Cisse totally has to go. Missed the return to Marv. Missed the one on one with Schwarz. And now, missed that chance from the corner. **** off Cisse. You’re not needed anymore. We need a new first choice striker.

Cisse is useless….how can you not score from there?

C’mon Pards are you daft? Cisse is the one who should go.

Cisse. He has all the attributes of a brilliant footballer, all except an ability to read the game

Cisse you twat when will you ever pass to Marveaux???

Cisse just doesn’t have a footballing brain.

    Are you trolling, toonbrother?

And while Cisse scored the winner again today, I was really impressed by Yanga-Mbiwa. Looked calm on the ball, quick to react and decent in the air as well. He’s a bit like a young Colo, but not quite as classy on the ball.

There’s nothing wrong with people criticising Cisse – he cost us a goal earlier on when he didn’t pass to Marveaux.

If Santon and Taylor as defenders can be held accountable for their individual mistakes – such as on Thursday – then forwards should too.

This is why Pardew is the right man for
the job. He may not be the
brightest, but he is so passionate! He
will learn and get better, he will learn
new tactics and overcome his short
    comings,why? Cuz he is passionate
about it and cares. I’ll rather have
pardew here, than a Laudrup who will
just use the club for a couple of years
    and go away!
Amd after what pardew just did, if
anyone on the blog wants him out, I
must say I feel sad for them. He is the
man for this job, he will get us success

I love Cisse, he is a great striker, an opportunist and despite his poor form (by his standards) and poor service this season he is still finding the net when it matters. I dont want to be that guy but and its a big but, he should have gave that ball back to marveux for a tap in in the first half, and there was another one on 84 minutes marveux had the acres of space and Cisse ave it back to Shola with two lads round him, Marveux gave out the first time but the second he just shook his head in disbelief. He is a great finisher and a great guy but he has the passing ability of a potato. Considering all our attacking play runs though him if he could feed people in aka like berba does he’d be a much better player. Had he found Marveux on those two occassions he would have saved us all injury time heart attacks and nervous breakdowns as we would have been 2-0 up. None the less, great goal, great win, delighted 😀

Cisse was dreadful for 90 minutes today but bloody hell he likes to be dramatic. Marveux made great runs today my motm for sure could of had a couple of tap-ins, tho the two CBs n Guti (looked like his old self) played well today. And of course yohan was class.

Cisse over the past month or two has scored almost in every game, with pretty poor service to be fair, I think its unfair to criticise him. All players make mistakes and all strikers go for glory at times.

    there’s criticism and there;s this:
**** off Cisse. You’re not needed anymore. We need a new first choice striker

Fans should be held accountable for shameful comments such as the above. Excellent performance today from all the players when you consider the amount of pressure we were under. Cisse was lively and dangerous throughout. Marveaux was brilliant.my motm

Sunderland beat by Chelsea, and now Wigan are playing a 10-men QPR.

Wigan bumping Sunderland into the relegation zone would be the icing on the cake 🙂

I really do feel that after today , all of us, should forget the pardew out concept and back him up with all our chips ! It’s time we get loyal to him and stop wanting him out after every little poor run! Let’s believe ! is that too much to ask ?

Feel sorry for santon held his hands up at the start, gets a standing ovation then….injured. I think it would have been his day.

I will post my musings later when my heartbeat is regular ha ha

Cisse’s a great finisher and is good off the ball but that’s about it really. He gets caught offside too often, his passing is pretty poor and he just doesn’t see better opportunities, like today when he should’ve squared to Marveaux when he was open in the box, and then later on when Marveaux again was in space but he didn’t see him and tried to give it to Shola and lost it.

He’s a good striker, but needs to improve his game in a few ways if he’s to be the one that’ll get us to the next level. Someone like Berbatov but younger would be perfect, someone who scores goals but also can spot and pick a pass and do more than just score. Some of Berbatov’s passes today were fantastic, he really is more than just a goal scorer. Obviously it wasn’t one of his better performances but I do think he’s a great player.

Cisse at the moment is just rushing everything and that is due to a lack of confidence. Hopefully he realizes now he’s bloody papis cisse n he’s gonna score anyway!

toonbrother great post but theres much much worse posts on here about the TEAM!!
i mean the people who couldn’t watch that game and was goin of here were saying its not sounding to good!
we were on top the whole game ffs we just couldn’t score they had 2 chances which i’d bet everything on every away team in the league gets that on the counter!
we deserved that from start to finish highlights were staylors skills back to the keeper the goal n pardews celebration!!

As disappointed as i was on thursday i didnt feel the urge to go on the blogs and lambast saylor or santon. Why? Because they are GREAT players and servants of this club just like Cisse . Now if the player in question is consistently shite i’d understand the abuse. Being a fan means recognizing our players are human. Not robots. Fans need cut them some slack every now and stop overreacting to every mistake,

Jonny – I thought Jonas had a really good game there, he basically played his normal wing position but a bit deeper. Defended quite well and got forward well too. Wouldn’t be surprised if Pardew starts him there in our next couple of games if Santon’s out.

    @Indian

    Hows you fella…

I do agree we all need to get behind Pards but at the same time he either needs to learn from this very poor season and change his style or bring in some new coaches to help get the best out of these players .

Fans will give him time once we have less injuries but it is not a good style of football that he has them playing.

Only time will tell if it’s because of all the injuries we have had which disrupts momentum or poor management.

He has the passion, there again so do we fans.

I am with you in relation to the hatred must stop and support the whole club.

    Enjoy your evening fella:-D
