Being the last fat cabbage patch doll left on Christmas eve is too good for Ashley .

The allegations hanging over him at this point in time lead me to think we should stay well clear of Remy.

Yes i realize that they are just allegations and that everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law but at this moment in time to we as an under performing football club really need that sort of off field attention? In short… No!

He’s a good footballer, no doubt about it but as a person he has shown to have poor judgement, having already declined the opportunity to join us. His decision almost took us down along with QPR.

Provided he is cleared of rape (which has gone quiet all of a sudden) I would have him. He deserves a second chance and I’m sure if he started scoring for us we would soon forgive him.

He can play on the wing or through the middle and has already proved he can cut the mustard in the Premier League. Plus he has pace which we have been lacking with Cisse and Ba when he was here. Plus he can score goals like this:

I would love Pardew to go back to 4-3-3 and play this team

Its funny how Carroll, a Geordie and future Toon hero left us high and dry but many people would have him back. However Remy who only turned us down for another offer (more money) but is despised. Apples and oranges people 😉

Given the list nps posted earlier cheaper less riskier options available.

    Remy undoubted skill dubious mentality.

Agree on the Carroll and Remy comparison. I want neither though as they’re both pricey (wages) and both are injury prone. Plenty of other fresher & tastier fish in the sea 😉

The only reason to consider is whether he would improve the side as far as football is concerned, the other stuff is just nonsense.
If the fans were happy enough with Joey Barton and his ability to play the game, then what’s the problem with Remy.

I’m late on this but TDS had a brilliant point with his list of questions on the last post. I love that someone questioned the club being run properly and that Ashley had used the club as a free billboard obviously forgetting he a) paid for the club in the first place and b) loaned the club £130m.

Some people on here really have lost it

Lets show some ambition and get Jovetic, no chance of it happening but I can see him in the prem next season. Unless Monaco want him too!!

This is a player I would absolutely love us to get. Gonna’ be a very good layer. Cheap, young and a player we could attract. We’ll regret it if we don’t. Remember the name!

Paps..”anymore” ??? Bellamy is well known as a total bellend and has proven it at nearly every club he’s been at. Having said that, he is correct in some respects, especially on the Big Al = Big Hardman act.

I think we should!! Cisse doesnt have the “physicality” of epl! therefore hopefully remy/aubameyang in. + bargain charlie austin (3-4million)(a.villa already negotiating around that value atm).
And looks how the vote goes now:
    No (50%, 1,328 Votes)
    Yes (50%, 1,328 Votes)
    Total Voters: 2,656

    Yeah, I clicked yes.
