Newcastle Hammered 6-0 – Shameful Day On Tyneside

Liverpool_FC.svg

Newcastle lost this game by 6-0 and one of the heaviest defeats for a long long time, and it has to be one of the worst and inept performances given by a Newcastle side for many a long year, as the Liverpool side simply ripped Newcastle apart from the first whistle – and now we have only three games left at West Ham, QPR and home to Arsenal – and maybe the only win we could get is at QPR. This was a shameful performance from Newcastle. And our goal difference is now -23 – it was -19 when we were relegated four years ago.

But this will send huge alarm bells off in the corridors of power at Newcastle, because our goals difference is now not much better than Wigan, who were beating Tottenham 2-1 when an own goal equalized the scored – but Newcastle are playing terrible football at the exact worst time.

And our goal difference is -23 – the same as Wigan’s – and it’s hard to say this – but this a much worse display than in our last home game against Sunderland.

Newcastle looked second best from the off today, and within three minutes Liverpool were just too much for Newcastle, and Daniel Agger put them 1-0 up, as he was completely unmarked in the middle of the penalty area as he easily headed the ball home.

Liverpool were having all the play, and it was hard to believe what was happening, and after 17 minutes they were 2-0 up as former Sunderland player Jordan Henderson put the all into the net completely unmarked – after a Coutinho pass tore open the Newcastle defense once again.

Newcastle came a bit more into the game, but after 36 minutes a superb left-wing cross from Haidaira found James Perch completely unmarked just six yards out, but he amazingly headed two yards wide of the goal. 🙁

Half time came and the lads were booed off the pitch as relegation was looking a little more real right now – unless Newcastle come out as a completely different side in the second 45 minutes.

Newcastle made two changes at the break and Ben Arfa and Yoan Gouffran were introduced for Gutierrez and Perch, and Newcastle showed a lot more spirit, well for the first few minutes, and then Newcastle were 3-0 down.

Ben Arfa lost the ball out on the left wing and Coutinho quickly moved forward and threaded a ball through to Daniel Sturridge, who simply smashed the ball past Elliot – and our difference is getting near that of Wigan at -20.

After 60 minutes Newcastle’s defense was again ripped apart as three Liverpool players are on one Newcastle player, and Daniel Sturridge scored again and Newcastle fans start to stream out of the ground – in what is a display that is so bad – that it’s hard to believe – goal difference -21

On 73 minutes Liverpool scored again (for fun) as the ball was crossed from the right and this time it’s Borini who put the ball past Elliot, and then just to make sure this is one of the darkest days for a long time Debuchy picked up a second yellow card and was sent off – and he will miss the game at West Ham.

And from the resulting free kick Jordan Henderson scored direct, as Newcastle players seem to have given up – which is completely and utterly unacceptable – and our goal difference is now -23 – the same as Wigan’s, who are 5 points behind us with a game in hand – but this result will give Wigan and Aston Villas huge hope.

This was an unexpected and complete and utter disaster for Newcastle United – and this result will send shock waves around St. James’ Park – as the wheels seem to have come off.

We have three games to go to save ourselves – but the odds don’t look good tonight – it was simply shameful this afternoon.

And if we play like this in our last three games, we’ll end up on 37 points and we’ll be relegated.

That’s the truth.

It will be interesting what Alan Pardew has to say after this shameful disaster.

I don’t even want to hear an apology from Alan Pardew and the players – talk it too cheap.

We can all argue pro and anti pardew points all day.
A lot of the anti pardew points have some or a lot of truth to them.
The only pro pardew point im willing to accept is stability. But even so, if i buy nufc and install a toad molesting cricket umpire as manager on an eight year contract, he only speaks manderin chinese and refuses to learn english, so he insists all the players learn manderin chinese. His favourite formation only includes 10 players, so he only sends out 10. And at the start of every game the ref says you have to have 11 on the pitch, he tactfully tells the ref ‘phuk a youuu’ and we forfit every game, all the way to npower league 2. Now we’d have stability at least? Stability is only good in the hands of the right man. It wasn’t right with Gaffaddi, Hitler, Stalin or Kony and it ain’t right with Pardew. With a fergie or a wenger, go for it, eight year contract. With a percy parsnip. tell him to clean the windows and shut up.

Nobody on this site or anywhere else has seen more of newcastle this season, some may have seen as much but none more. I’ve watched every minute, every game. Anybody who wants Pardew to get another chance at least until christmas, are you the same people who last christmas wanted him until the end of the season? On what basis does he merit another chance? AVB at chelsea should have had more time, Pardew at newcastle.. 2 and a half years is long enough to implement your philosophies and have them play your game. Fact is, and it is definately a fact, we are the biggest job and chance pardew will have have, a club of our stature will never ever ever hire this man. And we can most definately get someone better.

if we go down we go down. In fairness qpr are a circus, and reading are useless so both did everything expected of themselves. Newcastle? Absolutely pathetic, spineless and at times p1ss boiling, considering the talent in the squad we have been the worst team this season if you don’t agree you are dellusional. Im open minded and like hearing other people’s opinions but based on squad ability and then on squad performance we are a solid 20th, no doubt. Now say we go down, I’ll still watch every 90 minutes, every single game, like I have this season, and last, and before that.. But if Pardew remains in charge thats it, I couldnt be bothered watch him take us to league 1. I’ll watch the football league show, check the score on my phone, but i will care 10% as much as i do now if he stays.

Worst loss to sunderland since 1979, followed by Liverpool’s biggest ever win at sjp. Worst defeat at home since 1923. Pardew certainly is a record breaker. But it’s our away form that we’ve struggled with haha last two games.. 0-8.
Also I cant believe only 20% of people on Ed’s poll thought we’d lose this game. There is a difference between being admirably the eternal opptimist and being completely deluded. We never stood a chance and we sure as shit won’t against arsenal either. I tipped 0-5 today, obviously I was hoping to be stunned but sadly I was almost right. Not expecting much from west ham either, imagine remy sends us down? ‘that’s us safe now’ (after fulham) dopey sh1te, that quote will not leave my head. And the mangina that he is, he bolted down the tunnel straight away, couldn’t even shake hands.

Anyway in short anyone still sitting on your diplomatic little fences get the fcuk down.Your not passionate fans, you don’t want what’s best for the club, you just want something to talk about and you don’t want to tread on any toes while you do it. I’d give my right kidney and left nut for nufc. I would also like to FINALLY hear Ed’s actual thoughts on Pardew, not this we’ll have to be much better against ___insert next game___. (insert smiley face)

Well, AP simply has to go, he’s had long enough and he’s confirmed spectacularly what we all thought – he’s not and never going to be a top manager.

    Has to go, should resign.

Used to be proud to be a Geordie….jeez

Best to avoid individual player bashing – it’s irrelevant at the moment. Surely that’s the final nail in the coffin for Pardew at least. 1 more point might just be enough to survive, then rebuild with a new head honcho.
