It seems that Newcastle will be looking to bring in two new strikers this summer, and if we can get somebody like Loic Remy through the door, then maybe Newcastle can bring in a young striker with good potential.
Jorgen Locadia – 19 year-old budding PSV striker
And one young player who had a good season last term was PSV’s 19 year-old striker Jurgen Locadia, who scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for the Dutch side, and played alongside 24 year-old Tim Matavž, who we profiled last night.
Jurgen began his career in 2001 when he joined VV Bargeres at just seven years old, and he then he played at FC Emmen, RKSV Sarto and Willem II before joining PSV in 2010.
Locadia made his debut in September of 2011 for PSV, when he came on as a sub in a KNVB Cup match against VVSB, and just a short eight minutes after coming on he scored his first goal for the PSV club.
But in that season he made only two appearances with that one goal for PSV
Jurgen was born in Emmen in the Netherlands, and he’s played for all the Dutch Youth sides from U17 through U21, but only once so far for the U21 side, so he is still developing at just 19 years old.
He turns 20 until November, and it could be a good time for Newcastle to consider the 6’3″ striker, and at the moment he would come at a decent price.
We have been told that Graham Carr has been scouting players in the Eredivisie last season, so we wonder if this lad has caught Graham’s attention?

you are always seem to want it both ways.
the players were fine when we finished 5th and pardew stumbled on a 433 when raylor got injured and benny was finally given a game.
last season was totally down to pardew not having a clue how to deal with ba wanting to play centrally. that cost us over half a season while we morphed into different formations sometimes 3 in one game!
Personally I think Ash and Carr have done us proud with the squad we have but we have massively failed in appointing a manager on Llambias’ say so who always gets found out after a good start and simply has no plan B.

Froome is the boss. Well, maybe could Quintana attack him in hte mountain, but anyway, Froome will tear him apart in the time trial.

that is because bill gives his opinions base on reality what he doesn’t do is base stuff from what happens on his computer games
on a computer game it all comes down to what the person playing it has done because he controls everything.
in the real world pardew’s main job is to pick the players formation and subs. once the game kicks off it is then up to the players what they do for instance ba was poor when cisse first arrived but then out of nowhere he became his former self.
why would any manager tell a player to be offside every match which is how cisse was.
HBA has had bust ups with lot’s of managers already just ask blanch.

are you serious, Pardew sets up players, strains all creativity out of them. He is the source of 90% of all problems

Comment #135so are you telling me that pardew tells cisse to stay offside and also saying that he told the opposition to cause the injuries and so he would be happy for tiote to keep getting booked.
so are you saying that you don’t mind Ashley at all and accept how he is running the club.
well can you then now tell people like myself in one long post why it should all lie with pardew because I want proof not these two line posts.

Comment #139I like your thoughts greg @116 although Ince and Hoillett will probably be too expensive. Ince especially seems full of himself probably because of his father at least in part. Taraabt may be too selfish with the ball and too skilled for Pardew’s liking mate.

4-3-3, thank god for that. Cheers for the update. If we’re going to play 4-3-3 though does that mean we wont be getting a striker as they’ll more then likely want to play through the middle and that’s Cisse’s position?

munster unless you are from northern irland you are missing my point.
what country is andy murrey from?
is he from the United Kingdom or is he from Scotland
I live in England or do I live in the UK
England were in the euros and England are of course a team that is part of the UK
celtic and rangers want to drop into the premier league but is that not English?
the difference is that the republic of iraland is not part of the UK
but Scotland is part of the UK

Thanks for the update and you managed to keep your real identity quiet while maintaining your cover as a normal contributor to the blog.
JackButler must have a very ill-informed club source saying that you’re being transferred – your signing hasn’t been announced yet.
Anyway, as you’re one of our Director of Football’s first major signing, you’ll be as safe as him!
By the way, are you famous?

Comment #149indian you can’t put masses of blame on them both it has to be aimed at one or the other.
it works like this
if we aim the blame at pardew then we must have a very good team so then Ashley doesn’t need that many players all he has to do is avoid selling what we have he has did most of the time apart from carroll. with remy last January he probably thought himself it was certain remy was joining.
if you blame Ashley well any manager will not do that well because they will be too concerned on weather or not they should risk a player also ones like ba a manager would do what ever the player wants just so he stands less chance of loosing him.
the way it works is owners and scout give the manager the resources he needs to get a team.
football in general is now a buissess.
