Since Moussa Sissoko arrived on Newcastle just three weeks ago, he’s already built up a huge following among the Newcastle fans, and once again he was our Man of the Match on Thursday night against Metalist Kharkiv with 28% of the vote followed by Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, who was making his starting debut – on 20% and striker Papiss Cisse got 19% of the vote.

Moussa Sissoko – Man of the Match for the third time

That’s three times in his first four games for Newcastle that the Frenchman has been our Man of the Match – so that’s not a bad average and we hope he can keep it up – but this lad looks a great player with lots of strength, skill and energy – nad made to measure for the Premier League.

Here’s the results of the poll – and if you haven’t already voted you can still do so.

An immense player, with a huge future in the game. His best years are still in front of him – who knows what he can achieve.

A brilliant signing for us, no doubt about it

Did,nt get the chance to see any of the game ! But according to reports both dis-allowed goals should of counted!

This week-end is going to be really boring without a Newcastle game to keep me busy?

MYM will come out of hiding to be a real star. He has fantastic confidence when holding off attacking players, and unlike most of our defensive minded players, holds until he is sure of a good pass. A class act.

Sissoko was terrific – after the first half hour when he couldn’t pass couldn’t dribble and didn’t look as though he had the pace to run beyond any of their defenders. Just as well he woke up. Or am I wrong?
