Video Of McManaman Horror Tackle On Haidara

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Wigan Athletic v Newcastle United - DW Stadium

Haidara being stretchered off today at Wigan

Here is the terrible tackle from Wigan’s McManaman on Haidara – and this tackle didn’t even get a yellow card or a red card.

Here it is.

And here’s another look at it from another angle.

It seems he goes straight through the knee of Haidara.

You’re right, football is a different kind of game. But then i still think something needs to be done. Im not getting paid thousand of pounds to run the game of football and make the rules, so i dont really feel the need to think of a solution. But, by god, someone needs to do something. Its fascicle, BBC are the worst. They rarely do anything but talk about refereeing decisions on MOTD

Ed – not only did it not even get a yellow, it wasn’t even a foul! It’s an absolute joke, one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen.

Ref said he missed it, replay showed one of our players could have obstructed his view and I don’t like to see a ref guess for a red card so I understand this.

Glad he has acknowledged his mistake and apologised, least he can do really, but it means the FA can take action later.

However no idea how they missed the handball, the linesman basically bottled the decision as it was impossible to miss. Either he hasn’t got the courage to disallow a goal or he hasn’t got the vision to see a clear handball close to him. Either way he is not cut out to be a top level official and should be removed.

Mark Hasley must be suspended…. first one of the most horrible tackles of the season and not even a free kick… ppl laughed at him when he delivered yellow cards in rest of the game for “easy” challanges… simply horrible display by the ref – and he knows it.

… and top that with the clear hand ball at the end of the game… I bet Mark Hasley will not get much sleep tonight – he is out.

Seeing as it wasn’t given a foul or a yellow this means that the player can be punished severly as well as the ref?

It is a difficult one really. It’s not a sport that lends itself to tv replays.

Not sure how they will get goal line stuff in, will the game just carry on until the goal is given or not, or will it stop?

If it stops how does it restart if it isn’t a goal?

Not sure what you can do with tv replays.

I’d like to get refs fully professional not part time and make then a lot more accountable for decisions and fask track refs from lower down the football leagues if they show they are very good instead of making them move up slowly and keeping the same useless ones at the top.

And if linesmans want to be called assistant refs they need to start being braver and making big calls.

Some tackles you just don’t want to watch again and that was one of those. Going in to damage an oppo player does not make you a hard man it makes you a coward. Someday I hope you get a bad bad injury lad.

yes…as the ref also said he missed it and not that it was a good tackle the FA will look into it.

    NUFCarter

did you see the replay on sky sports where they showed his view possibly being blocked for the foul? it look possible to miss it, not sure hoe neither linesman saw it like but can see why the ref possibly missed it.

Referees are protected far too much when they balls up. Which is virtually every game then they should be made to explain there reasons live on tv after a game. They should also be withdrawn for a week at least with no pay. Might make them grow a set of balls instead of been a bunch of homers

Halsey wasn’t even going to stop the match, despite Haidara’s clearly audible screams making it clear he was in trouble. Then he just strolled over to him slowly.

Whether or not he saw it, the safety of the players should be the referee’s #1 priority, and it was not.

As for Mcmanaman not showing the slightest interest in the players well-being, if I had the decision he’d get more than three games as it suggests intent.

Boyce had to grab him and tell him to go over to the stretcher!

Can’t go off the crowd reaction though.

And one of our players was in his way, not sure how much he blocked him off only he will know for sure…but did look like he was directly in the line between ref and foul,

Pardew, has to go the guy is clueless. No tactics he just muddles through. Wigan are terrible, so where does that leave us? Old Jonas, gets a start and the Captains armband and he’s as much use as Pardew!

This is because the REF said that ‘I’m Sorry, I did not saw it’

I cant believe that commentators can go on without even mention this incident. Its going to be hard for this young and LEFT FOOTED man again. It HARD to get one good Left Back.

Saying CUM Mc’woman is young and his 1st full debut is not going to help.

Be FAIR. Haidara is Young Lad as well, just come to England and still adapting to the country, places, club and people.

    YOUNG?????? Who is YOUNGER????

Haidara (FRENCH) 2 December 1992 (LEFT FOOTED, Promising football almost coming to be an international player)

Cum Mc’woman (English) (A DISGRACE and DISGUSTING THUG) (The rise of DE DONG continue with him..nick “the bone breaker II”)

A quality player is DESTROY by Cum Mc’woman now.. Good one! Good JOB. That’s the 1st step to your fame CUM.

This thug will feel the HEAT when he get one himself.
He might need one very soon.
