We were watching the game yesterday between Liverpool and Chelsea, to check on how well the Reds were playing these days, since we play them next Saturday at home, where a win could see us safe in the Premier League for next season.
Suarez – after taking a bite out of Ivanovic
And if we can survive we expect next season to be like it was last season, and nothing else will be good enough, after what’s happened to us in the league this season.
In the second half we saw this guy Luis Suarez bite Branislav Ivanovic, and in the video replays it was obvious that what the Chelsea defender was telling the referee was true.
What a little brat.
And it wasn’t the first time he has done that, as we pointed out in the article we rushed out after the game – because this lad should now get least a seven match ban, and that’s his season over with.
Now first things first – what a god send that is for Newcastle. 😀
Suarez did the same thing when he was at Ajax, when he was seen on video to bite a PSV player Otman Bakkal’s shoulder in November, 2010, and while the referee waved play on at the time, he was given a 7 game ban after the game.
Now how many players have ever bitten a player?
This lad’s now done it twice, so this time we have to believe this player should get at least a nine or ten game ban, and it’s going to be interesting to see whether Liverpool even try to defend their best player.
This told us a few things yesterday about Suarez, most of which we already knew, and since we have certain guidelines on the language that can be used on this blog – we better leave it at that.
Suffice to say contnually brings very bad headlines to Liverpool – but it also told us that the Gods are on Newcastle’s side – they are with us – which was the main conclusion we reached yesterday. 😀
And probably with the advice of Liverpool, who will be trying to keep the ban to a minimum he tweeted this after the game:
“I’ve spoken to Ivanovic on the phone and I could apologise directly to him,” “Thanks for accepting.”
And just so the FA knows he’s really apologetic – but obviously not denying what he did (this time), he also issued a short statement:
“I apologize to my manager and everyone at Liverpool for letting them down.”
And her’s a video of it and the camera leaves Suarez just as his teeth are about to take a piece out of the Chelsea player – what was he thinking?

We’ve all had a terrible last eight days – but hey – a win against Liverpool is just what we need on Saturday – and their best player will not be playing.
We can do it.
Howay The Lads!!
