Cabaye Left Out Of Newcastle Team After Arsenal Bid

7:08 pm, Monday, August 19th, 2013 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 1,034 Comments

manchester-city-crestnufc

What a way to start the season – as Newcastle United have left Yohan Cabaye out of the side for tonight’s game at Manchester City, and that follows a bid from Arsenal of 12M that was immediately rejected but maybe there’s more going on behind the scenes than we realized.

As expected Yanga-Mbiwa has come in for the injured Davide Santon at left-back, but the terrible news for Newcastle fans is that Yohan Cabaye has been withdrawn from the squad – which usually happens when a player is near the Newcastle exit door.

Yohan is not on the bench, but the two Ameobi brothers are – and it seems that Yoan Gouffran gets the start in place of Cabaye – but we expect Cheick Tiote and Moussa Sissoko to be in central midfield tonight – although Jonas can play there too.

It also looks like Newcastle will play in a 4-2-3-1 formation tonight with Papiss Cisse the lone striker up front, and there’s even more reason for Newcastle to get a good result tonight, since it seems Yohan Cabaye could soon be on his bike.

But of course we suppose Yohan  could have picked up an injury and just cannot play tonight…..and there again maybe PSG have finally come in with a massive bid?

And in our poll with almost 1800 having voted today – 64% think we’ll lose and only 17% – one in six – think we can win this game.

What do you think?

Teams:

Manchester City (4-4-2): Joe Hart; Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany (c), Joleon Lescott, Gael Clichy; Jesus Navas, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, David Silva; Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero
Substitutes: Costel Pantilimon, Aleksandar Kolarov, Javi Garcia, Jack Rodwell, James Milner, Samir Nasri, Alvaro Negredo

Newcastle United (4-2-3-1): Tim Krul; Mathieu Debuchy, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini (c), Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa; Cheick Tiote, Jonas Gutierrez; Hatem Ben Arfa, Moussa Sissoko, Yoan Gouffran; Papiss Cisse
Substitutes: Rob Elliot, Paul Dummett, Vurnon Anita, Sylvain Marveaux, Gabriel Obertan, Sammy Ameobi, Shola Ameobi

    Bye bye Cabaye then

  • 2 colwell // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:10 PM

Any team with 2 ameobis in it shows a poor squad.

    pi55 off cabaye

If we have accepted that 10/12 million bid, were mad?!

If I was Anita, I’d pack my bags and p**s off as Pardew will not use him

  • 7 hdavid23 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:11 PM

We rejected the bid, so did he refuse to play today? Wouldn’t surprise me at all to be honest.

If cabaye pulled out due to a ten mill bid that’s unprofessional, if Pards pulled him out why, will Anita ever get a chance? Calling Jonas man of the match

  • 9 colwell // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:11 PM

So no doubt Cabs will be off, Arsenal forcing our hand like we do to so many players.

  • 10 nico // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

That’s him gone. Give us 12 days to replace him.
    Will we bother though?

  • 11 toonarmydownsouth // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

Better be down to a injury, he’s still our player and its stupid not to use him ffs, especially as the bid has been rejected!
Bottom line your our player you fcuking play lad

  • 12 niafron // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

    @Jonny

We accepted nothing, this is far worst i think…

Well, sure wasn’t possible to start this season without such a tragedy…

  • 13 Slatymag // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

Well that’s a great bargaining technique – start of saying “we want three times what you’re offering”, then leave the player out of the squad.

  • 15 Big Pappa Cissé // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

Protecting the asset . Bye bye Yohan . This pre-season has been like a FCUKING nightmare :

    .No players in
    .Kinnear director of football.
    .Cabaye on his way out

And that team is just the icing on the cake, total garbage . Not watching tonight like :(

  • 16 AmeriToon // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

    Dont sell cabaye
    Dont ever sell cabaye
I just dont think you understand

  • 17 Ketsbaia9 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:12 PM

I don’t care, but Marveaux should be starting ahead of players like Gutierrez and Gouffran. Anita should be playing instead of Tiote. We have no attacking midfielder in the team, so were not going to score.

  • 18 Charlie in the Gallowgate // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:13 PM

If Cabaye is the first of many – if so glad I did not buy a 10 year season ticket

  • 19 NUFCarter // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:13 PM

So basically arsenal have decided our lineup. Bloody hell next week we will get a bid for every one of our plays and we will fail to field a team.

  • 20 ToonDarnSarf // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:13 PM

    naptoon

I never said Cabaye wouldn’t go. I’ve said before that the only way that we can sign players like Cabaye at the moment is if they see us as a stepping stone to an established CL team. You complaining about us not replacing Carroll in the same transfer window (with no time to go) is about as relevant as NUFC’s bank manager complaining that they didn’t sell Cabaye in January to make up for those signings.

I’ve made my views quite clear on what I expect from the club this transfer window and this season. Your overreaction to be is just unnecessary.

  • 21 Toon1978 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM

PLAY ANITA AND MARVEAUX Pardew you total grade A jockey!!

  • 22 geordie157 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM

Surely we wouldn’t accept any less than 15mill.

If he goes who do we sign, will Hughes, McCarthy maybe

  • 23 Sinner // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM

I thinking Cabaye put in a transfer request, tbf i don’t mind him with the club showing no ambition!

  • 28 AmeriToon // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:14 PM

Anita and tiote behind sissoko would be amazing

  • 29 nico // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:15 PM

Jonas playing central instead of Anita? I’m not a fan of Anita but surely he must play now Cabaye’s not there.
I think Arsenal will up offer to 15 million and he’ll be gone.
I hate supporting Newcastle, Cabaye could have still played, but as I’ve said before, French are like that.

  • 30 ToonDarnSarf // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:15 PM

    “to me” I meant.

As for Cabaye, it still doesn’t mean he’s off. Obviously he’s unsettled and Pardew’s job is to pick the best team for the job. Arsenal still have to bid enough for him. It’s happened before with other clubs, sometimes they go and sometimes they stay.

  • 31 Big Pappa Cissé // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:15 PM

  • 38 JackButler // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:16 PM

If this total dip sh*t of a manager plays Jonas in the centre and leave’s Anita out thats should be ground for dismissal

  • 39 Ketsbaia9 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:17 PM

We need to get Willian and Eriksen in with the Cabaye money and sign Alderweireld and Gomis. We need to sack Pardew and find a manager that’ll play ANITA and MARVEAUX more.

  • 40 paul24 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:17 PM

If Cabaye leaves and isnt replaced I’m going round to Mike Ashleys house and setting his kids on fire.

  • 41 nico // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:17 PM

Of course it means he’s off. Unsettled, what a load of rubbish. If I was thinking about moving jobs so I didn’t turn up for work saying it was cos I was unsettled I don’t think it would go down well.

Willian is going to Spurs or Liverpool for 20-30 million. We won’t be getting him. Will Hughes from Derby maybe. Nobody more likely.

  • 54 BuckLuck // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:18 PM

Our midfield might be a bit heavy and slow against quick City players. 3-0

  • 55 check the toastie // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:18 PM

Everton have bids for Fellieni and Baines on Friday both play Saturday, we have a stupid shite paultry bid from Arsenal for Cabaye and he’s out.

Percy will do anything to get Jonas in the team.

Actually the team is pretty decentish apart from Jonas instead of Anita, but I am annoyed why Cabaye has been pulled when we have basically received no credible offer for him.

Non of our midfielders can pass the ball under pressure we are in deep shit.

  • 56 niafron // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:18 PM

    It’s uncredible…

Really hope it doesn’t come from the player, would be a disgrace.

  • 57 KayZey78 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:18 PM

What a complete joke of a season this already is turning out to be. Gawd…

Can’t believe what is happening with this club… Just keeps getting worse and worse.

  • 58 wingspan // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:18 PM

he had to play this team surely:

    ———–Krul
    Debuchy-Taylor-Colo-Yanga
    ——–Tiote–Sissoko
    Benny—-Marv—Gouff/Jonas
    ———–Cisse

If he has to play Jonas fair enough, but on the wing! Sissoko isnt a Number 10 – Marv is a natural number 10.

All this selection tells me is Sissoko will play pretty deep to try and win the midfield battle so Cisse will be on his lonesome upfront feedig off scraps again.

    Gonna be a looooooooong Night.

    Sweet suffering christ…

As if this Arsenal big hasn’t clusterfcuked us enough with regards to Cabaye he’s also hoyed Jonas in there while also staring Mbwia at LB.

Mbwia showed and I’m confident he’ll be more than capable at holding his own tonight, so that would have definitely allowed for Marveux to come in.

Take away both Ameobis and at least the bench looks strong.

Lets see what has changed in terms of tactcs and style of play since last season then eh.

  • 61 jazzyp // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:19 PM

  • 62 ToonDarnSarf // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:19 PM

Hardly Pardew’s fault that some idiot leaked a derisory bid for Cabaye to the press on the eve of our first match! Whoever did that should be made to live in Sunderland!

I don’t blame Cabaye if he goes to an established CL team either, wouldn’t blame any of our players going for that to be honest.

  • 63 Charlie in the Gallowgate // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:19 PM

Said all along this window the only way we will get anyone in is if we sell one of our ‘purplies’.

Could it be Cabaye is on his way to the emirates to have his medical.

Could be the beginning of the end for the TOON and their French contingent because he is their ‘leader’ will their heads be turned and want to be away

I’m a 20 year old from Australia, I’ve been a diehard Newcastle fan for 14 years. What’s being done to our club by Mike Ashley (and Pardew) has gone on long enough. We deserve more than this. Start a fu#king riot and force these clowns away from our club. Something needs to be done. I’m awake at 3am for this game and I’m not even excited for it. Just pure passion and hope that maybe we’ll see a change.

  • 109 ToonDarnSarf // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:25 PM

    nico

You don’t know what exactly has happened yet! Modric was shocking for the first month or so after Redknapp wouldn’t let him go to Madrid, then he sorted himself out, played a blinder second half of the season and got his move the following summer.

We can’t afford to carry a player whose mind isn’t right.

To be quite honest I think i will route for City tonight. I want NUFC to get hammered. Why cause lets not kid we are no way good enough. Cabaye is gone, which means Debuchy is going too.

We deserve it. Ashley is a c***, JFK is a moron ad Pardwho is well I have no words…

Pardew wa right when he said the midtable teams are now getting stronger that’s bcoz newcastle nowdays under pardew is a mediocre team aiming to survive whereas other teams are far more ambitious. Southampton has spent £15m on Osvaldo and i don’t remember we spent that much in the last 4 years on any one quality player except bargain buys. That’s why a player like Gutierrez starts and play every match for newcastle.

so it seems Pardew has pulled Cabaye out of the squad as he thinks the bid will unsettle the team. If I was cabaye i’d tell him to F off and demand to play like someone said.

Tbf I am surprised he didn’t get played by Pardew because the excuse that ‘the bid for Cabaye earlier really unsettled the team and playing him made it worse’ would have been fantastic if we loose and very respectable ha.

I would be pleasently suprised if Jonas plays as right winger and Ben Arfa in the nr 10 role. Not that it will win us the match, but today it’s all about the signs for me. Doesn’t expect anything other than work ethic from the players and guts from Pardew.

  • 211 Ketsbaia9 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:46 PM

Santon will be a bigger loss than Cabaye tonight.

  • 212 toon kk // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:46 PM

Pardew must get pissed off working under MA, he has absolutely no say in anything that goes on. Its a job he loves so he puts up with sh.t

  • 213 Oleg G // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:46 PM

Less than 20M will be just unacceptable.

Wouldn’t want to sell him, but if he wants to go, then at least for 20M. Less than that is just not enough.

it was bound to happen sooner or later. He’s too good and ambitious for a club that has pardummy as manager./ Ashley better demand north of £25 million for the player. We need the funds to find suitable replacements

  • 219 toonking // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:47 PM

the pardew interview that I have just seen says it all.

pardew should not deserve any negativity because right now he is a manager will to do a job which most managers would hate.

nearly every transfer window has been awful
carroll gets sold in the first one
last summer when we were in Europa league he was not allowed a bigger squad
January he doesn’t get the striker replacement.
now this summer we look to be loosing cabaye.

bloggers ask yourself this question would you be happy to have a life so restricted?

  • 220 gonufc (Release the Hatem Bomb) // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:47 PM

Pardew did say about 3 days ago “It will be very difficult to keep some of our best players” (or similiar) so I agree he practically was either asking for it or preparing us for it!

I just agreed with someone that he isn’t necessarily off. This blog is going to be full of people venting unless we play bloody well against City and I don’t blame fans for that one bit! I’m just not going to stick around to read it all, we all know what’s going to be said because we’re all p*ssed off with this!

So I’m off to the gym to sit on a bike and watch the match for as long as I can take it…

  • 249 beddersmag // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:52 PM

No way we are selling for that amount. Would take mccarthy as a replacement if could get 25 and clear 10m profit. He more suited to a tough premiership season than cabaye who tends to go missing. Lets face it he would thrive in a top side swanning around pulling strings under little pressure.

However, i wouldnt rule out cabaye using this to renegotiate his contract and staying. All the top players are looking to do this with all the extra sky income players and agents want their 70%

  • 250 Ketsbaia9 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:53 PM

Cabaye isn’t one of our better players. I prefer Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Anita etc. I would’ve been more upset if we lost Santon, Anita, Ben Arfa etc.

  • 251 believeintoon // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:53 PM

    I won’t blame Pardew.
I think he’s doing the best in his ability(maybe not good enough though).
But he has the passion and desire to bring a success to the club, and I like that

So MA and JFK has to give him what he wants.
But unfortunatly, it’s hard to say he’s recieving it.
To change these negative things, first thing is not to blame the manager.
We have to force to change the useless owner

  • 258 Ben-Arfa11 // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:53 PM

Who Cares what price he goes at.

Why do me and you or whoever else worry about if its more than 20 million or less than 20 million for sure it wont be reinvested in the sqaud

if me or you or whoever were playing football manager we know for a fact that 10 million wouldnt be good enough for a quailty player like cabaye it would have to be atleast 20 million but who cares what price we sell him at its only going into ashleys pockets im afraid.

cabaye krul ben-arfa tiote are my favourites players more so krul but if cabaye goes its a huge blow to the whole french team we got as cabaye was suppose to be the leader of the pack.

i always thought cabaye was loyal and i admire players like that but on the other hand you see clubs like southampton investing in huge amounts of money and we can only conjure out a loan deal with all the tv money we get etc shows that i cant blame him wanting to move on but prefer him to move to psg than another english club.

very sad night for toon fans.

we really need to boycott games and really pile the pressure on ashley to sell its the only way to get the good feeling back of this once famous football club

  • 259 northernirishtoon // Aug 19, 2013 at 7:53 PM

I’m more worried about the effect on the rest of the players.

Was cabaye not heavily involved in sissoko, debuchy, mbiwa joining.

    Great preparation for the game

    Well there you go everyone…..

Most of you wanted 433. Pardew plays it, with only jonas in for cabaye out of the best available line up. There are no “out of position” players. And we are still losing. So now if you blame pardew, you are blaming him for doing exactly what you wanted.

    SBergenwall
Pardew is the man responsible for every player on the field. That said there will always be personal mistakes, but we do seem to produce a lot of these mistakes under Pardew.

I really want to see Taylor on the bench when Santon is back. Mbiwa har far more potantial and positional awereness.

  • 498 Markaccus // Aug 19, 2013 at 8:36 PM

Players are playing like spoiled pansies who expect life to be given to them on a silver platter. Totally gutless. They are scared to play at citeh. Hba and colo are giving it a go. Everyone else is hiding, including jonas who usually gives all he can

The worst start of the season I’ve ever seen.
Not just the result, but the horrible attitude by the players with no passion, the negative news about Cabaye and so on.

Avoid the relegation and I’m satisfied for this season

  • 624 TorqToon // Aug 19, 2013 at 8:51 PM

Devon – completely agree! Taylor is awful and has been for a long time! People shut me up and talked about his passion and geordie spirit, but it’s not enough. Yanga is better. Much better.

  • 626 Oleg G // Aug 19, 2013 at 8:51 PM

That was intentional by Saylor, no reason to defend him. He didn’t fell for it, and Aguero wasn’t looking for it. It is an unnatural movement of the hand. He was trying to get him there.

Very good by S.T . Left us with 10 players.

Debuchy to be sent off next as he can’t be ar3ed to finish the match

  • 649 BuckLuck // Aug 19, 2013 at 8:54 PM

    BlacknWhiteBarmy

He was the manager of the season two seasons ago, yes. But the football he produces, not only for Newcastle, lack entertainment and tactical depth.
The perfect example was against WBA(i think last season) when we totaly dominated the match until Steve Clarke did one adjustment. Pardew didn’t have a clue how to counter that.

Ashley is a cheap owner and Pardew is a limited coach. Together they are a disaster.

  • 650 Trent Toon // Aug 19, 2013 at 8:54 PM

I really think ben arfa and cabaye deserve to play in a better team. I would let them go if they wanted. Im really disilusioned about this club. I used to think so much about it and look forward to the games, but I just am numb about it now. The Club has lost its soul it just aint the same anymore and its the fat controller who has surgically removed any life from it.

  • 730 Newcastle for alltid // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:05 PM

Starting with two strikers away at Man City is just naive to say the least. No backtracking from Gouffran made City able to completely dominate us. We have had some moves that seemed promising, but they`re ruined in the end by our lack of accuracy. That`s where the top teams are miles ahead of us, and what makes City crush us. Oh, and they also have a game plan.

What has been the lowest point for me in the first half is how our players have gotten frustrated. Instead of toughening up and play football, they channel their frustration into rash challenges and needless of-the-ball arguing. Some of our players – Debuchy, Saylor, Mbiwa have looked like crybabies tonight.

In addition, whatever happened to Saylor? He has been absolutely shocking the last couple of years.

  • 737 toonbrother // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:06 PM

the problem with newcastle fans and pardumb is they are easily dazzled by colocinni (ultimately pointless) prancing about going forward. He is a defender his primary job is to defend and he has been a constant in our worst defensive performances over the last season. He is a dishonest player always hides from the line of fire. if only he left in the summer . f’g c**t

  • 738 Talentet // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:06 PM

Fat Mike, you are destroying our club! We are a selling club with no ambition! Pulling Cabaye out of the match because of a low bid? You clearly want the money back you spent in january you fat pig! And Alan Pardew, please leave the club! You know nothing about football…

  • 739 Cabyebye // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:06 PM

If we have to sell Cabaye to bring in more players, I have no problem with that, but he is a pro, we needed him out there tonight and the whole plan went tits up as soon as the Arsenal bid came in.

Im sick of this shit, get Cabaye out ASAP get McCarthy, Ince/Sinclair, Matri & Alderwaid. Spend some money Ashley you arsehole.

Poyet for now. at least we’ll see some good football

  • 743 Spuggy // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:07 PM

Why would we expect any difference. This is exactly the same team that ended a terrible season with remy injured.

We never learn from last 2 summer windows with all teams around us strengthening.

We should have spent 30m this window. Minimum.

  • 744 Pokat // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:07 PM

Glad Guti is injured? One of the better players on the pitch? mackem moron, go away and stay away.

Not going to support NUFC if we dont get players in? See sentence No.1.

Biggest failure tonight is our composure, the scoreline is about what we expected. They are far better than us. But stupidity is unforgiving.

Carra as a pundit? I give him about 3-4 games before he is ejected from the sky studios, archetypal whingeing scouse voice sure to irritate his own mother.

Tonights result means very little so dont get upset about it, plenty of good teams will go to the etihad for a proctology appointment I guarantee it.

  • 745 bosamuelson // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:07 PM

I’m not worried about the performance.
Actually they are passing better than last season.
What makes me worry is the attitude and lack of passion from the player.
Something has to be done to lift the atmosphere around the team and the fans.
Keeping Cabaye and a new signing will be a great lift

    1. Cisse is bad. Really bad. He havent been good at all. We need Remy + new striker.

    2. Second goal Sissoko destroyed the offside trap. Is he tired?

    3. Why 4-4-2? Should hav def played 4-5-1.

    4. Gouffran is better striker than Cisse.

    5. Ben arfa is different class than rest of the team.

“The early impressions made by Manchester City’s new signings have been good. Jesus Navas has impressed especially, with plenty of that dart and devil you expect from diminutive Spaniards, while Fernandinho has turned in a polished first 45 minutes.

The early thoughts on Newcastle’s new signings is that they desperately need a whole shedload of them.”

@732 clearly the single molecule that constitutes your brain is incapable of understanding that Pardew is not the one wearing the jersey. His uselessness as a manager manifests in the players he picks . Definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different. Starting colocinni over and over and expecting anything other than cheap goals conceded is the definition of stupidity. Youre obviously far too obtuse to understand this so why you STFU

There is nothing wrong with Cisse. He is a goal poacher and you need to be able to get the ball to him which we are incapable of.

If you want a striker that also creates then you have to pay for them. And Mashly won’t. This team we are playing just spent 90 mill. We have spent nothing. If we sell Cabaye for 25million then we will probably bring in 2 x 12 mill players not a 25 mill midfield equivelant.

Well, im as annoyed about that half as much as the next man but im going to offer my two pennies….. Same old story but we did slightly pass the ball quicker and pressed a tad more!!!!! Guti did well…. Pressed well, tackled and tried to create. HBA looks class and very dangerous. That’s the positives. The negatives….. The midfield seem a little stiff and nervous and failing to mark their men at times but the movement of the city midfield will do that to most teams. There is a change if somewhat what minimal though. We really do need a top class forward. a quality centre half and a winger as a bare minimum. I’m gutted sitting typing this but I can see a chink of light in the darkness.

Before the game the players knew they were up against it…then the Cabaye debacle, then we go 2-0 down, then Jonas goes off (I know some will say that was a blessing but an injury to a starter is always a blow), then madness from Saylor (he must have been p*ssed off) and we’re getting stuffed.

  • 965 AaranD // Aug 19, 2013 at 9:50 PM

Ashamed of my team tonight, yes it maybe City and their millions of pounds but it’s been a woeful performance.

We lack discipline massively and have done ever since Pardew has been in charge. I don’t think the players respect him very much at all.

We have NO shape, NO game-plan NO NOTHING. Our attacks rely on whether HBA can conjure some magic. If this continues after this City game then we are in serious trouble.

Tiote is clueless, smashing the ball at the Center backs putting us under pressure then smashing it at Cisse when he’s on his own. He just doesn’t think, AT ALL!

Hopefully this is a one off and we see a better side in the next few games.

Cabaye’s head was not in it

Krul is world class and we must not sell him

what do you think now of these so call super stays?

it was clear from day 1 these players are over rated forget the fact they are internationals because players like shane ferguson are international but is he quality no.

this team right now is simply that 10 game upbeat run was an unbeaten run for a reason

simpson and raylor were two FB who were ready and waiting for them crosses, they weren’t miles down the pitch causing the midfield to get scrambled up.

also you had 2 forwards that linked up well together and always stayed close, it wasn’t a lonely striker who now has midfielders nowhere near him and wide men always running into the centre

4-4-2 was the formation that should be used and I bet that is what he would have wanted to use but when the owner is forcing him to use the players that greedy bastard chooses it a recipe for disaster.

BTW 4-4-2 is not hoofball or boring only a stupid excuse the basher want to use to aim the blame at pardew unless you are putting pelegrini and moyse down as rubbish managers because both them teams did 4-4-2

  • 1009 jazzyp // Aug 19, 2013 at 10:00 PM

WE AS FOOTBALL FANS NEED TO VOICE OUR CONCERN DIRECTLY TOWARDS MIKE ASHLEY THE FAT GREEDY C***. he has the money just not willing to spend it while other less wealthy teams have. dont let Padew fool you he has been payed by Ashley to say we have no money. if no signings have been made by 2nd august now then we need to take a strike other wise it will be relegation and for a club as great as ours and fans as loyal as ours isnt good enough.

    2) Might highlight Ashley and JK that in fact purchasing players is how to improve a team.

P.S. Some people seem surprised about tonight’s result, wasn’t it entirely predictable?

My gosh. What a disgrace this pre-season has been.
Get rid of 4 players, and now Cabaye. Bring in 1 player, who is injured and on charges of rape. Awesome.
Typical Newcastle, lose more players than they bring in.

Also, I am getting sick of Pardew. He never plays Marveaux. Sylvain is up there with Ben Arfa, but he prefers to play Jonas, who is useless. Absolutely useless. Typical Newcastle. Just survive the season, and bring in 1 player. Wow…

    What a disgrace tonight was.

How can Cisse be expected to score when there’s no one who knows how to cross the ball into the box?
Debuchy responsible for at least two of the goals. Also he and Steve I am a Geordie Taylor got the biggest slice of luck when Mariner didn’t give them two nailed on penalties.
But no doubt the Pardew out brigade will be rubbing their hands at the result.
Game over at half-time when that idiot got himself sent off. Should never play another game for Newcastle United.

  • 1030 SeanNufc87 // Aug 19, 2013 at 10:19 PM

    behave yourselves!

pardew WILL more than likely say we trained with cabs in the middle all week… because we have.

stevie T was an idiot, put us in a horrid position, i think pardew will tell him hes lost his place to MYM for the forseeable future

anita was poor, as poor as if not worse than anyone

tiote was decent for 20 minutes, then back to last season form, drop him.

debuchy, good going forward, atrocious in defence, but nasri goal was colos fault.

i want pardew to tell people as it is, i want him to say taylor was stupid and that arsenal were d1cks on the bid, we were played off the pitch and we will do better than west ham, if he doesnt hes spineless but judging him on this game is rediculous, theyre front 3 cost more than our team alone. if we lose to west ham ill be furious, but this is a bitter pill to take but not one that will kill us, it was expected.
