I want Pardew to be knighted, so he will be known as Sir Alan Pardew. Hence his training kit will have the initials SAP. We are safe, he’s a sap. Get rid, in comes Rafa, a manager of the calibre that our stars even Colo may want to stay. .

Not to say I told you so but I had been saying for ages we needed to play 4-4-2 with gouff upfront…Team played alot better today than what they have been.

    Repost:

Surprising how many people don’t realise we’re already safe. Haven’t you all been agonising over the league table for the last few weeks?

Pardew out, Rafa/Laurent/Rene in. Colo, Cabaye and Ben Arfa to stay and play for the new manager.

I’d still take Remy. PEA would be grand. This summer I’m just gonna sit back and enjoy it; no more obsessing for me over who we may or may not sign. This second brush with relegation has taken years off me…have never been so happy to see the end of a season.

And as a footnote, how great is it that Stevie Harper will effectively get a St James’ testimonial against Arsenal! Fantastic. You wouldn’t bet on Pardew leaving him on the bench had Elliot not got himself sent off – I think Harper was deliberately demoted for his role in the ‘player’s committee’ – he’s the only surviving member in our squad.

Anyway, what a nice finish to a season we all hated. Chuffed for Harper – superb.

Repost. What a chilling prospect if…

we beat Arsenal, could we end up in 10th? The reason I ask is that if we could and did, then the club’s stated aim of 10th will have been achieved and Pardew could be deemed as having met his target and…

Pardew – please go now, you hav no clue, no ideas no tactics, u have the most amazing talent at your disposal, yet you are destroying it

You are not the manager to take these players forward.

Today papers over the cracks of a very very very poor season!!

omg how long does it to sack someone

DL,, come AP, we have some news for you

AP, yeh, did you see that game, wow, great win, we are safe,, i told you to trus me,,

DL, can you tell me how you think the season went ?

AP,, well if im honest D, i think its not been as bad as EVERYONE makes out, we are 13th, and given the fact that i wasnt supported in the summer, and all those injuries iv had,, and even some days we played when the sky was blue, I FELT LIKE EVERyONE WAS AGAINST ME, they made me fly to some strange places to play football,, but i sorted that out,, i got us out of the cups early (again) to help with the fixture pile up,, you know my players are tired,,

DL how much do you owe us?

    AP what do you mean,,

    DL gambling debts

AP, nothing, i paid that off when you gave me that 8 year contract

DL, are well this is easy,, YOUR FIRED

I thought colo was great today and mbiwa looks great at full back. He has skills!!

Debuchy looked awful first half but did much better second. Don’t know what’s up with cabaye but that was another anonymous display.

Hba showed a few glimpses of what he’s capable of and I thought willo had a great game.

Cabaye just isn’t the kind of player who thrives in a team that plays like we do.

He’s no good when he has no options to pass to, and his best attribute (aside from his amazing workrate) is his vision – but the movement in front of him is absolutely pathetic!

Whilst I want us to beat Arsenal for us to finish anything above 17th is as much a falseness as us finishing 5th last season.

If we finish 10th it would be ludicrous and that fact alone may be enough to absolve Pardew and many of his supporters would exclaim it is a successful season.

For me I hope that we beat Arsenal but that one game and eventual finish should not deflect the truth behind this season and Pardews management.

If you think about it th most shrewd buy for a man with a few million to burn is not some so-so striker or going-downhill midfield general but a top manager. We have spent millions on some pretty average players but spend that much on a manager and you can get a top model. How about it, Mike?

    i hope so

the only thing keeping him there is DL, he stuck his neck out to get him the job, then rewarded him with a crazy contract,

so DL looks stupid if pardew if pardew gets sacked,,

im hoping MA see sense, and makes the choice for DL,

i dont care what anyone thinks of me, he is simply not good enough,,

Today was a replica of last season.

Crap performance, awful football against a weaker team and making an easy job more difficult than it had to be.

But we won so presumably that’s all that matters.

    Not for me.

TDS – Cabaye tried to pick out cisse a number of times and failed. I agree with earlier poster another poor game.

Tsunki, that’s the most sense anyone has said on here for days (mainly coz I agree with you)…. Spending 2-4 million a year out of your transfer budget on a top manager would be. Much wiser use of funds.

pardew hasnt a clue-time to go, he has no tactics!!
not good enough for the toon hot seat
we need experience who can get the best out of the quality players we have
AP is NOT that, as has been shown

Our two goals came from a lucky pen and a poor back pass.

And once again Pardew sat back on a 1 goal lead and invited all the pressure.

We were lucky qpr are shit going foward otherwise it would of been a familiar loss.

TDS – cabayes vision is evidently not matched by his touch, he cant measure a long ball at any cost. I have gone off him.

Beattie – If we mathematically finished just outside the champs league places that wouldnt be enough to erase the memory of this seasons absolute tripe or the drivel he has been told to blurt out for our ‘benefit’.
