Newcastle Reported Interested In Chris Samba

10:29 am, Sunday, May 26th, 2013 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 106 Comments

Alan Pardew has mentioned since the season ended,  that he would like to sign experienced players for Newcastle in the summer, and players with Premier League experience.

chris samba

Chris Samba – while at Blackburn

Now this is a Sunday so beware of transfer news, but Newcastle  are being linked with 6’4″ QPR center-back Chris Samba, but we’d be very surprised if this news is accurate.

Now bear in mind that Harry Redknapp has said he wants to keep the big man at QPR in the Championship,  and that he was signed from Russian side Anzhi in January for £12.5M, and QPR offered him ridiculously high wages to get him to go to the small London club with more money than sense –  said to be around £90K/week – and you get some idea why this news is hardly accurate.

The story is in the Daily Star, and there’s not too much out on Newcastle today, so it looks to us like a creative story – let’s put it that way.

Of course if he wasn’t so expensive he could be a good player for Newcastle because he’s great from set plays which is something Newcastle are simply hopeless at these days.

Newcastle would never pay close to £12M for a 29 year old – no way – so unless there’s a release clause in his contract for a lot less than that – then there’s just no way Newcastle could afford him..

Chris was signed by Mark Hughes at Blackburn in 2007 and he was there for five years, and played 185 times for Rovers with 18 goals, and he was a very good player for them.

We’d be shocked if Samba ends up at Newcastle this summer.

What do you think?

non story not happening. looks like we are spending big by all accounts with our transfer targets being nkoulou/sakho for cb and aubameyang/bony for striker.

i just worry we still wont get in a quality winger which we desperately need

  • 5 WWYCD // May 26, 2013 at 10:44 AM

Such a fall from grace Sambas had I remember him being utterly fantastic for Blackburn until their relegation season shame…once upon a time I’d of bitten ur hand off to get him in our colours

  • 6 eaststandgeordie1982 // May 26, 2013 at 10:44 AM

Why do we never buy good wingers anymore???

  • 7 JAMSHA // May 26, 2013 at 10:46 AM

i would buy him for 1mil an 30-40k wages

  • 8 jimiley // May 26, 2013 at 10:47 AM

The thought of another 7 years with Pardew makes me feel ill. Do we want to be a stable relegation side? The club has zero ambition. We do not want to be in Europe. We play reserves in domestic cups to save ourselves for the league. What are we trying to win?

  • 9 jimiley // May 26, 2013 at 10:47 AM

We do not need a quality winger. We have Jonas.

  • 10 Indian Magpie // May 26, 2013 at 10:48 AM

    eaststandgeordie1982

We don’t want competition for jonas

  • 11 Jayk // May 26, 2013 at 10:50 AM

We need to stop buying so many black players

  • 12 jimiley // May 26, 2013 at 10:51 AM

Pardew wants experience now!!!!!!! Make your bloody mind up. We did not want to sign players over 28 because they are too old and experienced. This firm makes it up as it goes along. A total joke club.

  • 13 ~ Phoenix Warrior Perch~ // May 26, 2013 at 10:53 AM

In the past I would have bitten anyone’s hand off to have samba play for us, however I think he is passed his prime now, on top of that his wage demands will be too high…

  • 14 Jamiemac // May 26, 2013 at 10:54 AM

Gary Neville made a very good point last night on the CL build up. Teams low on confidence tend to ‘lose’ their midfielders. Midfielders don’t offer themselves so defenders bypass them and boot it towards the striker. I think it’s fair to say for many reasons we’ve been low on confidence. Pardew has said many times he wants us to play nice football and this was evident for some games in the second half of the season. Last season also we played a lot of nice football. If Tiote and Cabaye can perform anywhere near the level they did last season then I’m sure you’ll see us play decent football.

  • 15 ~ Phoenix Warrior Perch~ // May 26, 2013 at 10:55 AM

Jmiley, I don’t think age is what he meant by experience. I believe he wants players that fit our transfer profile, but have already experienced playing in the BPL, as opposed to signing players from another league.

  • 16 ~ Phoenix Warrior Perch~ // May 26, 2013 at 10:58 AM

I’d take Townsend and Adam le fondre. Both still fit the transfer policy set by the club, and both have experienced in the BPL.

Le fondre to replace strolls and Townsend to be thelayer pertain simply hasn’t been. The
A is a real threat down the wings, unlike several of our wingers.

  • 17 AaranD // May 26, 2013 at 10:59 AM

Not the defender he once was and the price and wages are ridiculous. Absolute no go! Would have Sahko over Samba all day everyday.

On the whole winger debacle, apparently trying to snap up Ince. Failing that, due to the amount of interest, Redmond is more than worth a pop.

  • 18 ~ Phoenix Warrior Perch~ // May 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Townsend may be hard to tempt, being part of tottenham’s team, however I think le fondre could be tempted to join, seeing as how reading have been relegated

  • 19 Joe Blog // May 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Danny Simpson’s available on a free. Good, solid player. Dunno which club he was released from. Must be clowns.

  • 20 ~ Phoenix Warrior Perch~ // May 26, 2013 at 11:02 AM

Would anyone still take Joliet, if he were to take a pay cut, as I’m sure he is being overpaid at qpr?

Really hope we get rid of obertan, Joan’s and tiote

Don’t mind keeping willo as 5th choice. To be fair to the lad, its not like he has underperformed given how much we paid for him. Honest
Y i think he has been pretty solid recently.

Jimiley….. what relegation stability?? .. last year we were 5th … where is that stability you’re talking about?

  • 25 ~ Phoenix Warrior Perch~ // May 26, 2013 at 11:06 AM

Don’t see how color should have any say on who we sign. We can sign an 8legged green alien for all i care. As long as they play well for the club, it makes no difference to me.

    with gold polka dots 😀

  • 33 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 11:17 AM

Well with samba I think he would be a good signing, especially if colo was to go, he would be an experienced leader we need.

He has done well at QPR, he was just in a shambles of a team with a lot of poor players or players lacking commitment around him.

He still has a good 5 years as a CB, never been rapid so knows how to defend without pace which is key for older players.

I’d take him but imagine he would be too expensive unless there is a relegation clause and he would be happy to take a pay cut (which i doubt seeing as the reason he went to russia was money)

  • 34 lesh // May 26, 2013 at 11:17 AM

Isn’t Townsend in hot water with the FA? Alleged betting issues or something?

  • 35 Bearsize // May 26, 2013 at 11:19 AM

Any signings would be welcome except shola, he’s poo!!

  • 36 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 11:23 AM

    On Pardew…

Well he is here to stay so might as well give him a chance. See if he has truly learned from this season…some people are slow to learn and it takes a big mistake (this season) or a strong talking to (the meeting with ashley and llambias) to make him see the problem and try to put it right.

The fact Llambias said absolute minimum of tenth makes me think they are aiming higher and that they dont want a relegation fight again so hopefully things will be improved.

He may not improve but we’ll see, he has said he will get a new coach, said he wants players with league experience (mentioned walcott as an example so not just meaning the has beens people claim he wants).

Lets just see how Ashley backs him in the summer and how the first 5/10 games of next season go.

we have a good chance of getting someone good in, i would be tempted to put a bid in for shawcross

Yeh he is. They also said they would give him support to help him. So not sure exactly what he has done…doesn’t seem anything like fixing outcomes etc.

  • 41 Cisse's Big Toe // May 26, 2013 at 11:31 AM

dortmund want cisse to replace lewandowski :(

  • 42 gfp13 // May 26, 2013 at 11:31 AM

Although we have no out n out wingers. The tactic we seem to play doesn’t really suit them too well anyways. Gouffran and benny cutting in seems to be what we go for, but having another option would be handy. It’s about time jonas packed his bags. As for tiote if he stays and goes back to being an anchor man who just tackles and passes great coz he’s far from the playmaker pards expects him to be. But if he is sold like a lot of people want him to be we need to bring in a replacement for sure

  • 43 Cisse's Big Toe // May 26, 2013 at 11:33 AM

the club have got very high hopes of tav it seems, hence their willingness to let danny leave.

anybody know anything of streetes development?

  • 44 gfp13 // May 26, 2013 at 11:33 AM

Townsend bet on a game in a competition he played in. Not 1 of his own games so I don’t think it’s match fixing but it would be like shola betting on the Manchester derby, something along those lines. That’s why he more just getting looked down upon rather than sent to jail

  • 47 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 11:39 AM

The problem with gouff and hba on the wing/wider of cisse is the way we set up they are far too deep and have too much to do to support the attack. They need to be allowed to stay higher (the whole side needs to be 20 yards further up the field really).

What I’d like is one or two players with genuine pace who run at/past people….its key to stretch play and create space of the more technical/passing players.

  • 48 Dennis Twice // May 26, 2013 at 11:42 AM

This summer will be exciting I think.

So many managers at big clubs moving around so they will all want to sign certain players….hopefully it will spark of a chain reaction and a lot of sales will happen.

The top 3 english clubs have new managers, the top german side does and so does the second spanish side….they will all be spending money which gives other clubs money to spend, and so on.

No doubt that means clubs will be looking to move players on as well so hopefully there will be bargains to be had.

  • 51 Dennis Twice // May 26, 2013 at 11:45 AM

  • 54 gfp13 // May 26, 2013 at 11:54 AM

Sage… I agree, I was saying it seems we are lined up that way. I don’t agree with pards tactics was just saying why wingers aren’t what we need but it would be nice to have a plan B or C. First of all pards needs a plan A that works before he develops his B and C

  • 55 jesperfuglsang - captain of the lemon crew // May 26, 2013 at 12:01 PM

I agree this summer could be exciting, but I hartly doubt it will be!

…hope we are not doing a QPR and try to buy us out of it. Seem to remember they went for overprised EPL experienxce ad well!

  • 56 hotdog // May 26, 2013 at 12:04 PM

Jack – it’s all hyperbole. It’s only the end of may. We are going to have two months of this. When I see them holding the toon shirt ill comment on that player. 99% of the players mentioned by fans on here won’t be coming. History tells us this but I guess it gives fans something to discuss. Not for me though, generally!

  • 57 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:06 PM

    jesper

They went for experienced players who didn’t want to play though, players who wanted a big, long contract to see them up to 33/34/35 etc.

Pardew mentioned walcott….saying he was 24 but has 250 PL games under his belt so if that’s what the type he is after then great.

I think all teams buy out of trouble…even barca do it when they haven’t go a player through the academy as they thought…they got players like villa, sanchez, fabregas etc when they needed to buy so there is a palce for it.

We just can’t do what we did in the 90’s and spend everything on buying people and scrapping the academy.

  • 58 Big Pappa Cissé // May 26, 2013 at 12:06 PM

Wingers is a must IMO. Cisse loves crosses as he is not the quickest and balls through or over the top don’t always work (why he is caught off side a lot) . We saw how he latched on to Fergie’s & Marveauxs crosses and he is a great header of the ball.

We should take notes from Bayern and try to put this team & formation together

    ————Cabaye——Sissoko—————

    —Mertens——–HBA——Sinclair——-

    ———————–Cisse————————-

Mertens & sinclair could be our Robben & Ribery, Hba our Muller and Cabaye our Sweinsteiger. Cisse would easily get 20 plus goals in that team and it would be relativeley cheap to put together. Not to mention our bench would have some quality in the likes of Anita,Marv & Gouffran. Not dead weight like Shola and Obertan. What do you lads think ? .

  • 59 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:07 PM

    jack

who are you thinking of that you are worried about?

  • 60 colwell // May 26, 2013 at 12:11 PM

    Where is our Russian billionaire?

It is getting boring by aiming for at least a top 10 finish. What happens if we finish 12? i’m pretty certain our aim was not to finish 16th this season and nothing has happened.

No doubt with all the big money men in football now a days one day we’ll be snapped up and compete again.

Can’t wait for the days when we get linked to playes like Neymar or Ronaldo or Bale etc, instead of people talking about Le Fondre lol.

Would being owned as someone’s play thing be a bad thing? Well if we want to ever win something NO!

  • 61 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:12 PM

    big pappa

That would be nice as those wingers chip in with goals. I know they both score but I’m not sure on the quality of their crosses into the box.

But the idea of it is very good.

  • 62 gfp13 // May 26, 2013 at 12:12 PM

In my opinion all clubs should invest a lot into their academies, it’s so beneficial to the club to do it. More spent on finding the next gazza but who doesn’t drink or the next shearer whatever saves us a lot in the future. If I was running a club I’d like to have a lot of scouts at grass root games, and fingers in many pies at youth clubs up n down the country. A homegrown core can be a match winner at times. Also because British players go for ridiculous money, the couple of million you spent on getting the youth level scouts n coaches through the door and upgrading facilities is made 10x over and done multiple times

  • 63 arpeco19 // May 26, 2013 at 12:12 PM

First signings I’d like us to make, would be Tom Huddlestone, then Jordan Rhodes, mahamado Sakho, Eric Pieters, Henri Saivet, Ibrahim Affellay… We have to be realistic in what we can sign also… 6 players, probs cost about £40m then obviously we’ll get money for the shit going out… I mean good players going out.. :-)

  • 64 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:15 PM

    colwell

I think I would enjoy a owner like man city or chelsea as you win things, see good football, the best players etc etc.

The only problem is (not sure this is a problem) that you end up in a situation where you just expect to win every game so when you do win it’s not special and when you lose it feels worse than it does now.

  • 65 JackButler // May 26, 2013 at 12:19 PM

Skrtel, Samba and no doubt Carlton Cole will be named before too long plus Cameron Jerome rumored to want away from Stoke and being seen chatting with Pardew in Monaco yesterday.

We don’t need this type of player coming in, we need the like’s of Ince, Redmond and Matty Phillips, youngsters of this caliber coming in and not over paid average workhorses

I think Samba is still a very good player and at 29 would have another 4/5 years in him….he was just in a poor QPR side. How can you motivate yourself when half your team don’t even want to be on the pitch.

Skrtel is a decent CB and would be a big step up on willo…nice cover for colo and mbiwa.

    The others are useless.

I wouldnt touch redmond, very overrated from the 7/8 games i’ve seen him in. I like ince and phillips, would take either of those though.

  • 69 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 12:27 PM

    My suggested signings are:

    Bony/Benteke – £12-18m
    Remy – £8m
    Zarate – Free
    Douglas – Free
    Alderweireld – £7m
    Boudebouz/Mcmanaman – £5-6m
    Belhanda – £8m
    Siem De Jong – £10m

    Total spend = £50m

  • 70 Big Pappa Cissé // May 26, 2013 at 12:27 PM

    @ sage

I agree. Was watching City’s friendlies agains Chelsea andvthe way the likes of Silva, Tevez & Aguero pass & move and interchange play is a thing of beauty.

I just hope I get to see it at St. James’ in my lifetime. I agree money in football is ridiculous but at the end of the day if you can’t beat em join em :) . Dortmund have had success going the route of buying cheap however now their star players are just being bought out.

My biggest fear is being an old man ( only 21 now so fingers crossed :) ) and still not having seen NUFC be relativeley successfull. And if that comes from some Billionaire with more money than sense then so be it. If I had that kind of money NUFC would be my first purchase for sure.

At the end of the day we can call the likes of Chelsea & Man City moneywhores and say they can only buy trophy’s, however I would swap owners in a heartbeat. Anyone who wouldn’t isn’t living in the 21st century or is too caught up in the romance of the beautiful game.

    Thoughts ?.

  • 71 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:31 PM

Carroll was definitely over priced but neymar isn’t that special.

I may be setting myself up to be proven totally wrong here but I think he is massively over rated…a good player with plenty tricks but he isn’t the world class talent people claim, my view anyway.

No doubt he will score 20+ goals a year in a dominant barca side in la liga but we’ll see.

  • 72 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 12:34 PM

If we are going to be tight again, I’m suggesting these sigings:

    Douglas
    Zarate
    Remy
    Alderweireld
    Kim Kallstrom – £2m
    Lukaku – Loan
    Bearsejour – £2m

    Total spend = £19m

  • 73 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:35 PM

    big pappa

I don’t care about success really, i just want to enjoy watching us play and just compete with everyone (regardless of outcome, as long as we give our best showing).

Obviously a trophy would be great but if i don’t see it I wont worry, plenty more things to worry about i suppose.

Even dortmund spend money though, reus was £14.5mil. So they buy young players who will improve but increase in value but they spend a good fee on them.

Thats what we need…gamble 10mil on players like bale, walcott, etc when they are young.

  • 74 JackButler // May 26, 2013 at 12:35 PM

    Sage

Redmond is still just 19 so is nowhere near being the finished article so would be a good addition.

Samba stood out in a very poor Blackburn side but did nothing with QPR and if Colo does stay he’d be third choice behind him and Mapou. Skrtel isn’t gonna come here to be a squad player as he wants to play regular football.

The likes of Mapou and Debuchy need time to settle and come the start of next season they will look very different players to the one’s we’ve see so far

  • 75 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:38 PM

    kets

all good players but you know as well as me it would take a total policy change from the owner to spend that much.

I think we should be looking at a loan signing or two though. Get some great players without having to spend much money….if we can’t get our number 1 or 2 target i’d rather a loan than us getting nobody and being short like we have the last couple years.

  • 76 Unbelievable Tekkers // May 26, 2013 at 12:38 PM

You really are reta**ed when have we or will we ever spend 50m in a window. Your posts are pointless, keep coming up with suggested signings. We finished 16th at least half the players you list wouldn’t touch us with a brage pole wake up, No wonder us Toon fans are called deluded.

I’d still like a few in who have done well in the prem league…we lack that at the moment I think.

Redmond may come good, i just don’t think he will so wouldn’t bother with him. He may do very well, i just haven’t seen anything stand out to make me think he will be a good player.

I’d love to see luke shaw from southampton…he is a talent.

kets if we could get kallstrom for 2m, great signing

  • 82 wolfshead@toon // May 26, 2013 at 12:42 PM

skirtel samba cole and jerome sound good to me lets face it were sht at passing and moving we might as well be a solid well organised english style team and stop having delusions of grandeur until we get a proper billionaire owner whos willing to put his hand in his pocket like roman etc :-)

  • 83 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:43 PM

    torq

Have to wait and see with him i guess….barca is an easy option. A team who only plays 2 difficult league games a season…he will look very good even if he isn’t.

It’s why I put ronaldo ahead of messi…he achieved things in england, spain, europe and for portugal.

Where messi has done it for barca and in europe.

I think messi is probably the better player but ronaldo has shown it in more situations/places and has a more complete game too.

But i’d take either at the toon haha.

  • 84 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 12:43 PM

I’m not retarded chap. You shouldn’t be coming out with things like that. It just makes you look pathetic.

Yeah, if we can’t sign Bony, we should go for Lukaku. We need a winger and a creative midfielder plus 2 centre backs. I’m sure that we can attract all of the above players listed.

Alderweireld and Remy are priority signings.

  • 85 JackButler // May 26, 2013 at 12:44 PM

I’d like to see Scott Sinclair come in, wasted a year of his career at City, great pace and would be a solid addition

  • 86 Transfer Sage // May 26, 2013 at 12:45 PM

    tekkers

look at who he got his goals against though

chili, bolivia, columbia, japan, iraq, china, costa rica, ecuador, scotland..

Obviosuly still have to get them but lets see what he does at big tournaments…thats where to judge an international player in my eyes.

Friendlies and qualifying are set up for big teams to dominate with the seeding so those goals are expected I think.

Alderweireld will simply not happen, I’d love to see him come in as much as you, but its not happening mate. Sakho should be our number one target for center half

ur 50mil kitty players list are pefect…. wish we had a owner who would allow us to spend that kind of money

  • 90 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 12:48 PM

Kallstrom adds experience to the team and is a playmaker. Marveaux is the only decent playmaker we have. Ben Arfa is best on the wing as he loses the ball too much in the middle.

Cabaye, Tiote and Gutierrez have all had poor seasons.

I’m sure there’s players out there who we’ll sign on the cheap, but we do need some experienced well-known players.

Bony looks similar to Cisse, so we do also need a Remy/Zarate type player. We should’ve signed Sulejmani. He went to Benfica on a free.

  • 91 Cisse's Big Toe // May 26, 2013 at 12:51 PM

i would go to get kallstrom if hes available for that price

    kallstrom
    sakho
    bony
    sinclair

  • 92 Cisse's Big Toe // May 26, 2013 at 12:53 PM

what about lens is he available?

  • 93 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 12:53 PM

They’re the players we need. I want to see us start the season with at least 4 top quality strikers. I’d accept 2 striker signings with Gouffran operating as fourth choice striker and as a back-up winger.

We need another player like Marveaux.

We need to sign 6 players minimum if Coloccini leaves. 2 centre backs, 2 midfielders and 2 strikers.

Pardew has said that he wants 2 strikers, so I expect top quality additions. Marveaux should be in the team next season, but we need another creative player as he is injury prone.

We’ve got decent squad depth, we just need to add the quality to hurt teams. Strikers are priority.

  • 94 gfp13 // May 26, 2013 at 12:55 PM

Hotdog… Exactly 340 mil over 10 years. 34 mil per year profit on transfers… Now that is a self sufficient club all because they produce good talent and have a good scouting system

  • 95 Toonfan8 // May 26, 2013 at 12:55 PM

rather Skrtel than Samba…Skrtel was Liverpool man of the season last year, quicker than Samba…

  • 96 Cisse's Big Toe // May 26, 2013 at 12:57 PM

id like to see us go in or rodrigo or lima from benfica

  • 97 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM

If think Alderweireld would be a bit cheaper than Sakho. I’d like to see some Belgiums signed up.

We don’t prioritise our signings well enough. We seem to sign too many defensive midfielders and leave our much needed signings right until the end of the window.

I’d rather have a lack of defenders than strikers. Want to see 2 strikers signed within the next 6 weeks.

  • 98 Big Pappa Cissé // May 26, 2013 at 1:01 PM

The thing about Neymar us whaever club he goes to they are going to make back a lot of his transfer fee on shirt sales and merchandise. So even if he is a flop he won’t have cost the club a fortune in the end. He has a lot to prove and most kids say he is the best because he does tricks in a poor leage and then it gets put on Youtube. Would love to see him try and do that in the Tyne-Wear derby :)

  • 99 nightfa11 // May 26, 2013 at 1:02 PM

dont let pardew have too many players…he doesnt know how to rotate the squad…so people who are dreaming of 5 new signings..get real..do we really want 5 top players on the bench not getting a sniff..

pardew keeps playing attacking players who are really “defenders” (ala jonas, sissoko) or he transfors attacking players into defensive (cabaye)

so getting an attacking winger is pointless..pardew will keep playing jonas, UNLESS ashley sells jonas behind his back so hed be forced to play santon as a winger.. would suit pardews selection of defensive players playing up front..& would be a good improvement..

as for defender..id love skrtel here, but i cant see liverpool dealing with us for the next 10 years:)

  • 100 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 1:04 PM

Don’t know much about Lens. We can do better than Skrtel and Samba. Douglas and Alderweireld are more sensible options.

If Cabaye stays with us, he needs to improve next season and get into games more. Sissoko needs to stop running into players. Ben Arfa needs to release the ball quicker. I honestly think Marveuax is the best player that we have along with Santon.

Cisse will do well next season if we sign the two strikers we need.

    TS

Your post on Neymar I totally agree with, he isn’t the greatest player when someone is totally up his a*se marking him, he’s not great in tight spots when he has to think or do something different… don’t get me wrong he is a good player but as has been coming out of South America, he will struggle to play against top top players week in and week out, in todays market 25 m is over the top in my book, still think he needs to develop but needs out of SA to do so… he won’t hit the ground running.

You all heard it here first!

    Kets

Good shout on Zarate, is he really on a free this summer? if i’m right in saying he is around 26/27 cracking player but attitude problems would need sorted

  • 102 Albert's Secret Love Child (Formerly Krul To Be Kind) // May 26, 2013 at 1:16 PM

I would like us to raid PSV, Hutchinson at r/b if Tav doesn’t step up, Mertens great little player, I really like Jorgensen too at c/b and Lens is tasty too… narsingh isn’t bad neither, Lens and Narsingh are both lightning quick

Buy Wilfred bony kim kalstrom I would have Samba but daft wages

  • 105 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 4:11 PM

Think Zarate’s just turned 26. He might have renued his contract. Yeah, he’s had a few problems with his previous clubs but we can sort him out.

We do need to make signings like Coutinho etc. Exciting playmaker.

I’m sure Kim would be interested in playing in the premiership. All Swedes love the English. Kallstrom can play left-midfield, defensive midfield and as a playmaker. 30 isn’t too old.

  • 106 Ketsbaia9 // May 26, 2013 at 4:13 PM

Think Neymar is overrated. Like Joe Cole, he’s good at fancy tricks but isn’t great in a physical game of football.

Ahh, Sulejmani on a free would’ve been a great signing.
