We haven’t got our new players in yet, so it may be a bit premature, but just to judge the mood of fans at the moment, let us know where you think Newcastle will finish in the Premier League next season.
Alan Pardew – Newcastle manager

Comment #1I get the impression we’re in for a season of interminable drudgery that’ll leave us mired in the turgid waters of deep mid-table.

Comment #2too early to vote on that if im honest. it will depend on who we sign/sell and if Pardew chooses to coach some football

Comment #3If we have a net spend of 3.5M in the summer and finish tenth, Mike Ashley will see that as being a huge success and Dekka can publicly claim that we achieved what we set out to do and that we should be grateful were not Leeds or Portsmouth.

Comment #5Andymax, seriously mate why do you think this clown has any inside info. He said Pardew was getting sacked in Jan and in May. He just picks up rumours off the net and guesses what will happen.

Comment #6Without the needed, investment in new players, and the neccessary good Pre-season preparation i can see us having almost exactly the same sort of season as this year!
I hope not, but fear the worst. Our Pre-season is apparantly already up in the Air? ( South Africa ? )!

Comment #12Not sure, but chances of relegating is higher than winning a cup under Ashley any day.

Comment #13Pointless subject at this stage when there is little on which to base an opinion. Of course that won’t deter the negativity of the same old … Blah blah blah ….

Comment #14I wanted to say 8th upwards but it wasn’t an option. We have the basis of a strong squad currently but if we add the right places and start the right way…who knows. It also depends on Pardew’s tactics, he didn’t get it right last season so for thats where he has to prove himself (team selection, formation, style of play, substitutions).

Comment #16if we manage to finish in the top ten with ashley and pardew in charge i will be grateful as long as we dont spend all the season in a relegation dogfight.at the end of the 2011/12 season liverpool sacked dagleish despite finishing 8th winning the league cup and being runners up in the fa cup and getting into the europa cup.in comes rodgers spends 50million and finishes 7th 50 million to finish one place higher dont win a cup get knocked out of the europa before we do but the owners of liverpool are pleased with the progress they have made.pardew has stated that they want to be like liverpool would ashley first invest 50million and secondly be happy finish to one place higher

Comment #17How can you answer this question now? Who will we recruit? How will the ‘new’ squad square up? How good will our opposition be able to strengthen their squads? Even, how many times will we get stuck with ‘that’ referee? Silly question, for now. Come back and ask it in a few months time. Go away now!
