The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #42i think in the first half Spurs were getting worried even AVB was looking worried because they thought they would play us all over the pitch but we showed them

if only collo was switched on he could have not given away the freekick which led to the first goal
if only perch had done his job in the wall and jumped half an inch or atleast got on his toes he would have deflected the ball over for the first goal.
if only collo had concentrated on the 3rd goal he would have cleared it
(reasoning behind collo blame on 3rd is: taylor was holding back the player directly behind and if he had made the tackle the player directly behind him would have scored and bale was definatly more to collo’s side with saylor clearly indicating it was collo’s ball)
goofy was awsome though in honesty i liked what ginola said when he says goofy is lethal as a central striker and that he would like him to play there.

Comment #46spuggy- i am blaming pards for not having the balls to go for the win instead of playing for the draw. which is exactly what he done , watch the game again and you will see that . pardew – not the team – pardew got what he deseved,

Comment #49If Gouffran isn’t too badly injured, I’d like to see him placed CF replacing Cisse, then putting Arfa and Marveaux on the wings, both alternating between Sissoko in the no. 10 role.

Comment #52We all know our weakness against fast counterattacks and that is Bale and Lennon in spades. Yes Colo is slow but imo he misread the ball more and got caught out. Misunderstanding with Saylor and you lose a goal at this level.
So lets hope Mbiwa has the pace we are short of. He’ll get a runout midweek at last. If Colo goes then Mbiwa may well be an upgrade next season.

Comment #53Marveaux and Gouffran are different types of players. Marveaux is fantastic with the ball and is also great at running at players.

Comment #54Jeff, love it: so many bites. Played well today, lacked a bit of cutting edge which is why we’ll need another striker in the summer. No disgrace today though!

Comment #56Cisse’s attitude seems very poor.
Have to say the intermittent goals he scores have done little to boost his confidence. What’s strange is his passing and ball control is top class right now, but his positioning and finishing are just awful.
Did anyone see the chance Sissoko and Cisse had? Cisse did nothing but get in Moussa’s way!

Comment #57Well before the Chelsea and Spurs game I would have been delighted with two draws and therefore 2 points on the board (even last season i would have been so especially given this year’s poor show) so to take 3 points from the two games and also show some fight today makes me pretty happy. All depends how the next set of fixtures go as they are all ‘winnable’ on the day 🙂

Comment #58Thought it was a decent performance from all the players. Don’t really understand all this colo bashing that’s going on. I also think Cisse is growing in his no9 role. The only thing that has depressed me is gouffran’s injury – it just goes to show the lad’s quality that it feels like the team is seriously diminished without him, after only 3 games!

Worse than losing was losing Gouffy. He is looking real class already. And he is intelligent in interviews and says the right things. Could easily turn out to be in the Ba class imo.

Comment #60geordie mark – i want a manager with some balls to set up his team to win- noot to draw. if he had done that today , no doubt we would have won . spurs very mediocre today, were there for the taking in the 2nd half – but pards hasnt got the guts to go for it. so he – not the team – got what he deserved . and HE the biggest problem NUFC have at the minute.

Pards can’t win with the rsholes on here, ask them before the match what team he should pick and they would agree more or less with Pardue.
Now with their hindsight he was totally wrong and should have picked a completly different line up. I dispair when i read some of the gobshites on here.

so just a few points.
Good to see the pardew bashers arent out (yet).
Despite the scoreline, there was a lot of positives to come out from today.
6 points from these three games was better than I, and im sure most people were expecting. Spurs are a one man team if there ever was one, and when he joins La Liga in the summer spurs will struggle seriously.
Commentators were embarassing today, Niall Quinn should be sacked, and the presenter guy suggesting that there isnt a better player in the world should be shot.
Gouffran looked very very good before he went off, I hope its not serious.
Marveux looked incredibly poor. Based on this game, he has lost his place to Gouffran.
Krul
Debuchy (2 of Saylor, Colo, Mapou) Santon
2 of (Cabaye, Tiote, Perch, Anita)
HBA Sissoko (Gouffran/Marveux/Jonas)
Cisse
4231/433 This is our best team imo.

Comment #72@44 Couldn’t agree more if Perch had jumped at all it might have been a different story he stood rooted to the spot & watched the ball almost part his hair. All in all we did put in a decent performance, a vast improvement on what whent before
