We must say we like the new third strip that is available for fans to buy today at the club shops – and maybe when we play on the road in these strips, we can play like Brazil – like in that first half the last time out at Cardiff City?
Vurnon Anita – likes the new Brazil like strip
The new Puma strip has been modelled by Vurnon Anita today, and the Dutchman had this to say about it on the Newcastle web-site:
“I think it’s very nice,” “It’s got a little Brazilian swag to it and it’s bright, so we can scare the opponents. That’s a good thing.” “It feels very nice and it fits well. I’ll be very happy to wear it.”
And here are some other photos if you haven’t yet seen the new strip, which we understand Mike Ashley specifically requested because he wants Newcastle to start playing like the great Brazilian sides of the past – over to you Alan Pardew.
And yes, I was just kidding about Mike Ashley wanting the strip, so Newcastle could play like Brazil.
Sorry about that – but I bet the feeling was good – while it lasted.
And come to think of it our defense is similar to some of the great Brazil sides of the past – not very good – so that’s a start?
Howay The Lads!!
