Newcastle start the next league campaign with a very tough fixture at Manchester City, and will face a City with their new manager Manuel Pellegrini in charge.
The full fixture list has been released today, and we are at City on 17th August, and our first home game is against West Ham United the following Saturday – with Sam Allardyce returning to St. James’ Park, although even if Andy Carroll signs for the east London club – he will not play because he is out with an injured heel until September, although former captain Kevin Nolan will be returning to St. James’ Park.

Comment #1Both Lambeezee and Jokin Ear are directors of football, by whatever name called. ashley is replacing a finance guy with little footballing knowledge with a footballing guy (?) with little finance knowledge. Finance is no longer a major problem, credit to the ashley lambias project. now the ball play needs to be addressed. so he hires a football guy and fires the finance guy.
That way it seems like a step forward. and now if jokin ear pesters pardew out of the job and then subsequently talks himself out of the job it will be a perfect ending.
if one of the two leaves and the other doesnt, thats a problem.

Comment #4Every game looks tough right now….
Hopefully, as with 11/12, as we’re expected to implode and struggle, we’ll have a blinder!

Comment #9Never a dull moment, eh lads?
I’m chuffed to bits that Lambeezey has left as i think he was the major source of everything wrong with the club. His attitude stank and he seemed to have let the power go to his head, evident in his transfer failings last time round.
As i’m a positive person, I’m not going to hide under my blankets hoping that the replacement is far worse than Owl-Heed (like Wise for example- shudder…)
But instead i’m going to revel in the hope that Ashley sacked Lambeezey as he realised (back in Jan) that the bloke was a charlatan and a prize numpty. Bringing in Kinnear to be his go-between could be a masterstroke IF his role is redefined as CE and not DoF.
Football people like and respect other football people, so maybe Pardew will feel like he had an allie in the board room instead of someone determined to screw everyone for a deal.
Here’s hoping anyway…

But i dont really care because we have bigger problems than the fixture list.. But hey: we are newcastle united, allways a rollercoaster ride, but not so often a positive one.. sorry for my bad english and grammar
