I think the blame for this lies with Alan Pardew and his team selection / tactics
    Sissoko did OK

Santon. Absolutely world class going forward. A greater attacking threat than Debuchy. World class performance. If he can shore up his defensive aspect of the game, he’s going to be 1 of the best full backs in the world. What a gem we got here.

Sissoko. 2 lung bursting runs 1 that resulted in the goal via Gouffran. He’s on a 1 man mission to spark our revival. If any player need a kick up the rear, just make them watch the run from Sisokko. That’s truly a powerful run. He has an engine that never stops. We look a completely different outfit already with him in the team.

And boy what a strike that was for the winner. Man of the moment. Moussa Sisokko. Probably the best central midfielder in the league at the moment.

If I think too much about the performance, the result, the team spirit, the price we’ve paid for these new players, getting one over on the oil baron and the outlook for the rest of the season, I think I’ll explode!

ive slated santon a lot recently but i watched him closely today and he was excellent, the whole team was.

a good sign that we can win even with cisse out of form, his pass to gouffran for our second should be noted though, and at least he is getting in the right positions.

It seems we now have something thats been missing for a long time, strength in depth.

to think mbiwa one of if not the best cb in france, and marv and anita our two best players of recent games were on the bench, the futures bright.

bit of persepctive tho kets, we are a long way of title contenders LOL

    Well lads,

Great win for us. Best performance of the season.

Looked hairy but the difference was we saw a reaction.

Not a player I can complain against.

    2 negatives though

Cisse needs to be coached on positioning and build some strength. His technique is brilliant but he is way to easy to defend against because he never gets the right side of his man. Never challenges for balls properly.

Tim Krul should try playing out of the back more. Hoofed balls invite more attacks when Shola is not there to win them.

    Our passing today was class.

Sissoko was knackered but he fought til the end.

The unity of the team was brilliant and showed after we took the lead again.

Gouffran is brilliant, very supportive, plays a noce pass.

    For those stat men:

Cabaye, Debuchy were our 2 most influential players followed by Moussa.

Santon played a hand in both goals.

Cabaye had insane passing stats about 85% i think.

Colo, Santon, Taylor and Perch had insane interception stats.

Cant really fault too much for 2 very good chelsea goals.

Ed, you made a mistake : Moussa Sissoko comes from Toulouse and not Touolouse.
    And another mistake : the transfer fee is £20M not £2M…Excuse me ? You’re saying I’m wrong, it is just £2M ?? What a f**king bargain !!!

I just think S.Taylor made the different. Our defender seem so much more solid than when we got our Williamson. A team that win the game is a team got a better defender, isn’t this?

Gouffran played brilliantly created and opened up spaces, Cisse on a better day could have had a brace, Cabaye was the powerhouse of midfield, Marv was excellent when he came on, Perch was solid, our defense was strong and Sissoko….what can I say I’m speechless!

Pardew out! Chelsea were not full strength. Some other tosh was a mitigating factor too. Burn your season tickets. Boycott the games! Hang on – we won this time? Ha I always knew Pardew was a genius…..:)

And so it came to pass that Tsunki had his first spot on prediction of 3-2. And Jonas scores.

All hail the Tsunki! It was all my doing ha ha

    1. Sissoko, – 2 Goals + all round amazing performance.

    2. Santon – Two assist’s, troubled Ivanovic. One of his best performances

    3. Gouffran – Unsung hero. Brilliant work ethic, set up 1 goal with a blitzing run. Looks like a good buy.

    4. Saylor – Any man willing to put their crown jewels infront of a rocket, deserves to be praised on their courage alone. That and he had a solid performance, won most of the crosses that came in.

    5. Guti – Crosses into the box aside, he had one of his better performances today, got a goal.

Where the players who stood out the most for me today.
