I Hope Loic Remy Gets A Contract At Newcastle

We were wondering if it would be possible for Newcastle to sign Loic Remy full-time in January, and of course that would depend on what Queens Park Rangers want to do with their striker, who they signed last January, after we thought he was on his way to Newcastle.

Loic Remy – the door is open for Newcastle

However, in spite of Joe Kinnear saying he was QPR’s player and the London club would take him back next summer, that doesn’t  seem to be the case,  and it seems Harry Redknapp is happy (or at least resigned)   to have Loic join Newcastle United.

This is what Harry told the Shields Gazette today:

“Remy wanted to go to Newcastle, so good luck to him. I hope he does well.” “He’s not in my thoughts.”

“I only want people who are here and want to be here, that’s all I’m concerned with.” “Taarabt and all those who’ve gone on loan, good luck to them.”

“I hope they do well, stay where they are and get a contract there.”

Loic transfer fee is around £8M, and he would be an absolute bargain at that price, and the French International has scored 3 goals in just four appearances so far for Newcastle, and from what we can tell he would jump at the chance of joining Newcastle.

So there you have it, Joe – go sign this player in January.

No point discussing this. All depends on how the season goes which depends on how long pardew is here and who replaces him. The way things are now, remy would think thrice before signing.

    Evening Ed
Remy would be a great signing, we must have a first refusal on him. A market trader would have the brains to have written that one in the deal. Big Mike will surprise a few and sign some players in January I dare say. The premiership is relatively poor this season at the bottom end, there’s at least 5 sides worse than us so no chance of going down

Coming on this blog these days is a bit like going on a Mackem blog:
    Our squad is shite
    Our manager is clueless
Our owner doesn’t give a damn
    We’re going to get relegated
    We’re full of Frenchies
We don’t have a chance of beating Cardiff

    Etc.

I agree mate, i just get depressed when i read the majority of posts on here now.

Yes our owner is a twat and Kinnear is back but little is different to the season we finished 5th.

Alan Pardrew has his blowouts and maybe a change is needed but we got to keep the faith lads!

Hull wouldn’t be on the list, well not the first 5. It would be palace, Mackems, Norwich, Fulham and stoke.

So it appears that Kinnear hasn’t a clue about the terms of Remy’s loan deal!
