An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

it doesn’t mean anything about the ammount of injuries over this or the last season wat does matter is to the caliber of players that are injured i.e the key players which i pointed out?
you only have to look at michu’s goals to see that he has been absolutly instrumental to swanseas season
just imagine if cisse was injured in his 1st game last season would we have finished 5th? no chance imo
and the same with swansea without michu they would be down with us infact imo would be in a worse position!
wats the difference with laudrop n pardew i’d say 5th place with a team that no1 would have expected and brought the best out of every player he had and then lets see wat laudrop does in his second season!

Oh and that M’bengue (no idea what his name is) was he at the game today? Heard some random fans on twitter saying that rumour was true and he had told them he was likely to join us come summer
On topic that goal was straight out of last seasons run of cisse screamers

That`s all here say without Michu i still think they would have done well and Laudrup has taken them up a level and won silverware to boot

can’t see us buying another lb 2 be honest unless ashley is buying 3 players for each position just to sell the best but that would never happen would it??

Simmos off come summer most likely so this lad coming in would give us 2 full LBs and move Santon to the RB rotated with Debuchy?

Comment #13Interesting to hear Papiss say that at half time Pardew showed him a video of when he could have slipped the ball to Marveaux. I can only imagine the hours of footage Pardew must have shown him in order to get him to stay onside! Still, when all is said and done, Papiss is an incurable shotaholic – bless him.

Course it is Graham could have played that position and had a blinder of a season or they could have bought someone in Jan.You have no idea what Laudrup would have done

gouffran marv hba

jonas at lb i know, but he is defensively solid and can support an attack. hes also stong and robust.
haidara would be a possibility

Comment #16Was a better watch today that’s for sure. Lovely to see Marveaux getting a run as I think he is a special player and very under rated. Anita and Goofy were very effective too and M’Biwa is something else.
I know we didn’t score till 93 minutes so had no time to sit on a 1-0 lead for most of the match as per. Still there was better passing and moving and one epic move which ended with Goofy playing the ball in to Cisse who could’t adjust his feet in time.
I know passion can’t mask a lot of tactical inefficiencies at times but it was great to see Pardew jumping in to the crowd.

Guti had a great game and looked far better going forward as a lb than a winger

Comment #18guti actually does everything santon should be aspiring to do, which is very ironic
should colo decide he actually wants to stay would like to see him and mbiwa as a partnership
his reading with mbiwas pace could be unbreachable
only worry is the aerial vulnerability it could bring

manxpie…you are welcome mate!
It is hard to judge Pardew on his 5th place athivement last season and this season’s disaster solely. I guess you. cannoot judge Laudrup one one good season.
I don’t think it is fair ask what Laudrup would do if Michu got injured; I often wonder what Man Utd or Liverpool would have done if RVP or Saurez were injured. Who knows?
You guess you can only judge a manager on how he does with what he has got. Pardew did well last season with what he got and he goot praise. He has not been worse off injurywise this season in my book and he has done not so well to say the least
Who knows how he’ll do next season? I honestly think some people put to much emphatize on injuries and feel a little bit too sorry for Pardew.
my point is we’ll see how he does next season and also your point that you seem to hold on to that we had as bad injuries last season and that other teams have the same injuries is rubbish every pundit, the manager n players has said we’ve had terrible injuries and i’d love you to tell me a team that has had worse injuries this season or even the same and i mean first team players??

Have to admit Colo and M’Biwa would be mouthwatering in class and skill. I never really think of Saylor as a natural footballer like those 2 although he has passion.

Comment #22Papiss is very frustrating – snatched at 2 chances in the first half when he had time to steady or pass – but last season they would probably have curled into the top corner and we’d have said how brilliant he was. He was also very unlucky with a late header which was heading down into the bottom corner only for Schwartzer to make a brilliant save. Funny cos’ I’d said to my mate that Cisse would score in the last minute and when Schwartzer made that save I said “well perhaps it’s still a bit early”!
Btw – I thought Jonas was immense – defensively and attacking and he gave his all. After one excellent run late on he was blowing like a steam kettle and looked totally knackered – but still made further runs afterwards.
PS Wasn’t Karagoonface a disgrace with his cheating?

Comment #26went to the match today and re-read all the comments on the game whilst it was being played. Honestly thought we were great today. As great as we could have been with all the injuries tbh….don’t know what some fans expect, we have more than half a first team squad injured and could have easily been 4 or 5 today….thank god for Cisse is all I can say!!! :D!!!!

the fact is laudrop is doin wat pardew did last season (but not as good) and if you believe jesper without the injuries
pardew deserves another season with his whole new squad all fit simple as that like!!

Comment #39toonarmydownsouth…thats interesting, I think if this is true alot of fans would stop slating him so much. This perhaps explains why Pardew loves Jonas so much too. I have to admit, I have been critical of him this season as lets face it, he’s not been great, but would defo eat my words if thats true…shows how much he cares when he’ll put his body on the line!
