have …don’t feel they are playing at home, when we are at home,! as they don’t feel at home. So ..So ..Let’s see how that goes ..
Remember Pardew’s tactic’s last season with HBA , Cisse And Ba in a 4-3-3 hitting teams on the break ? we have lost that from our game .. Villa was a good place to use that system …But hey! ..We won .. vital !
