Newcastle’s Three Strips For Next Season

We showed the potential Newcastle home strip for next season last week, and another batch of the home, second and third strips are  now doing the rounds on the internet – and they don’t show Wonga on the shirts – and the home strip seems to be quite a bit different.

nufc shirt 1

The new set of strips do not have WONGA on them

nufc shirt 3

This strip is the away strip

nufc shirt 2

And this strip could be the third strip

The two strips below are the ones we published last week, and they are different to the home strip shown at the top, in both where the stripes are positioned and also with  the collar, and also the sleeves – in other words almost completely different – and it’s difficult to know if they are authentic.

We like the ones below.

The home kit always looks great, while the away and change always blow. Although on this occasion the home kit emblazoned with our new toerag sponsorship is waiting patiently in the wings ready to suck at a moments notice.

The away strip looks like it should be worn at construction sites.

dont think too many people read the previous post now, so im gonna write my comment here
although Benitez would definitely be an upgrade on Pardew, i’d rather want a german or english manager, or maybe a dutchman, and i also think we should look at the german market for players, their physical level is about up to the PL and they have great skills as well… and also, they dont choke like french

I’m a bit worried visits to our hapless managers former ‘manor’ have included conceding to lots of five and seven and yet we go darn sarf with all that extra travel for our weary squad looking for only our second away win off thevseason.

Just got off the phone with my friend at the club…he was saying the club is rife with stories of benitez coming in this summer, providing we stay up. It is fully expected to happen and was meant to be under wraps, however somebody on benitez’s side has leaked it and this is why the players seem to have given up on Pardew.

Never 100% on things but he seemed pretty confident that the club will move very quickly after the arsenal game.

The plot thickens ,I can’t see it myself though,I was listening to total sport the other day and John Ando fairly rubbish the reports, and he’s normally quite close.

yeh i listen a lot of nights to that and ando is pertty spot on…never seems to know definite names/incomings but tends to know a lot of who isn’t coming or other inside things…he is good for it.

I have my doubts just going off what I heard. I’d love to see it, he is a top coach and if willing to work with graham carr/our other scouts it’s good. Also he won’t just sit there and take not getting players in…he will let Ashley know.

Benitez won’t wanna come without getting at least what shearer wanted 25 mill every summer.
Don’t think thick mike will change his strategy
Rafa won’t come if we go down so nothing wrapped up

would be good enough for me anyway. Not sure of names as don’t watch tons of european football but can’t imagine we would get anyone with as good a record as rafa…could gamble on a younger manager but you never know what you get then…least we know with rafa.

Have we ever had a manager of the calibre of Rafa. Even Sir Bobby was considered by many to be past his best when he took the reins, although he did indeed silence the doubters.

Would be a huge coup and genuine show of intent from the owner – so a long shot then, let’s face it.

He seemed to think it was wrapped up but depended on us staying up…so if we up he definitely comes in.

He will want some money but if we broke even last year with no big sales and an extra 20mil in tv money not inconceivable we could spend 20mil a year as we’d be no worse off than now.

Unfortunately that’s the exact very reason Pardew was brought in,instead of making a scene he is more comfortable with telling us fans he didn’t think the team needed new players, this is of course after being promised new players and telling us about it.

    Sage,
Interesting, while I can see some of the appeal to Benitez, and can certainly see the appeal to Newcastle it would still be a surprising move. Benitez fits the bill perfectly except for the fact he won’t be cheap. He certainly will have a point to prove after the way Chelsea fans have treated him, and i think he realises that, like at Liverpool, if he wins a trophy here he will be adored by the fans, and held on the highest pedestal.

It would also demonstrate Ashleys ambition for the club. Benitez won’t come unless he knows he has money to spend. And Ashley won’t be able to make him the lowest paid manager in the league.

I’d be pleasantly surprised if it did happen, although if it has been leaked, and the players know, then Pardew should go now as they obviously didn’t play for him last game, and 3 more like that could see us down.

in between the two hammerings at home we had a great 45 mins at west brom and if we had taken those 2 chances we really should have we’d have been 3-0 up at half time then probably hung on for 3 points with the defensive 2nd half.

So hopefully if we play even 1 game like that we will have enough to stay up.

Benitez and a few signings like PEA and other mentioned would show real ambition.

I’m unsure on the owner, really 50/50 for me, can’t decide if he wants great things or just happy to plod along for minimal cost…i will know a lot more by the end of the summer window.

Actually, if Rafa has been lined up then surely we are fated to go down, such is the very ironic, life imitating art, nature of all things Newcastle United.

    So let’s f@cken hope not.

    Sage,
I still think we will stay up, QPR are gutless and awful. We can beat West Ham if the players perform, but the performance against Liverpool was as poor as I’ve seen in my 30 odd years of following the club.

Then, from there who knows! Onwards and upwards! Hopefully….

    TS ,
Good for you that you are 50/50 on the regime,it probably stops you from getting as wound up as me :0,it’s just that for all this talk of being on a sound financial footing and so on we have seen the worst football at SJP since the eighties and a possible two relegations every record a club doesn’t want to break has been smashed (in the PL ) since Ashley got here how on earth is that being well run.

I am fully confident too…no way can we be as bad as we were against liverpool.

West ham are decent and in form but no reason we can’t have a go at them and get something from the game. At with QPR, they don’t care, none of them want to play. The only danger is harry plays his championship team and drops the idiots like bosingwa who just dont want to be there.

If Pardew is still here there will be a amass exodus of our qality players and w can look forward to Reo- Coker and Carlton Cole type signings and of course the hoof ball king Andy Carrol.

Ashley would still keep the club revenue into his own pocket and Rafa won’t have much net spending for transfer window even if we get him.

I made a post last night, sure you might have said something similar.

whats my fun to look at

    1. great football, challenging for the league, cups and being in champs league

    or

    2. getting to read some accounts every year where we make a small profit.

I know what I would prefer.

It’s like some fans think success on the pitch means we have to risk the future of the club. We don’t, we just have to spend a bit more (not hugely, just a few more players, even if cheap).

Then people claim we would have gone bust if Ashley hadn’t taken over…nonsense…only person who has said that is Ashley/llambias which is the perfect excuse to cut back and not spend, paint themselves as saviors of our club.

I know you don’t like hoofball, and fair enough really, think most prefer quick passing and good all round play with more of it on the floor.

But I have to admit, seeing carroll rise above everyone and power a header home was awesome stuff. did you enjoy them goals too (well obviously as we scored, but i mean did you like seeing them anywhere near as much as a little cut back and tap in)

he won the league with valencia so he can do it too…not that he would with us, we can’t compete with man utd over a season but he might get us top 6/4 over a couple years.

But you’re right, he is very good for cups.
