Ben Arfa will probably get it but for Sissoko was all over the pitch today and he definitely has to be one of our first choice CMs … way better than Tiote imo

Voted Sissoko, great goal from Benny. Remy and Cisse where actually linking up… something Shola and Cisse can’t do at all. Also Gouffran can cross the ball!!!!

Much better in the second half, but we still need 5 major signings.

WHY DID IT TAKE PARDEW 78MIN TO MAKE PLAYERS COMMIT TO ATTACKING POSITIONS ON THE FINAL THIRD? something is up, and also, Cabaye is off I hope so. Anita did everything correctly and brilliantly still subbed off.

Cabaye came on, kept giving it away and fouled Fulham at the edge of the box which could of changed the game completely. Hes passes got to nowhere.

STOP PROTECTING HIM, ANITA IS MILES AHEAD!!

The best last 20 mins in an absolute age.

This was how we played during that 6 game 433 winning streak.

Pardew please don’t dismiss it again that’s when all the problem started. Remy can be our Ba out left in the front 3.

Remy just seemed to massively lift us

Gouffran and Ben Arfa out wide cutting in looks more balanced than Marveaux on the left. I think how we lined up upfront after Remy came on is how should be lining up every game. If those 4 are in first 11, shouldn’t take long for Cisse to break his duck.

    And Arfa magic as usual.

Have you even been watching the game Ruddy and Turkish? Seriously.. talk about negativity! We’ve been looking pretty great against a fullham side who’s had a good start to the season… We had som trouble in front of the goal, but atleast we’re creating chances.. When a supporter does’nt go crazy with joy over a hard earned victory you have to start doubting his conviction!! HWTL!!!! We’ve started winning 😀 Now lets keep winning

Not gonna lie, im pretty pleased with that second half. Hopefully we see something like anita, sissoko, cabaye behind benny, gouffran and cisse/remy next week

Defense fantastic. If taylor, tiote or jonas walk back into the side ill be very disappointed

    Rotonda, exactly.

If I have any trust left in Pardew I would put it in him using 433 again. He stayed with it for a bit in that 2011-12 season.

Can’t remember why we ditched it though.

agree!! Anita is more class than cabaye. shola and cisse are the only weaknesses. We create chances alot. They dont use them. COLOCINNI IS THE BEST! DEBUCHY as well , his volley was crazy. HATEM BOMB! , REMY and new striker upfront next week!

I thought Anita played pretty well.

Very quick, tidy, rarely ever misplaces a pass, and always looking to pass forwards rather than sideways.

Shola just kills us though. Nothing to do with his ability either, but he’s just so static that when a team is defending with 10 men against us we have no way of breaking them down. He and Cisse could learn to move a little.

Mind you, I don’t blame them too much for being static – they’ve been running for 12 months and barely touching the ball.

Thought Cabaye was terrible when he came on.

Thought the back for looked good, Debuchy and Mbiwa played miles better.
Anita was solid, Sissoko was everywhere.
HBA was frustrating and brilliant all at the same time.
Think Marveaux is officially an impact sub.
Ameobi and Cisse were shocking together.

Same team next week but swap Remy for Shola and Marveaux for Gouffran.

ben arfa motm, ten times more important to us than cabaye is. doesn’t always come off but he tries things which other players wouldnt dare. no on else could have scored that goal for us.

im a big taylor fan and colo fan, but yanga is great, definitely better than taylor, will be better than colo.

long way to go but that was a much better performance

Benny won us that game individually today, we can’t expect him to do it every week, we need fire power asap and service even more than fire power, we need a few creative players.

Cabaye was poor. Why did Pardew take Anita off? Why does Cabaye keep playing in the defensive midfield role? We’re never going to score many goals with Cabaye in the team. He’s an attacking midfielder and should be playing further forward. Get rid of him immediately and sign a fast creative midfielder (i.e. Coutinho) etc.

WOW. The difference when Remy came on and the system turned into more of a 433 formation was huge. Similar to Newcastle’s annihilation of West Brom away two seasons ago. Please may that replace the utterly average and blunt system of the first half.

Fulham side who’ve had a good start to the season? They were totally outplayed by Sunderland and got a lucky 1-0 win and were hammered by Arsenal.

Fulham are pathetic, which was amply shown there this afternoon. But don’t let me p*ss on your parade, one wonder strike and apparently it was a good performance.

The last 15mins were a positive sign, but nothing more than that.

That is exactly why HBA is in my fantasy NUFC blog league team.

Loic Remy is going to be an NUFC great!! Him and gouffran were utter class when they came on not to mention colo and Mapous fine display coupled with Santon and Debuchy impressive game.

I can’t decide on he motm. HBA or COLO??

now do you see why I have been shouting so much that we need a winger
all during the first half we e so compact that Fulham were finding it so easy o close us down not one of the players we started with have got the pace you need for that this is the premier league not the French league.

it was once remy comes on we finally got the width we needed on not one side but both sides also we had the CM who were creative down the middle too.

this team just needs 1 forward and 1 winger then go 4-4-2 but this is not just any 4-4-2 it is a one which can go 4-3-3 which is just like it was that year we went so good and finished 5th

the team I would have is

    ____________krul___________
    debuchy__mbiwa_colo__santon
    HBA__cab/anita__sissoko__winger/Sammy
    ________remy___cisse/striker

and what can happen to help confuse the opposition is
when we are on the attack we have 1 side doing the cross while the other side is in the box
    _______sissoko
    HBA_______cabaye____sammy
    _______and the two forwards.
