We should have a strong side out tomorrow, with hopefully Ben Arfa able to start on the right wing, and Fabricio Coloccini available, although the Argentine will probably start on the bench tomorrow.
Ben Arfa in action against Anzhi in Moscow
We are assuming Sylvain Marveaux is still not fit with that groin injury – which is a problem he’s had over the last couple of years, so we hope it’s not the same injury playing up again.
Cheick Tiote is back but of course Davide Santon is most likely out for the season with his hamstring injury.
Tim Krul is out with that dislocated shoulder and news today is that he may not even be fit for when the season starts up again in early July.
And Alan Pardew debunked the story about Papiss Cisse going to see a specialist in Paris about his rib injury, although the Evening Chronicle today still reporting that he is playing in pain because of the injury.
Here’s a possible starting eleven for tomorrow with the subs:
Debuchy Taylor (S) Yanga-Mbiwa Haidara
Ben Arfa Tiote Cabaye (c) Gutierrez
Subs: Harper Williamson Anita Perch Coloccini Campbell Ameobi (Sh)
That’s a fairly strong side, and there could be a surprise from Alan Pardew – that he starts Coloccini tomorrow – but in any case Steven Taylor and Yanga-Mbiwa will be wanting to pay well tomorrow, because they know Colo will be back next week at West Ham.
We need all 3 points – so we can start climbing that league table.
What’s your team for tomorrow?
Note – seems I missed Gouffran out of the side – whoops – maybe in place of Gutierrez?
