NUFC’s only PL away wins since May 2012 have been vs AVFC (twice) & QPR & amassed only 16 points from their last 23 away games (W3, D7, L13)

you might like to hear some answers about the second half.

well me I would love to get some answers from people why the hell the French teams hardly progress past the group stages of the CL and also why the hell these very cheap players which we are linked with are not being stolen by a team such as united city Chelsea or Liverpool because them teams spend a much bigger sum in windows so why the hell would they ignore these cheap players we always are looking at.

Anyone else heard about a Dubai consortium looking for a premiership club?

Rumours they’re looking at palace ffs

Mike drop your price sell on and do one.
You’re killing the club through mediocrity presented as frugality. Not a single bit of speculate to accumulate which clubs to a certain extent need to do.

If good players consistently play shite and flirt with relegation, you’ve got to look at the manager, especially when the manager talks shite and his c.v. shows he has more than flirted with relegation throughout his managerial career.

The goals were only scored by a wonder goal (again) and a launch into the box and some good control by Remy.

That will only get you so far.

Everton took their foot off the gas in the second half. As someone mentioned, cruise control.

Once again, our shots were long rangers. Shooting from distance is needed in a game, but not at the expense of cut backs, one twos and shots within the box, which we have little to no idea of how of doing.

We played better in the second half… so we should! Have you seen the players in the side!!

toonking well that is the question but you could argue that 1st of all we couldn’t compete with them teams so we are looking at another pool and secondly i still think we have got good players through in sissko n mbwia but they really need to come good and it will take time?
chelsea man u and all the top teams look for already world class players to enhance there teams and to be fair there fans expect the same!
but the fact for me our only good player today overall was our only english player says alot!

First half we were completely outplayed, out-thought, they wanted it so much more than we did and fought to make it happen. First Half we were utter shite, completely rubbish; NO drive; NO passion; NO desire.

If thats the best Pardwho can deliver after 10 days of training, focus and preperation, he belongs back in the Ryman League, before he takes us there with him!!!!

How ironic that the man Pardew once dismissed as “the other guy” had to come in and shore up the defence.

To those not criticising Pardew, you need to take a look at the Hull game where we played Anita and Tiote in a six man defence. And can you not see that little Remy was a lone front man tonight in Pardew’s “offensive” line up? Yeah Gouffran played well, but he did his main work in defence.

I will tell you why these players are not that good.

a good player is not ever going to join a club which has won no trophy for 50 years, never consistant to being a CL team, doesn’t get bids from the top 4 teams and comes to a team who recently got promoted.

THIS IS A FACT WITH A CAPITAL F

ed please stop making players out to be so good when we linked with them.

This is not up to players any more, this is 100% manager fault. An our manager has long history of killing teams. Change manager and we ll see results.

That first half performance was the most embarrassed I have been as a toon fan for a long long time, that poor bairn crying, they should feel ashamed of themselves, the second half may have been better but that was expected as we had to throw caution to the wind and Everton sat back a bit, they still had other clear chances as well, Pardew really does not have a clue, and his coaching chums sitting there with their arms folded relays a horrible negative message, MA and JK watching stoney faced, they are gambling with our club again, I cannot exept lessons were not learned from last summer, total madness, Santon is awful, Mbiwa no heart same as Sissoko, Anita looked powder puff, we are were we are in the prem and deserve no better, six really tough games coming up and if we are above were we are at this moment after these I will be about as amazed as us putting a solid 90 mins in, (so long I cant remember)

    Manxpie:

We decided to go from playing attacking football (our strength this season) to playing for a draw or to hit Everton on the counter attack both of which we can’t do. We showed Everton far too much respect. Pardew was scared of the threat from Baines….there left back.

1st half, we had 3 very similar players on the pitch and playing through the middle, Sissoko, Anita and Tiote do not probe enough as midfielders. Sissoko is being played behind the CF or out on the wing…..this guy has only ever played as a defensive midfielder until he joined us, so please explain to me why Ben Arfa keeps playing out wide when clearly he should be playing in the no10 position.

Pardew went for it in the 2nd half reverted back to the formula that served us well in previous games (attacking). The team were clearly told in the first half to not close down and to drop off but that changed for the 2nd half. We will never achieve anything with Pardew as manager and with Ashley as the owner, West Brom showed ambition at the weekend and got a very good result, we showed no ambition by setting up so defensively and got what we deserved in that first half, poor poor manager who is well out of his depth.

what a load of rubbish. most of these players are respected internationals. besides, we’re playing the likes of Everton and Hull – not the big spenders: another fact with a capital F.

A combination of a dodgy centre back pairing with full backs who aren’t strict in their defensive duties, allied with wingers ( Benny ) who don’t want go help out is a recipe for pressure

That little boy crying was worth a million words.

But surely he should know that’s the way football and the world are going these days, and there’s nothing he can do about it?

Maybe someone with a sensible take on these things should explain it to him?
