Geordie Fans Overwhelmingly Expect This Result Against Hull

On paper you  would expect Newcastle United to be able to win tomorrow at home to newly promoted Hull City, but no game in the Premier League is ever easy, and Hull are probably a better side than most people give them credit for, and these are the types of games that are really important for the Magpies this season – games at home that we are expected to win.

Vurnon Anita – deserves to keep his place tomorrow

According to our poll,  90% of fans expect a win tomorrow – and if you haven’t yet voted,  now is your chance.

How Will Newcastle Fare Against Hull City?

We expect the side for tomorrow to be unchanged from last Saturday, and maybe one change could be Cheick Tiote replacing Vurnon Anita in midfield, but we think the 24 year-old Dutchman has done everything necessary to keep his starting position for tomorrow.

So here’s the likely starting  line-up for tomorrow in a 4-3-3 formation:

Krul
Debuchy Coloccini (c) Yanga-Mbiwa Santon
Anita Cabaye Sissoko
Ben Arfa Cisse Remy

We suppose another potential move for Alan Pardew is to have the front three be  Ben Arfa, Remy and Gouffran, but we feel that Alan will keep an unchanged side for tomorrow afternoon, and hope that Papiss Cisse can get in among the goals.

But it’s almost certain that Gouffran will be introduced in the second half tomorrow afternoon in front of what is expected to be an almost sell-out crowd,  and maybe Yoan can get the winning goal tomorrow, as he did so brilliantly last week.

What would your team be for tomorrow?

Same as yours bar gouffran on the left and Remy up front.

Cisse has done nothing to deserve a start

I reckon we will give Brucie another spanking, by at least 3 goals.

nothing against checkboy , but Anita offers more to us out on the pitch

for the record I think tiote is still a very good player with not many options in front or at the side i him ,

I think it is surprisingly going to be a hard game for us tomorrow unlike what most think. I think we are going to draw tomorrow. 2-2.

Anita is quality and will only get better the more he plays.

I’d start Gouffran in the middle. Bring Cisse on for the last20 mins.

I would drom Tiote and Remy. Their respective court cases must be a worry on their minds.
Ooops, forgot how tiny their mids are, put them in!

Imo Cisse doesn’t deserve a place on the beach at the moment, he needs more playing time. He prity much useless at the moment.
He’s probably best playing for so long to build his confidence up and then taken off. He’s no good as a sub because he ain’t gonna help change us for the better.

Confident side and an early goal, I’m going to put my nuts on the table and say 4-0 home win for the toon, first one in only god knows how long.

Cabaye, Remy and 2 for Ben Arfa. Colo and Yanga have been solid, Debuchy and Santon looking great, can see a clean sheet and afew goals coming tommorow.

Just read a comment on last post by some Jamie lad..

What has that lad been smoking, Debuchy had one bad game this season and has been class since! He obviously has never been to a game and uses MOTD as his basis of that analysis! Only conceded 1 in 4 games (that was form a set piece) and yet he’s saying he’s terrible! Our best link up play comes down the right between him and HBA!

    Jamie go home, you’re drunk!

If we get an early goal, it will be a bit cagey, if they score early it will bring us out of our shell, no score and we will surge on to a win hopefully second half, don’t be surprised to see Tiote recalled, you know Pardew.

    Hull have absolutely nothing upfront.

On Debuchy, he’s an instant improvement on Simpson, I never saw Simmo bomb down the line once, he couldn’t beat his man, he used to just punt it up the line. He also used to get caught out of position too (somehow) and easily outpaced.
Attack is the best form of defence.
Mathieu needs to watch Zabaleta play and know when to go forward and when not to. He’s good at intercepting but he’s not quick enough to deal with balls behind him.

He’s 10x the player and the man that Simpson will ever be.

Don’t like it when people are too cocky. I’d be disappointed if we don’t win as it’s a match we should win – but no teams are easy these days and they are not mugs.

Lloyds bar from 9:30am tomorrow, on the lep from early, expect a super performance, hopefully not too smashed or not too many toilet visits to interfere in my enjoyment. Proper pub crawl.

Nowt better than a 3oclock kick off.

Idiots have an opinion that Debuchy is rubbish, yep of course they must be right, I mean the lad has only been picked in the French squad over the last 5 years. Nobbers, obviously their opinion means more than numerous top class managers he played under.

Debuchy is a super footballer, will get found out in behind now and then however take the rough with the smooth. Would you sooner have Simmo going through the motions overweight and disinterested, beggers belief some peoples perception of how good our team should be.

Weird how the blog is quiet when we are doing well.

And Pardew is still piss poor by the way.

We are a very unpredictable team! You never know how we’re going to play if we play well we can be very good, then again we are capable of playing the worst football in the premier league.
We seem to be playing with more confidence at the moment so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Gouffran must spearhead the team tomorrow, let Cisse sit on the bench because imo he shouldn’t be starting, how many times have we seen Gouffran come on the second half and have an instant impact i see more development in Gouffran than Cisse and when given enough games i wouldn’t be surprise if he scored more than Cisse

    Remy, Gouffran, HBA
    Sissoko, Cabaye, Anita

seriously guys if we have this lineup on attack i would expect it to be at least 3,4 – 0 to NUFC, but with Cisse at top i would only think of 2-0 to NUFC maybe 1-0

@ Black and White with an army lol

I reckon Cisse should have a couple more games before he gets dropped IMO .

The way we are set up now to be more attacking and using 4-3-3 will bring out the best of Cisse and he may find the form of when he firs joined us .

Against Villa if it weren’t for a good defensive block he would have tapped in Remy’s cross that fell to HBA .

If nothing changes then a spell on the bench might be good for him and Gouffran should get a shot . Nice that we have a half decent bench this season and we can afford to drop players like Cisse & Tiote .

Everyone quoting this famous 433 shite, last week was more 4231, Cabaye played in front of Anita and Sissoko, this fabled great 433 is a load of horse shite.

If ALF Pardew picks the best players we will continue to get results despite the idiot.

Pardew has given Cisse his backing so he starts. So he should.

Against a ‘lesser’ team a poacher like him should be thriving off Remy and Ben Arfa’s “offensive threat”. I expect atleast a 3 or 4-0 win, Cissr with 2, maybe Cabaye with a goal and definitely Ben Arfa creating 2 goals.

firstly – i dont think it is going to be a surprisingly hard game, it will be a hard game , but i dont think that is going to be a surprise, just coz we won last week against villa , we are still not there , i expect a tough draw, maybe a tight win if pards gets brave . Last week was probably our best result since chelsea last season , however , we didnt kick on from that result and i fear the same this time round. time will tell . I would love the villa game to be the start of a decent spell but i just cant trust pards to go for it , 1-1

Trouble is with the striker confidence thing is if you drop them might make the mojo disappear for longer.
He’ll start knocking them in again soon.
