No one stands out really. I’d give it to cisse. He hasnt hit top gear but we’d be down without his last minute goals. Really no one stands out, pretty pointless this year.

@NUFC_Stats: Only Alan Shearer (6x), Les Ferdinand & Andy Cole managed more goals in one PL season for NUFC than Demba Ba did this campaign! #silly #nufc

    Santon for me,

until he faded through the sheer mileage he covered he was the standout by a mile for me. In fact he seemed like he was the only player trying to be positive at the start of the season.

Demba Ba was undoubtedly Newcastle’s player of the season even though he left in January. He was the only player who seemed to know what he was on the pitch to do.

i’ll have to go with krull because he’s been the most consistant over the season (even though i hate him kicking the ball long up the pitch to no one)

I would go Krul also, I don’t think any outfield player deserves any accolade this season, complete inconsistency.

Tbf krul has been very inconsistent either, he’s let in some shockers and hasn’t commanded the area at all this season

Perch for me. He was the only one who was decent throughout. All the others had poor periods.

cant help notice how the best player as voted for you lot is always a defensive player. Thats a sad indictment of the Ashley years. Thats why I voted for Marv.

There shouldn’t be a player of the season this year…no-one deserves it…well no-one that’s still here anyway…Ba should win it by a street mile imo and he was only here half of the season…just goes to show how bad the second half the season went.

Stuck between S.Taylor, Perch and Marveaux. Went for Sylvain as he has had a bit of spark at times when we have needed it and because of the improvement after is injuries.
