Ben Arfa Told To Shape Up In The Summer

News in the Sunday Mirror today that Newcastle were shocked when French International Hatem Ben Arfa attended his court hearing to do with an alleged speeding offense – and he was clearly overweight and looked bloated and unfit.

Hatem Ben Arfa – returned for court hearing  overweight

And since his hamstring injury will keep him out for the rest of the season, the Magpies have made it clear to the Frenchman that he must return for pre-season training in much better shape.

And it seems that Newcastle will now monitor both his weight and fitness in the close season.

Ben Arfa is currently in France having treatment on his hamstring, but he will need to report in periodically so the Magpies can ensure his weight and fitness are under control.

Poor journalism. Steven Taylor has put weight on – but got an England call up. It’s a physical league, but i bet he can still beat Enrique next season.

Benny is the most talented player we have, and knows it – I reckon he’s just demotovated from not playing.

However he could take a leaf out of Raylors book, the guy has done boxing training and to return from a November ACL injury in April is some true dedication.

What’s to say he is even demotivated? If he has had a hamstring problem he might not of been able to exercise at all. I’m sure he has been eating right because he has aspirations to be one of the best in the world. If anything it’s probably just down to wing out for so long, it’s poor journalism because he is pictures in what looks like a thick wool

Quick turn to 402 on sky for last seasons premier league highlights, reminisce

No biggie for a lightweight like benny boy. He’ll run it off in training.

Stevie Taylor on the other hand is one reet fat c@nt in the making, as far as I can tell. Arse two pick handles accross on match days as it is.

I genuinely fear for his missus’ future once that lump starts bearing down on her in the sack post playing days.

Well Ed I have two suggestions for the club when we are talking about Benny and shaping up!

…maybe after a EC they should not extend the vecation time so much for two certain players who shall be named nameless 😉

Cabs has not been matchfit and struggled all season because of this and Benny another pre-season which AP has been so vocal about.

…And another thing stop playing players too soon with hamstring problems or other serious problems!

Newcastle shape up! (that felt good :-))

Bony is going to West Ham it seems.. out of the 3 striker options we were discussing in Jan; looks like just PEA remains.
Haha remember it was me who first started the Benny is so fat in an old thread.. looks like NUFC top bosses got alerted from that post 🙂

TP @ 10 – Just beat me to it. The guys a complete buffoon if he thinks any of that poison makes any sense whatsoever.

I’m increasingly of the opinion that journo’s like this simply write sh*te just to generate controversy and ultimately web hits. Getting too angry about it probably only sends more visitors to him?

Interesting Fans views on their teams season so far and how it will pan out and the opposition and who will get the Championship league positions and who will be relegated.
12 of the 20 have put Sunderland in with QPR and Reading

It could only be for that reason, unless he is a very bitter individual who can’t stand the Toon. I’v seen some poor articles, but if thats for real, that tops the bill without doubt.

Your latest Ashley love-in would have worked better if you had said Longleat or similar. Windsor safari park closed years ago. It’s Legoland now.

Benny is my fav toon player, but he spends more time back home than playing for us, he`s another player who is injury prone, it seems he picks up injuries apart from the de jong tackle, very easily, so frustrating for all us fans, maybe this treatment he receives back home is not that clever after all, cabaye and debuchy back home at the moment as well, Colo cheering on san lorenzo at an away match like someone from the gallowgate corner, bleedin smokescreen this injured back carry on im starting to believe.

Where is your proof that Boney is going to West Ham?

It is reported in the Gelderlander newspaper in Holland today that Arnhem Vitesse have NOT had any offers for the player since the January window? Love to know where you get your info?

You should,nt believe everything you read in the Sun / Express / Mirror ! The only story that has broken about transfers thus far is the move for Robbie van Wolfswinkel to Norwich for 8,4 Mil , which is a bargain for Norwich?
