We are joint fourth lads. lets go for that champions league spot!! Can’t wait for the Hull game. Thinking about a Remy, HBA and gouffran attack makes me dribble. Make it happen Pardew

when ever Ramsey scores a goal, doesn’t a celebrity seem to die in the next week…..?

HBA was absolute class in a crystal clear glass. He is so important to NUFC and if he keeps this up, there is no way Dechamps can ignore him.

S.Taylor is going to find it hard to get a CB spot not. Mbiwa and Colo were excellent. Mbiwa is solid and Colo can read the game like a book.

Nobody bashing Pardew? Thats like gold dust on this blog.

Think Pardew was a class act today in selection and subs. If this is how we are going to play this season we will be on fire!

I just hope Mike backs pardew to give this season a good go because i believe Pardew can do it for this club, he just needs backing. The inclusion on the new fitness staff has really helped.

Remy was different class today as well.
Sissoko and Anita bossed the midfield and if we can get Cabaye back to his best and Cisse scoring again we are looking good at this point

Over the moon. Didn’t think we had it in us to get the win after conceding equalizer.

Anita is a shadow of himself when in the same team as cabaye. It has been mentioned on here before.

We looked tired near the end for a change. That is what it feels like to put it in first and second half. All the team gave 100%. No passengers which makes all the difference.

even tiote/goofy the subs had a cracker of a game ! i cant believe they actually made me smile about our club again after all the troubles we are going through 🙂

Great performance nice to see a cohesive team performance. Nice movement and passing.

Cn only criticise cisse for lack of apparent effort.

Players showed real ability and link up.

Moussa finally showed what he can do and his strengths making those runs from deep.

So many players able to run at get at the villa defence. That’s how we threatened.

I actually feel with remy and hba that Shola would be a better option up front just to hold the ball up.

That is what we can expect when playing away.

Against Fulham they parked the bus and made it difficult.

We could do alright away from home this season with the pace at our disposal.

24LGFUAD21 /- I thought that also , especially in the second half , Shola can hold it up a lot better than Cisse. Cisse just lacking confidence at the moment I think, looks nervous playing

HBA MOM, MYM second, reads the game so well and his pace is vital behind Colo.

Midfield 3 were good, Cabaye a little off the pace but did ok, just hope next week the same 11 play.

Cisse is the weak link now for me, touch around the box, finishing, pace, everything has gone for now, really think we could go with Remy up top when fit and Gouffran on the left. No matter how badly Cisse has played he has always been first choice, think he needs a kick up the backside.

My feelings about today reflect what I have felt for some time now . I have always felt that we just need confidence and that simply is that, this club has loads of talent and if we could forget all the negativity about Ashley and Kinnear etc: and just focus on what the team can do, then we all might be surprised. Pardews selection today seemed spot on as were his substitutions. The more wins this team gets , the greater will be the confidence. A win today is not like a win at Chelsea, but it is a step in the right direction, and let us proceed from this point on . There is little we can do about the negative aspects, but keep winning matches, and they will dissappear.

I have always said we have a good team and I still think we have a good chance this season of being higher up the table!! IF we can get rid of Cisse and get a decent CF in Jan I will be happy 🙂

Great win and great performance today from the lads.First time in a long time that Pardew played the right players in the right formation with the right attitude.

I thought debuchy had a fantastic game (barring letting agbonlahor go for that open goal chance) and is getting far better. Remy looked class and gives us a serious injection of pace up front

Only downsides would be that I would have liked to see sissoko break from deep with the ball some more (he did lots of it near the end). That and we dont seem to have the fitness levels to go for 90 minutes yet, but that should come (international break prob didnt help)

Also cisse looks very confidence striken. As soon as he gets he groove back we’ll look very nice going forward!

Hulls Figueroa must be shitting himself. They surely won’t be playing 3 at the back like they did against Cardiff after NUFC’s performance.

Great result and that for me is our best starting 11 . Debuchy and M’biwa looked like they have settled into life in the PL and played very well .

Anita broke up play well and passed crisply, Remy gave us another dimension and HBA ? , what else can you say 😉
