Aubameyang – Newcastle Is A Good Club With Passionate Fans

There is some good news for Newcastle fans today, that Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says that he would like to move to England and not only that, but that Newcastle is a good club with passionate fans and St James’s Park is a monumental stadium. He’s such a good lad. 😀

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – do I hear Newcastle calling?

The Gabon International has been speaking to SkySports.com this afternoon, and Aubameyang says he wants a move to the English Premier League – that’s his first choice:

“I will choose England before any other destination.” “My dream has always been to play in one of the top two leagues in the world.” “Newcastle are a good club and St James’s Park is a monumental stadium, where there are passionate fans.”

The 24-year-old Gabon international striker is currently on vacation and he returns in a couple of weeks time, but this must give Newcastle officials some hope that they can pull off a coup and sign the top striker – our number one striker target this summer.

The news yesterday was that St. Etienne had turned down Newcastle’s bid for the player (€18M – £15.3M) , but accepted a slightly higher bid from Russian club Anzhi (€20M – £17M).

But as we reported this morning it depends on where Aubameyang wants to play his football – and whether Russia would be a good place for him to move to.

Well the lad says he wants to move to the Premier League, so that just has to be some good news for Newcastle, and maybe we can sign him after all?

And the fact there are  a lot of French speaking players already at Newcastle, has to be an advantage.

Make no mistake – Aubameyang would be a fantastic signing for Newcastle – and it’s some good news we need, after all the Joe Kinnear nonsense that’s gone on over the last couple of weeks.

Maybe we are in with a decent chance?

Good luck to Danny Simpson. A solid player for us for the last few years, nothing spectacular but always did what was asked of him. Would have loved him to stay as a back up but, like Guthrie last season, it’s fair enough if he wants first team football.

I actually had a dream last night that we signed PEA. Would be 1 of the most exciting signings for many years.

    Spending spree?

Ed – Liverpool have signed four top players?

    Really?

Just like they did with Carroll, Henderson, Downing and Adam for a total of £80M?

Indian…. you typing that all the time is as irritating as your countrymen phoning up every day from Indian call centres trying to flog me a mobile phone. Give it a fkng rest. Typing it over and over is not going to make any difference. Send the club an e-mail. Not that THAT will make any difference either.

doesn’t MA realize that if he brought in PEA he could sell him 3 times his value in a few years time, he better get him in before goes to another club then in a few few years time daft teams like Man city, Chelsea, Barcelona, R.Madrid and Monaco will buy him for about 50+ million

All this talk about these signings is just going to leave every one very disappointed. We did our business in january. Just expect a striker around the 6 mil area.

    Bills

They’ve signed a great goalkeeper, an experienced centre half, a very promising youngster and added a forward with good feet and eye for goal.

It’s more than what we’ve done.

Put the race card away. It’s an observation. Many Indian people do work in call centres. It is very irritating. As is Indian Magpie’s constant bleating about Pardew.

    Where is the racism?

I’ve defended Ashley against waves of unfair criticisms from fellow supporters and will continue to do so. I’m grateful for his service towards our football club. Debt free, youth set up starting to look good. Scouting set up most clubs envy. he’s sanctioned the moves for players were so lucky to have (Cabaye, Collocini, Ben Arfa, yanga, debuchy etc)

But i will BE VERY PISSED off with him if we don’t crack on and get this lad in. It’s saying on skysports we’ve offered 18 million and its been rejected and Anzi have offered 20 million and been accepted. YOU’RE A BILLIONAIRE SPORTS TYCOON MIKE. surely an extra 2 million quid is pocket change, c’mon. This lad wants to come and all.

Ashley sold the shares to buy the clothing store republic out of administration which was well documented at the time so unfortunately the 100m was not and never will befor us mate! Nice dream though buddy :p

Oh and just to clarify when he did take them out of administration he split the stores into profitable ones and lost the shite ones! Then wanted the landlords of the stores he kept to take a reduction in rent by using the old ” you can have a percentage of net profits i.e the amount of rent was receptive to how well the store done!

I don’t know if its been mentioned already but NUFC.com are saying we’ve put in a bid of over 10m for a striker.

There very rarely wrong and have broken many stories over the years.
It looks like theres actually something in this one fingers crossed.

    here you go…

‘Having been convinced that the ongoing shortage of goals cannot be solved from within, United owner Mike Ashley has now sanctioned the signing of a striker to shoulder the scoring burden with Papiss Cisse.

Following preliminary talks with the unidentified player in question, a bid in excess of £10m has now been lodged with their current club’.

Yes it is when anyone does. I was specifically refering to the call centres that popped up in india a few years ago and proceeded to employ many locals to annoy the sh1t out of the British 😀
