TV Star Could Help San Lorenzo Buy Coloccini This Summer

It seems we’ll have to go through another soap opera with Fabricio Coloccini this summer, as the Newcastle captain’s family is now resident back in Buenos Aries, and that’s where the Newcastle captain now wants to play his football.

Marcello tinelli

Marcelo Tinelli – trying to raise money to buy Coloccini

Marcelo Tinelli is a 53 year-old Argentine TV host, media producer and businessman, and hosts the TV show ShowMatch on Argentina’s El Trece channel from Buenos Aries, and  in January was being linked with the move for Coloccini.

Marcelo is trying to find ways to get the money together that could see Fabricio return home to be with his family.

Newcastle will continue to play hard ball with San Lorenzo, and even though there was a lot of noise made in the press in January, there was no bid received from the Argentine club for Coloccini.

But news today in the Evening Chronicle that Fabricio Coloccini has been told to report back to Newcastle United when pre-season starts early next month – but since he’s a Newcastle player, that’s hardly surprising.

Newcastle will again stick by their guns and will only sell to San Lorenzo if they meet Newcastle’s valuation of their captain, which is between £5M and £7M, depending on which reports you read.

This is what a San Lorenzo insider told the Evening Chronicle today:

“San Lorenzo still want to sign Coloccini.” “They are looking at ways in which they can get the money together and make a bid.”

And it seems they have again turned to Marcelo Tinelli in an effort to raise the money.

The Newcastle squad will report back to training on Thursday 4th July, which is four weeks tomorrow, but players such as Coloccini, who are involved in Internationals, will get an extra week off.

And it could be that his situation is still up in the air by that time – and it looks like we may have to wait until September rolls around, before we know whether Coloccini will be at  Newcastle for next season.

We hope he is.

Having his menage a trois with Natalie Cassidy and Michelle Ferguson exposed by the Sunday Sun is too good for Ashley .

Alex84 – I agree he’s a class act on the pitch but he’s as responible as anyone for this story dragging on, at a time when he knows the fans are growing slightly concerned about the club, to that end off the pitch he’s actually a bit of a prick IMO.

If we were to go for PEA it should of been last year, now we’ve got zero chance with this bigger names going for him. Still think we’d sign a few strikers but not the standard of cisse, maybe players like Le Fondre?

I know ashley doesnt like this…. but if wants to go, just this once let them have him and payus in installments. At least that we his wages are off the books and we know he needs replacing. If we wait till sept, then we wont be able to replace him if he goes because that would man a panic buy. Mashley hates that more than installments im sure!

As I expect Colo to go over the summer, I just hope that we get a reasonable price for him.

How much we’ll get for Krul, Haten & Cabaye remains to be seen. It also raises the question of whether the income generated from the sales will be put toward buying decent players.

With Llambias in charge of getting players over the line, I’m not holding my breath.

Despite being a season holder, with Pardew staying, I’m wondering if another season struggling to avoid relegation might get MA to re-evalute the positiosn of Llambias & Pardew.

Whether or not it actually happens, Collo might leave and that’s all the more reason to get another top class CB in for July 4.

In total, we need two top drawer CBs, given Saylor’s history of injuries, plus two strikers – one to replace Ba and one Shola.

If they can get the money together: he should be gone already! When his mind in the right place: he is one of the top ten: best centre-backs in the country! But no team can afford his complete lack of concentration-when off the boil! If his mind is elsewhere: he should be as well!

Alan cannot afford the off field problems he had the season just gone. The defence is a vital part of our DNA. Our poor defending belongs in the past. Something that Chris Hughton sorted out. Anything less is a step backward!

If we’re going to replace him: then get someone with pace. So we can push our back line further up field. To help out our midfield! No more lob it up field!! We need to rebuild the defence, so it is not so heavily relent on Jonas: who they can have on a free.

Of course we have started to address this issue last January. Hopefully they will adjust to our game this coming season. Any further additions will be made welcome. Alan must reduce any risk of being sold short! No more round holes in square pegs.

And if there is to be a change in manager: no transfer is required. If the players’ are there: then we can attract a bigger manager! Playing with the right players’ at the right club: with the right style of play!

I’m not one of the ones trying to hound Alan out: but even: we. Are tiered of the same excuses! The poor display of football! I know he can turn things around. But he has to prove a lot of doubters wrong. And I hear what they saying. And it’s not unreasonable!

    Never mind a transfer fee.
    Too much for San Lorenzo.
It all depends on what Colo wants to do.
Little if anything to be gained by keeping anyone
who doesn’t want to be with us, whatever the ‘fee’.
    .
As Colo hasn’t come out and said anything, I guess
it’s all still up in the air.
All we can do is hope he wants to stay.

Otherwise – thanks for everything and goodbye.

If Colo really wants to leave, he can come out with half of the expected fees and the other half by San Lorenzo.

He have not mention anything so it is not he who wants to leave.
