Are These Newcastle’s New Strips?

This picture is in The Mag today, and we wonder if they are the new strips Newcastle will start using next season?

new strips

Not sure if these away strips are genuine – any idea?

I think they look canny smart, do we have a black and white strip on show? Or just the 2nd and 3rd..

I like the color scheme, but the stripes could be better. Looks almost like a training or track shirt. At least they are keeping Wonga’s name small.

Not nearly enough yellow for my liking. The amount of photoshopping around these days I’d say probably fakes.

Also they look pretty tight fitting, are they sure they know their target market. I appear to have lost my six pack and ripped pecs since they invented Dominos.

Good point Grafton, lol. They do look nice though, apart from the logo. So, let’s hope for a draw vs. city. Surely they now know they’ve lost the PL title, unlike last year, when they won it through our defeat and we effectively lost CL football

The fake Ibiza has some similarities to fake Ruddy aka Ruddy Jiz, Joe Blog and Beardo 🙂

…never really understood the fun in this (is it an age thing or do you just have to be very childish to pull that off?)

Personally I think robin is the guy who posted as beardo and all the rest of them,he said something really funny the other day and the penny dropped.
On the strips anything has to be better than a high vis jacket or a mustard cream.
Seems like an absolute eternity since we played that Rugby team.

My guess is they are not going to be the finished versions for next season – if you go to Google images and type in NUFC kits 2013/14 there are at least 8 different images of the home shirt and another 2 away shirts different to the above!

I don’t know about robin(never talked to him – I stay clear of weirdos), but Beardo did admit to be both Jiz and Joe Blog…

…cannot remember his moniker previous to Beardo? Anyone?

Since we use our 2nd stripe almost as much as our home kit I would wish for once that we got something memorable and timeless and maybe stock with it for longer period (only the small changes each year)

…we have had some god awful kits the past decade or so. They don’t even scream Newcastle which is a shame.

    Cunning plan
Maybe we can wear them tomorrow. Their players might mistake ours for one of them

There are loads of occasions where we could use the black and white stripes but we have to market the away strip I’m not usually bothered what they look like as I never buy one and they only last a season my all time favourite was the all grey v neck in the early eighties.

I was really looking forward to the city game until that injustice last week and the fresh injury problems had we have beaten Wigan a loss tomorrow would have been taken on the chin as long as we played well now if it happens it’s probably going to plunge the blog into chaos and catchy rearing his ugly head.

Not the blue top, no way would wonga go with that as their logo’s barely discernable.

@ Grafton absolute class mate. Was thinking the same about the tight tops. Most fans would like a blamanche. In a condom
